If you’ve been keeping up, you already know that Friday was the submission deadline for the Comic-Con Ratchet & Clank Create-a-Comic contest. So now it’s time to vote!
We’ve created a Flickr folder with all the great entries here (a super-mega thanks to all who participated!). And now we need your help to determine the winners — it’s time to get in there and vote up your favorites. Just like MLB All-Star voting, there aren’t any specific rules. All you have to do is view one of the photos, and that counts as a vote. If you like it, rack up the page views, get your friends to view it, etc. — we don’t care how it happens.
The comics with the most views from today until noon on July 17, will be picked as winners. Specifically, the top 25 will be receiving an awesome Schwag Bag, and the top comic creators that will be in San Diego area, will be granted access to the July 22 Insomniac Games and SCEA Comic-Con community event, as well as the July 23 exclusive PlayStation event where you’ll go hands-on with some of our biggest upcoming titles.
So get voting because the clock’s ticking! All details and rules are here.

God these are all terrible.
Un-funny, horribly drawn etc. The Iron Giant one gets props for mentioning the Iron Giant, but the inclusion of him is random and makes no sense.
Insomniac/SCEA, serves you right for excluding Canada, The Canadian here:
Put all the other entries to shame.
Thats my entry…the art is really bad. I rushed on the day that it was due, needed to wait for Insomniac Games to give me the green light for the concept, best of luck to everyone who entered! Thanks everyone for the votes.
So the grand prize winners gain access to what, exactly? Just trying to clarify.
Isn’t there a type of program that allows you to refresh pages?
What say people aren’t using those to get more views. Just wondering if there is any security against that.
The rules say “If you like it, rack up the page views, get your friends to view it, etc. — we don’t care how it happens.”
So, no security is needed. I still think people should use their PSN to vote.
Alright, thanks Invader.
to be honest, most of these suck.
It would be cool if you guys could integrate the winning comic in one of your games (like the cool drawn cutscene by Cpt. Quark in ToD).
My vote goes to this one, naturally: http://www.flickr.com/photos/playstationblog/3717439576/sizes/l/in/set-72157621392384464/
Josue A. FTW! Awesome style!
There are some other very good ones, with great ideas. :)
True as blue:
Go figure, mine is right after Josue’s. That’s a tough act to follow…
Still, give mine a chance here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/playstationblog/3716625769/in/set-72157621392384464/
Lots of good entries.
Guys I’m Josue A. thanks for the support so far…KEEP THE VOTES COMING!!!…^__^
Sorry I always forget to put the link…^_^ http://www.flickr.com/photos/playstationblog/3717438372/in/set-72157621392384464/ please keep voting, thanks!!
That’s some good stuff, Josue.
Wish I had done it with more time; it always seems as if I only learn about contests at the last minute.
Josue did not use the template given in the instructions post. I agree it is by far the best, but it does not qualify.
I did not do that on purpose, In the instruccions they said: “each page had to be no more than 3mb of size” so I thought that I had to send the pages separate from the template and they put it in a universal one or something. Inmediate discualification means that my pages would not be there at all, but given the reality that I followed every guide line and only commit the single mistake of not using the template they let it pass. So I’m in thank god and insomniac. BTW I was using the PDF file as my guide.
Oh…and look closely and you’ll see that I’m not the only one, yes we’re few but human error is always there.
Human error or not, if someone made a comic without Ratchet and Clank, it would not qualify because it was required as part of the contest. I realize that you are not the only one, but those are the minority. Personally, I do not believe it should qualify, but I am not a judge. Not that you need it at this point, but good luck with the contest.
With one day left, I’d like to thank everyone who were nice enough to say they enjoyed my comic, and pimp it once last time:
Good luck to everyone who entered (and especially those of you lucky enough to gain access to the PS Party in San Diego! When no one is looking, see if you can steal 51 copies of A Crack In Time and bring them back to us as party favors!)
