Can you please address, to this community, what SONY is doing to fix the DRM issues. I have multiple PS3 but can only watch my content on one? Why isn’t it tied to my PSN id.
I’ve also had 2 PS3s YLOD on me and I lose ALL my bought video content when this happens …this is unacceptable.

I was just wondering about the download list of the video store. I had purchased content on my PS3 & it had been in my download list. I then used my account on my PSP & downloaded that content onto it. However, now it seems to have disappeared from my download list on both my PS3 & PSP.
Is content on the video store only good for one download?? I figured like the game section of the Playstation Store that content would forever stay on the download list, could be downloaded on up to 5 systems, & would have to be repurchased in order to be downloaded again if content is on said 5 systems.
I’m only using one PS3 & one PSP, so any answers as to where that video content went would be tremendously helpful! Thanks!

I love Sony products, but you guy/gals here are pushing my loyalty boundaries.

I found the cases you were talking about, but those cases involved “shrinkwrap” agreements that are inside the box and “clickwrap” agreements in which the user must agree to terms after already purchasing software. In this situation their is a “clickwrap” agreement in which the user must agree to EULA prior to purchase. The EULA is then part of the offer and the purchase and use of software is acceptance and performance. Courts have enforced the EULA in these instances, but the concept is still in its infancy and decisions are needed from higher courts. This is governed by UCC 2-207 and if you are a lawyer, law student, or have access to legal writing there is an interesting analysis on this issue here: 106 A.L.R.5th 309.
I did not want to start a legal argument on a gaming forum. I just weanted to put someone in their place who was banned for beinig immature and then claims that Sony is breaking the law.

Frm the post above, it’s safe to assume that I have read the EULA and understand it completely. Now, the terminated user may get his content back because Sony “may” make a special system in which a terminated user can retireve funds remianing in wallet and content when the account is terminated. Sony is not bound to help the user, but may at their discretion.
Any news on when Metalocalypse: Season One will be available?
If I was in charge of whatever department handles the PS3’s video store, I’d intentionally not release one in Canada just to spite all the whiners in here. Go sign up to Netflix if you want to watch a movie so bad.
Just a little f.y.i for everyone out there… DO NOT purchase anything from the Video store if you think your ps3 might ever break. Ever. I recently purchased my second ps3 after my first one broke and was out of warrenty (I bought one of the very first ps3’s). I now have absolutely no way of activating my new ps3 to watch, or even download, PSN video content. EVER. I was basically told I “should have had my first ps3 repaired”. Now, I am locked out of the PSN video store FOREVER. Past, present, and future. Thanks, Sony!!!!!
I guess I have to keep giving my money to Microsoft for Video content as Sony keeps leaving Canada out of the loop.(Even though Sony owns to the rights to MANY of the films added to the PSN Store)
Also we know its possible to get the content to us since Microsoft did it, so whats the hold up?
