Looks awesome, but I am waiting until I play the demo first to pick it up. I know, graphically, it’s amazing, but I will decide once I get to sample some of the gameplay. Wish the demo came out a little earlier than the 26th, but still, as long as I can try before I buy, if I like it, it’ll be a definite purchase.
Yeah, this is a for sure first day buy for me. Can’t wait to get my hands on this game, been waiting a long time now.

at first i saied it will sell one million copy with in 7 days i was wrong on that prediction i think its going to do two million in seven days . i pre order mine copy at gamestop two days ago, and i had to drive to four different gamestop untill i found one that had the demo code . so if you want to play the demo you better pre order the game in the next few week.

Awesome news, I really want to know the plans for future ‘free’ DLC.
sony have to understand that not everyone has the internet to know that killzone 2 is coming out.A big tv and print ad campaign is needed for all big budget games like this, games like this deserve to be seen and played by everyone that dont know what killzone is. SONY,THE WORLD IS WATCHING AND WAITING LETS SEE IT!

Now theres K2 and wow it looks freaken amazing hoping its gameplay is addictive as well.

SONY please advertise like nothing else before and get the word out on Killzone 2 and get those videos of gameplay on TV because they will blow people away!!!
When my wife notices a game from commericals then you have done well. Last game she noticed was R2 with is wicked commercials.

sorry to repost, but it really bothers me that sony dont understand that the reason that most games they release dont get the sales they deserve is because the lack of ads, sony needs a que from the BLU-RAY ads and put it to games! advertise as though we did not have the internet! PLEASE

2. Online Co-Op
3. Split-screen multiplayer
“Next-Gen” isn’t just about nice graphics.

Yesterday I watched the “Making of Killzone 2” video circulating on the web (42 min long), and I must say….those guys at Guerilla poured their sweet and blood into this game. Don’t worry guys….Guerilla has delivered to Sony what it’s going to be an AMAZING GAME.
Now it’s SONY’s turn to start a heavy Marketing campaign to do this game justice.
I know you guys at the Playstation Blog try your best to get the word out and that is why I check this site on a daily basis. But someone needs to talk to those old geezers that run the marketing department. Killzone 2 has the potential to be as big or bigger on PS3 than Gears of War 2 is on the Xbox 360….ONLY if SONY’s marketing geniuses get hard at work ASAP.

Lesson to Sony and devs: Demos are a marketing tool, making them = getting cash from on-the-fence people. Making them “exclusive” to people that are ALREADY buying your game (pre-orders) is pretty stupid and leaves a bad taste in potential customer’s mouths.

I live in NYC and still have not pre-ordered it because I want to get it at midnight and fear being tied to a pre-order with a store that isn’t doing a midnight launch.

I’m glad GG didn’t simply promise the moon and stars, and then choke. The end product has exceeded everyone’s expectations, and is poised to dethrone COD4 as the finest FPS out there.
Now, Sony, it’s up to you to get the word out. If this doesn’t get people migrating from their PS2s and Xbox 360s, I don’t, frankly, know what will. Bravo, Guerilla Games! Hope you make a bundle on this title.
