  • I wanted to original white PSP w/the GT logo for a while. After a while I just gave up & got the black one. A few years & a plain silver PSP-3000 bundle don’t really entice me to uprgade my 1000. Maybe something else will come along.

  • This is a great way to have people buy this instead of the PSPgo. Honestly, now why did you even announce the go? Should’ve just added another analog stick, made it a lot snazzier with a larger flash drive and then call it a PSP2. Just make sure ya bump up the GPU even more.

I might buy this now..lookit all those goodies!

  • thanks now i really regret pre ordering the psp go

  • this is great but you guys really gotta show the pspgo some love look at how much we are paying…..is just not right

  • “PlayStation Network movie voucher – Consumers can easily download a movie from the PlayStation Network to their PSP system. Title to be announced.”

“Music voucher – Consumers can download 10 free songs onto their PC or Mac using Sony Music Pass. Available to U.S. residents only.”

Well there’s a contradictory statement if I’ve ever seen one. You say this music store is U.S. only, but then you act like the video store is available everywhere. You even mention Canada in your release statement.

This is getting out of hand.

  • I def need a pspgo bundle… I hope they do something about that since they are pushing the go.

  • Can’t wait for this. I’ve already bought a PSP for this game . . .I don’t know whether to buy it on UMD or Download. I have an 8gb card. . .does anyone know if running the game off UMD saves battery / increases load times as opposed to UMD?

The UMD requires the battery to work harder to spin the drive. A download should be better for the battery life of the PSP.

I agree, I want a go because I am constantly traveling and I am sick of carrying all those damn UMDs. I want a Go with a bundle to download a game or two or a movie or something, not this RockBand light [DELETED]! Give us a full game damnit! I mean hell, I can go out and for a couple more bucks buy an Xbox 360 bundle. For the push to go digital and the push on the Go, Sony is not doing the consumer any favors by not offering some other form of incentive other than RockBand Lite.

  • Give us GT for free with the PSPgo! Stop bean cheap@sses!

The UMD requires the battery to work harder to spin the drive. A download should be better for the battery life of the PSP. The battery on the Go is a lot smaller than the one on the UMD system, but will supply a gamer with the same amount of usage.

I agree, I want a go because I am constantly traveling and I am sick of carrying all those annoying little UMDs. I want a Go with a bundle to download a game or a movie or something. And I do not mean RockBand light, that’s not even a full game! Give us a full game, after all I can go out and for $50 more I can buy an Xbox 360 game of the year bundle and that comes with TWO games!

For the push to go digital and the push on the Go, Sony is not doing the consumer any favors by not offering some other form of incentive, other than RockBand Lite.

  • Hey, if you are really angry about the whole “Marketing Strategy” of the PSP, I strongly suggest you tweet a message to @freshmozz. Ms. Neirinckx’s Twitter account. She’ll probably ignore you, but if enough people complain, maybe they’ll realize just how poor of a deal North American gamers are getting. Don’t forget, Canadians still don’t have access to the PSN Movie store, so this deal really doesn’t make any sense.

  • Why not a PSP Go GT bundle?

  • lol “Gran Turismo features more than 800 vehicle models from the world’s top manufacturers and 35 tracks – all this is only possible on the PSP system”

GT4 has 700 vehicles and 100 tracks, thats a PS2 game, and GT5 will probably have 800 or 900 (maybe) and 120-150 tracks, who knows eh? but anywho, this looks awsome. but im not buying a PSP anytime soon. too many great PS3 games :)

  • Can we have Kyle Moffat on here NOW to tell Canadians what kind of bundle we might get…you know…since the movies and music will not be available to us?

  • eh. how about you guys come out with a Gran Turismo 5 PS3 Slim limited edition made out of carbon fiber????

don’t you think that’d sell like crazy???

  • i got a few more questions sony when is the new psp firmware update and do you think crash team racing will ever hit the U.S. psoneclassics on Playstation Store? please reply, thanks

  • Looks good, but I’m still waiting on the Assassin’s Creed Limited Edition PSP bundle before I get my feet wet.

  • waiting to see how PSP Go users are gonna get their pre-order bonsus’s.

    can someone answer this?

Plus i mean seriously Sony. I really really like the PSP Go, but your launching it at a higher price, no game included, the machine itself uses less material (overall cheaper). Give the public a reason to buy the PSP Go besides it’s portability and a glorified demo of Rockband.

    sincerely,
    fan of the Playstation brand.

  • Hi every one..I agree SONY needs to help me buy the PSP go By giving me a good bundle..Im guessing they might do a christmas bundle..but I just cant wait…sucky.

  • very cool package… this will certainly help drive PSP and GTP sales..

  • I can tell you what movie would be perfect for this pack. The Fast and The Furious. Think about it, it is a racing pack with a racing game. Why not have a movie on cars too.

  • So, does Sony not like the PSP Go? If this game was built for the Go would expext it to come bundled with it.

  • why is this not a psp go?

  • I’ve bought three PSP’s already, I think I’ll stick with my UMD’s. I’m pretty sure Sony’s ten year plan with the PSP, is to release a new model every year. Seriously. Not only that, they change accessory compatibility all the time too. Imagine my surprise when I got the 3000 and my headphones didn’t fit. Had to order another black set from Asia, Since only white is in America. But it’s very hard, if not imposable to find a white PSP in America, strange. And no one made an FM transmitter for the 3000, PHILLIPS had a great one for the 1000/2000, got mine at Target. So guess what now, they changed the headphone jack again! They also changed the memory stick from the Duo to the M2. I got a 35mb, 1gig, 2gig, 4gig, and 8gig DuoSticks.
My thoughts on what the new PSP should have had. Added a second analog stick, built in FM transmitter, and digital video camera. And simpler, better working Remote Play feature. And please make something for the PS3 that turns it into a DVR/LocationFree player for the PSP. I loved LocationFree until I dropped my cable box to lower the bill. A cable box is the only way you can use one, sucks.

  • And I don’t even homebrew. Never even cross my mind. You see it all over the internet, but I’m a loyal sucker Sony. So be kind to all us loyal suckers and give us a little, make it worth it to be a Sony fan. Instead of charging for Public Betas, and Premium Avatars. Give us 5.1 sound in HD movies from the store or a Socom from Zipper (sorry), or maybe even, dare i say it. In Game Music.
There’s my rant, we love you Sony, love us back.

  • Sony, you are seriously making me reconsider buying a Go. It makes zero sense that I can get cheaper hardware, a FULL VERSION of a game that all signs are pointing to being fantastic, when you guys are trying to push sales of the Go with a gimped pack in and a much higher price.

    ZERO.
    SENSE.

  • I really want to buy a PSP GO, but you are making it practically impossible. You give the 3000 the bundle that should be for the PSP GO and no incentive to dish out the extra 50 bucks for the GO. I wouldn’t mind the lack of any good bundles if the Go was cheaper than the PSP 3000, but i guess I’m still gonna hold back on buying a PSP (at least until Persona 3 Portable hits the states)

  • I’ll get this at some point

  • i sold my 1000 model back in 2007 and i’m never buying a psp again, damn 360 arcade is cheaper than the go and the same price as 3000 bundles. And the arcade actually comes with games! There are hardly any good games on psp worth playing, GT is one of the few worth playing. And I also hate silver psps give us in white!!. I don’t care about 3000 entertainment packs, give me cross game chat and custom soundtracks!!! Fix the damn ps3

  • Sony is shooting itself in the foot with bundles like these if they want the PSP Go to be successful.

  • ummm shouldnt this entertainment pack come with PSPgo?

  • While I may not drop money for this bundle, I’m definitely eyeing the PSP 3000 itself.

  • This is awsome, I have 3 questions to the dev team. I want to know how long this bundle will stay on sale 2. How does customization work this time around. 3. I heard we can sell cars and wat not, how does this system work, .. Ty 4 your time and keep making awsome games

  • Wow, way to prove what a ripoff the PSP Go is Sony.

  • Only An Automotive Entusist can Offord???!!! :P

  • While this is a cool pack, it really kinda defeats the point of the PSP Go considering they release around the same time. Either way, I’ll consider this pack. Still using my PSP-1000 (I love it) and it does fine for my gaming needs. Just no real incentive to consider upgrading especially to a PSP Go.

  • lol false advertising. none of the US bundles come with a game case.

    ATTN: COLLECTORS

THE GAME AND THE MOVIE COMES IN A DINKY LITTLE CARDBOARD SLEEVE. LAME AS ****.

  • PSPgo Price drop to 199 confirmed?

  • Why bother releasing the PSPgo? It’s obvious you don’t want it to sell by not giving what another country is getting for free with it. Instead you give the highly anticipated game for free with the old model? A digital copy is more expensive than the actual physical copy?

  • Why isn’t this 4 the PSP Go?Europe actually gets lucky and scores FREE Gran Turismo DD and you guys bundle the best PSP game with a 3000?And not a Go?Pathetic.

  • This bundle photo may be misleading because it shows the GT PSP game case (case with UMD game disc, cover, and manual) and Sony has never included a complete game package with its PSP bundles. Previous PSP bundles have only included the UMD game disc and manual (disc is stored in a cardboard sleeve).

Also, there’s no expiration date mentioned but Sony always sets an expiration date on the “free” downloadable content (90 days after release date) so don’t count on getting these downloads on bundles that have gotten stale on the shelf.

  • I’m still debating to buy either a 3000 to replace my 1001 or buy the new GO……….

but with Gran Turismo being my favorite Game and this bundle is 50 bucks less than the go….it’s tempting

  • If the movie is a good one i might just buy this and continue buying memory sticks…..

but the Go is slick looking……..but My screen is bigger than the Go’s…..but the Go has an internal 16Gb memory….

YO SONY YOU GUYS PLANNING ANY GOOD PSP GO Bundles!!!!

  • Great!! But what about those of us who want to get the pre-order bonuses for Gran Turismo

  • i just wish to match the voucher for the white corvette, they made the psp white as well. I like the star wars bundle white psp, but i can’t get it anywhere for a reasonable price, and without the darth vader logo on back. silver is still my second choice though, so i’m still going to get it.

  • @ 64

You said it! A PS3 Slim in Carbon Fiber/GT5 bundle is a definite buy!

Sorry Sony, I have to agree with a lot of what I’ve read so far…the PSP Go isn’t getting a good welcoming coming to market all alone, especially since the memory cards are now different formats (no hot swapping of cards with the older PSPs).

You gotta give us something, please…!

  • They Should Make A Yellow PSP bundle Whit a Simpson’s Design or somthing like that
