Note, I’d like to have *all* of these devs on at some point or another, but we’d like to hear what you think. Also, I know we didn’t have nearly every game/developer here, mostly just the targets I thought most likely (some overseas devs might be a problem based on time zones/language). That being said, if there’s someone you’d like to hear from, that’s what the comments are for. Speak up!

I Would like a Q&A session with Slant Six. As long as they refrain from using the word “Soon.” Because that’s not “Soon” enough.
I vote for none of the above. Definetely slant six games, socom confrontation is pathetic. Its 8 months after the release and the game still doesn’t have half the features on the box. They never update us, and when they do its every few months which is pathetic because their still trying to fix the game to get it to where it should have been at release.
We need a Q/A with Slant 6 to find out what going on with Socom: Confrontation. Not sure Sony remembers that game, but Socom is the game that got console games into online big time. If not for Socom, Sony’s online would be nothing. Socom deserves respect!
oh sorry for the double post, but for the record… i sold my ps3 and actually backtracked and have now bought a ps2 to play the old socoms again. my disgust alone for confrontation made me do it, not even killzone or anything else could stop me from going back to your last-gen system.
i am still eagerly awaiting fixes with socom confrontation and in hopes of if it does get better going back to the ps3.
for now ill stick to the classics that i know work.(minus glitchers and coders)
sorry for triple posting but not even mag could make me keep a ps3, and i know what your thinking sony. make socom confrontation bomb so all of us go to mag. no one really cares though, its fps, its massive, i dont really care.
socom would have grown again if it were good, the real devoted fans tell a friend who tells a friend. thats what happened with the first 2, but then you strayed from your path…. ugh.

The answer is obvious. Slant Six. They need to answer for their mistakes. Their shortcomings. Their intentional deception. Period. Do what is right Sony, not what’s easy.

Give us Slant Six.
It will make everyone happy. Tell them to post every day and answer every question we addressed. It is sicking to know that PlayStation has yet to step in. Sicking!

I would like to point something out to Sony. Socom is one of it’s biggest shooters. NOT KZ2 or Uncharted. SOCOM is the greatest game ever made by a 1st party developer. No doubt. I don’t get why Sony doesn’t spend the time and resources to make a great Socom. They could make millions making a great Socom which they have in the past. The rest of those games.. MAG, Fat princess, Madden 10… Who gives a darn. It’s all about Socom. I bought a PS3 only for Socom.. And boy what a rip off.
Slant Six games please. I want to hear an apology and what they are doing to correct the mess they released called Confrontation …

Uhmm, seriously Slant 6 needs to be added on this Q&A. How can SCEA not acknowledge most of the long awaited completion of this game. Its beyond me that we are going almost a year and game is still buggy: loss of audio during game, reloading, etc… just go into the forums. Most of the topics are negative. So i would like to ask slant six what is the deal???

Please give us a Q/A session with Slant Six Games, or any other faction involved with the development and deployment of the fixes that this game needs.
We were a patient community initially, but it is now 8 months post-release and there are huge issues that need to be addressed.
The problem is compounded by a PR team that has been feeding the Socom Community complete BS for some time now.
WE DESERVE A Q/A SESSION WITH THE PEOPLE RESPONSIBLE. THE COMMUNITY’S CONCERNS ARE INCREASINGLY DISREGARDED ON THE SOCOM FORUMS. THE PR TEAM HAS BECOME COMPLETE GHOSTS TO THE COMMUNITY.

so, it seems that the developers are getting lazy as hell because it seems that most online oriented games needs a patch or two because of the bugs.i’m still waiting for the guys from zen studios to fix a few bugs that their game has (zen pinball) :(

With Sir Howard saying PSN is being opened up, Aino coming out with remote play AND dedicated gaming keys and now a full web browser (thankfully that oversight has been corrected), the Aino’s ability to play games and apps local on the phone and the PSP Go launch and the addition of a phone apps section to the PSN store and we’ve got something good. Is the Saito going to have remote play as well? With it’s better specs and bigger screen, I’d opt for it over the aino and would be just .1″ smaller than the psp go.

Dear Jeff. I am a gamer that usually NEVER comes to post on these things and never partakes in the mess and fuss that some people put out (some more rude than others).
I just sit there and play through it and I know that posting in these comments or forums will never work. But please, I don’t understand why you can not ask Slant Six to be in the poll.
If they wern’t ASKED to be in it then ASK them! What gives!? So many people’s faith will be restored in SOCOM and SCEA and SONY all at once if you just tell us why they were chosen not to be included. As a LOYAL Sony customer it is the least I and everyone else here deserves.
