  • Hmm killzone 2 stratgy videos for $6….. I feel I may look elsewhere for trophy vids. They seem simple enough though. :> Hoping the game has improved since upon the demo and especially the buggy beta.

  • I can’t believe all the people that are posting negative comments and crying about the weekly updates not being up to their liking. Why can’t you just appreciate that there even is a Playstation Store? I check the store every Thursday like most of you do, and I download things I like. If I go a week and don’t see anything that appeals to me I don’t cry about it. The network, Home, videos, demos, etc, are all free to you thanks to Sony. Stop whining.

  • @39 yep you are correct, 170MB patch game out today with the map already in it.

  • in both the PS3 and PSP stores, the prinny addon doesn’t specify which game it is for.

  • This is one of the best PS Store updates ive ever saw…

  • Thanks for the update. I was hoping for PoP addon though. And does anyone know when watchmen game comes out.

  • It’s nice seeing a new downloadable game with this week’s PSP update, but I wished that all those PSN PSP games had demos. I’m sure others like myself would prefer to play a demo of a game first rather than buying it without trying it out (especially since game downloads are non-refundable). I think it’s a good idea to release a demo for any future PSN PSP games (and regular PSP games) a week or so before the release of the full game. That way, PSP owners like myself can try out that new game to see if we like it enough to buy the full version once it’s released.

Also, and not to sound too needy, but I really wish that more PSN games (i.e. Mega Man 9) and PSone classics are available for download for the PSP. I well aware of how difficult it is to release downloads for 3rd party PSone games, but I feel that it wouldn’t hurt to try harder to get those games on the PS Store. As for suggestions on any future PSone downloads, I recommend PSone Greatest Hits and lesser-known gems (i.e. Suikoden II, Tactics Ogre, Klonoa). As for PSN titles, how about considering launching the PS3 & PSP versions simultaneously. The PSP is a great platform, but at times I feel that it doesn’t get as much attention as the PS3.

  • That guide has to be good it’s made by Brady im in. :)

  • Meh. So much complaining. I’m just happy to see the PSP gettin’ some love.

From what I’ve played thus far, No Gravity is pretty awesome – as expected, it’s quite reminiscent of the Colony Wars games, reminding me more specifically of BANG! Gunship Elite from the Dreamcast. At only $10 and weighing in at a minuscule 49MB installed, this one’s definitely a keeper.

  • Good update, thanx.

  • why is everybody crying about this week’s update?? just because it is missing one or two things you wanted doesn’t make it a terrible update. Do a Sessler!!! (put your you know what in your mouth and be quiet)

  • @102 and 32

I could not have said it better myself!

  • Wow, you people are dumb. This is a pretty good update. Should the guide be a little cheaper? Perhaps, or then again you can just go buy the $20 Brady guide for the same info.

Awesome demos, a nice downloadable game for PSP. Though I do wish Sony would make it so any downloadable PSP games were also playable on PS3.

Looks like due to Killzone 2 launching tonight, the Xbots are out in full force. Slimmer updates than this have been rated higher with less losers complaining for no good reason.

  • “Wow. I see lots of cry babies”

    Me too.

  • Thanks for the Demos guys

I notice that the downloads are super slooooww right now, i guess its because so many people are downloading the demos. haha if you set up a bittorrent distribution, you wouldnt have this problem! just a suggestion.

  • where do you see the spoiler? did you click to watch the video? then you’re stupid.

  • Great update ! Geez I see lot’s of people here still need pacifiers…

  • love the idea of a vid walk through:D

  • the guide would be kinda cool if…ya know you could watch movies while playing the game. otherwise…why?

overall to add to the me-centric world, nothing really appeals to me. No biggie though, SO4 has got me covered until you guys finally let retailers sell MLB09 the show!

    go cubbies

  • C’mon, don’t be Micro “Transactions” Soft and micro charge for things. Be loyal to us! We like telling people who fanboy the 360 that “well, at least I don’t get ripped by Sony and spend and arm/leg for basic content like themes and video content”

But thanks for the KZ2 demo AND the new SF4 costumes.

  • Tell Konami they can go Screw until they bring MGO to PSN

  • Is that strategy video just a video.. or is a full blown app like Qore?? If it’s just a vid i’ll skip.

  • To everyone who says “Wow, there’s alot of people crying”:

They aren’t crying, they’re posting their own opinions in a comment section. That is what the comment section is about you know, people posting their opions on the topic of the blog post.

  • Oh boo hoo I didn’t get what I wanted. Shows how spoiled you kids really are. Well guess its good your finding out early that you cant always get what you want, and what it feels like to be let down, just because they said the game was gonna be out, doesn’t mean 100% its gonna be there, would you rather have them throw it out there all glitched and half way working. Obviously something happened and its not working properly so they need to fix it. Get excited about something when you see it not based on what others say (this includes businesses). None or you little whiners has any common scene or street smarts.

  • A killzone 2 demo and the Tom Clancy HAWX demo, man I still cant get enough of RE5 demo . Playstation is the best.

  • Thanks a lot Sony. Once again you’ve managed to annoy me with yet another PSN update. You know what’s awesome? Not labeling whether an ADD-ON is for PSP or PS3. That’s totally awesome. It’s how you get to make money off of people who for no reason whatsoever to assume said ADD-ON was for PSP to pay $3.99 only to find out it’s for the stupid Prinny PSP game. Thanks a lot. Really. You stole $3.99 from me. Thank you.

  • Great Update but no Lbp DLC =(.

P.D. I want my Killzone 2 copy now.

  • @125 I definitely agree that everyone has the right to their own opinions in the comments section here. People are free to either whine about an update or post constructive criticism about it (like in my recent post). If some of those comments sound like whining to some, then simply ignore those comments altogether.

  • @ 122
“C’mon, don’t be Micro “Transactions” Soft and micro charge for things.”

Well I have to say at least we don’t have to pay to get on the PSN.

    @ 128
I’m not trying to be snide but the Prinny game is for PSP and the add-on is listed under the PSP store. So why would you think it was for PS3. You shouldn’t get mad at Sony because you didn’t do your homework

Does anyone know what ever happened to the
free Syphon Filter PS game for Qore subscribers?

  • COD WAW map pack comes out in March so the other console doesn’t have either. Plus I wanted the HAWX demo for two weeks now, it’s time to download. Thanks Sony, keep up the good work, we just need some good dlc for the AAA titles that came out, not just the other system getting all the fun.

  • @131, because A) When I log into my PS3 PSN and go to NEW RELEASES I see it listed.
    B) It does not even say it’s for PSP. Why would I assume it’s for PSP. No where does it even give me any idea that it’s for Prinny and for PSP.

No I did do my homework, I forgot I should just assume that when it doesn’t say PSP/PS3 in the description that it’s clearly for Xbox 360 then. Thanks for the support, go Game Over yourself off a cliff.

  • It amazes me that people complain about the prices of everything on the PSN. At least we don’t have to pay to be online. And if I don’t like the content or the price I just don’t buy it. I mean seriously we could be paying $50 a year to have the PSN and still have to pay for every little thing.
We can make our wishes known without all the whining and the threats(“I’ll get it on the other system”) I mean seriously do you think saying that will change anything. If the content is not ready, it’s not ready.

  • @ 133

OK that was way over the top…I wasn’t being nasty to you I was simply stating that if you don’t have the game why would you buy add-on content anyway? And since it clearly says Prinny: Can I Really be the Hero? If you were unsure you could have looked up the game to find out which platform it was for before spending your money. It was your mistake not Sonys.

  • @135 Because there was nothing to be unsure about. It would be like next week buying a LBP DLC without even bothering to read the description only to find out it’s for the PSP LBP version that’ll come out in the near future. Wouldn’t that be stupid and annoy you? Why would you assume it was anything but the PS3 ADD-ON?

Same thing. I see a clear Disgaea style add-on. There’s nothing different about it. I’ve bought them all including the latest one this Thursday. I see NIS America. Why the hell would I assume it’s for Prinny PSP and NOT PS3?

  • @ 136 But if it’s an add-on wouldn’t you have to have the game first?

Oh I see… it is a game from the Digaea world so there’s where the confusion was. It makes sense now. Well hopefully you have a PSP. I heard it’s a good game. Thanks for explaining.

  • Disgaea..sorry I wish there was an edit button

  • See that’s the thing, I don’t own a PSP. It’s only $3.99 but this same crap happened to me before where they did not label it. You go to PSP ADD-ONs and it’s listed in big letters. You go to New Releases and no it’s not.

No where in the description does it even say what it’s for except for a small “PSP mention” at the very bottom which I shouldn’t even need to read that far if I’m going under the assumption it’s a Disgaea DLC.

What irks the crap out of me is that that $3.99 could have been used toward purchasing a PS1 game, that Burnout pack or game and pack, etc.

  • here i come Pusle! yay…

    peace,
    Lh

  • The Digital guide seems interesting, however with the quality of free online text guides, and even free online video guides on youtube and other sites, it seems hard to justify that purchase, unless you really want the hardest trophies now. Even then I know people that are already working on/possibly done their own guide.

  • 5 dollasr for the old skate levels? I’ll be buying these asap.

  • wtf!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
when is bomberman ultra coming out for the ps3?!! i been waiting for that game for more than 3 weeks.

  • Not the greatest update but the worst of it is that KZ2 video guide. Ick.

  • horrible update :(

  • Whiners. Ugh. The final battle in KZ2 is only a spoiler if you haven’t been paying attention! It’s been on numerous sites for a couple weeks now.

Appreciate the update guys! Keep up the good work. :)

  • Pretty good update!

  • Sony! where is all the exclusive stuff? how come we did not get a gta4 download…and if xbox has damn netflix.. why cant we get some blockbuster online. i havent bought an xbox yet, but im considering it! lets get back on the ball sony..killin me!

  • LOL, why would you want netflix or blockbuster on PS3? That makes no sense at all. The PS3 has a web browser on which you can watch nearly any movie you want…..FOR FREE. Gamers are getting really dependent this gen. They can’t figure out the simplest things by themselves. Rediculous. You WANT TO PAY for something you already have for FREE?

That’s almost as bad as the people who go around saying the stuypidest thing I’ve ever heard in my life; “I’d rather pay a monthly fee for PSN.” Some people just need to be humanely put down for their own good.

  • more then half of these updates were already already in the psn wow well only thing ima get its the killzone 2 update so im good
