Hold on to your seats, Home-people, because I have some news that is going to blow you away. To start, EA SPORTS has brought the NFL into PlayStation Home. That’s right – you’ll now be able to represent your favorite franchises (Go Steelers!) by sporting your favorite team’s jersey while in-world. These jerseys are now available in the EA Sports Complex (and the Home Mall) and cover every team in the entire league (32 jerseys total). With v1.3 now live on your PlayStation 3s and sporting universal game launching functionality, PlayStation Home has truly become the destination for all of you football fans. Log in, toss on your favorite jersey to let your fellow man knows what’s up, launch into online co-op games of Madden NFL 10, and then return to Home to do it again and again. Never before has finding a friend to sack the ‘back with been easier. Bring the wood!
You’ve all been waiting since last Thursday’s v1.3 core client update for the highly-anticipated camera item, and that’s why we’re happy to announce that every one of you devoted PlayStation Home community members will now have a free camera. You heard me – free! This camera will automatically appear in your inventory today and will allow you to take photos from the 1st and 3rd person perspective. Any pictures you take will immediately be saved to the “Photo” section of your XMB where you can then share these photos both in-world and out, whether it is in the Picture Frames that decorate your personal spaces or on Flickr, Twitpic, or Photobucket accounts.
You’ll also find two new spaces have been released in PlayStation Home today– the PixelJunk Museum and the MotorStorm Monument Valley Campsite. The PixelJunk Museum is a sleekly designed public area dedicated to the PixelJunk series where you can explore and collect content related to the PixelJunk Eden, PixelJunk Racers, PixelJunk Monsters and PixelJunk Shooter titles. The MotorStorm Monument Valley Campsite is a mesa-top personal space with its own MotorStorm caravan and an amazing vista of the MotorStorm festival across the Valley. There’s also a ton of MotorStorm-themed furniture available to customize this exclusive hideaway. Check out the pics below.

Sony has to PLEASE god stop caring so much about the minorities who care about home, and show some more care towards the gamers… who still can’t bloody use cross game chat, and manage a friends list properly!
I wish my ps3 still worked… Only a year and a half old and it died on me with a yellow light. I managed to get it fixed by sony for $150 only to have the blu ray drive completely die on me just outside of the 90 day refurbished warrenty.. I then tried to update to sony’s newest firmware. At 40% install it freezes and comes up with an error message. It is due to the blu ray drive failing the hardware check. So now I am stuck with a ps3 that wont complete the firmware install and when it starts it goes right to the install and freezes at 40%.
I am very frustrated with sony at the moment. Unrelaible PS3’s are making me hesitant to invest anymore money into this game system……GOSH!!!!!
Home frezzes on me just trying to log in. Have to shut down PS3 and turn it back on. And I have deleted every thing and reinstalled it again and again and it still locks up. :(

A lot of people still have the freezing issue.
On the forums there’s a fix.
Some people can just delete the Home icon (hit triangle and re-install it).
However, it doesn’ work for all and if the above doesn’t work you have to go to the Game save data and delete any personal space…DON’T DELETE THE SETTINGS ONE THOUGH.
When you’re back in Home, make sure that when you do exit, you’re not in a personal space.
Go to a public space like the Mall, Square, etc…just don’t exit in a personal space.
You’ll be able to get back into Home this way and it’s only some people that will have to do this…many are fine and some can get in just by deleting the Home icon and installing it again.
Only delete the Home personal space game saves if the Home icon delete doesn’t work.
Your furniture will have to be put back in place, but you’ll get into Home.
Just wanted to thank the people in the forums that finally figured this out.
Hope Sony and the Home team get a fix in place soon for this problem.

AND I love all the new updates but I WILL NOT PARTAKE until I know everything works!That means w/o having to delete re-install and recreate all my Home space layouts [Which seems to be a go around that SOME peeps have success with and others do not] Can someone at SCEA post a message somewhere when it works [for sure] Thanks.

I had the “initializing” freeze entering Home like so many others here. The simple uninstall re-install from XMB worked no problem. But it’s been a week now and SERIOUSLY that is not a fix it is an ERROR in need of a fix.
I tried to re-enter Home after reading this blog and it completely froze after the loading screen for my Chamber room. So I can go into and out of my room but not exit Home from my room? What part of “fix” is this? I was going to spend the $5.99 for the Neptune Suite room but what’s the use. Stupid, Sony, stupid.
And all this talk of it being a “beta” so it’s ok. Sorry, but that’s a way big cop-out. If it were a limited or closed or invitation only beta, than ok maybe, but to let everyone in and keep updating the software – now at 1.30, the “beta” is simply to cover their @sses.
And less disturbing but adding insult to injury – “Tomorrow” is not spelled “today” or “now”. Seriously, if you are going to write a blog, FACT CHECK it before publishing it. Or how about “Edit it” afterwards in the main story, not just as a response – i.e. the Oct 15th date for the EA stuff.

Its a question and a complaint as most of the time the users are more up to date as to whats going on with this program than the people supposedly running it.Between the constant freezing and crashing and maybe today,maybe next week folowed by we’re not really sure,yeah its now a complaint.People keep hoping this thing gets better but if they were actually charging for this thing,yikes.See you next week Sony,maybe you’ll have it fixed by then.
