i totaly agree im a euro gamer and a South African gamer …. also from UK (wich classify’s as euro but any way … prices for games are crazy in the UK,SA,EU compare to the US like user 5 stated in US u pay 60/70$ wich to me from South Africa is extreamly cheap it adds up to R430/R480 wich is unbaliveably cheep compare to the R870/R760 i normaly pay ….now im not realy complaining cause its not like i dont have the money and im in the US quite often but it wouldnt hurt 2 know why the prices are so crazy ………oh ya by the way in case u were wondering how much R870 is in US it adds up to rufly 124$ dont trust my math work it out 4 ur self take 870 divide it by 7 (wich is a rounded off value)

I played the demo Sid Meier’s Civilization Revolution last night and was really impressed with a demo having so many features and extras.
Actually loved the game and will purchase it this weekend.

Sony please Bring Afrika out of Japan. I just saw the new game trailer and I can’t believe that this game would not come out in the US. I want to buy this game so make it easy for me. But if I have to import it I will but I would like to get it in the US more. So please bring it out in the US.
Hey. Something is wrong with the 2nd part of the E3 video conference. I think it was a bad conversion cause the video was zoomed too much. Maybe you guys could check it out. Nothing wrong with the first nor third parts of the conference.
Speaking of trophies, I finally got the bastard. Late Boomer trophy of SSDH the only one I needed, is finally mine!! I guess the orchestral music helped me focusing more :-D

Not bad at all. I must agree with a many others: finding a way to provide those that need them with PlayStation Cards needs to be a priority. Selling them online would be the wisest choice in my opinion. I’ve heard that there are gas stations out there that are carrying them. That’s certainly not the wisest choice with such a weak circulation and such a high demand.
Anyway, thank you for the massive amount of content this week. It’s a shame it has to end.

Hello Sony I have a few things I would like to say to you. Is there any plans on stuff like Xbox Live, Live Arcade, Virtual Console, Wii Ware and XNA. I so would love to see Sony make a version like XNA but for the PS brand instead. I would love to make games for the PSP and PS3.
Also over at 1up there was an interview that said to look for TGS being a great place for Sony fans. The person asking the questions said is Sony making any RPGs and Some one from Sony said no. There were rumors that you were making a Legend Of Dragoon 2 and now we find out Sony has no plans on RPGs.
I know you have heard this time and time again. But I bought the PS3 for RPGs not FPS games.
Were are my RPGs. I love them and I want them. I don’t want more FPS games.
Also Level 5 I think will be importent then Square-Enix. So buy them before they become to big and you can’t buy them.
Think of all the RPGs you would get from them new Dark Cloud 3, Rouge Galaxy 2, True Fantasy Live Online and so many other ones that people do not even know about.
Plus the PSP and the PS3 would both then get really great RPGs and to me would be the best news I could hear.
Sony if you want to win TGS buy Level 5.
I the PS3 but right now I am loving my 360 more seeing as that has all the RPGs.
Also I am not the only one that feels this way read the comments over at N4G and you will see I am not the only one that wants RPGs and ones that are only on the PS3.

The PSN cards are kind of strange. I watched a random YouTube video this morning and the guy had a 40 dollar PSN card that he was showing along with a collection of games. Are they out in other countries at the moment? Or could he have just made his own to be a d**k. Or perhaps they exist on some other plane of existing.

Now this is a good store update. All the bases seeme to be covered on the PS3 and PSP. E3 isn’t held every week but updates like this should become the norm. Or as close to the norm as possible. How often will the video store get updated? When new releases hit or weekely?

No i dont have a Debit/Credit option just a credit option and i have 2 debit cards compass bank and wachovia bank and they both dont work on ps store i just dont get it :( ..are u from the uk?

There could be the difference right there. I’m in the US so it would seem things work a bit differently.
Even still, with having the credit option I would think you could still use the card. That’s a shame.

Why can’t I download any of the videos on the PS Store for PC? It says, “There are no items available for your account.” or “Sorry, you do not meet the eligibility requirements for this product.”
Thanks for including the E3 press conference as a video download. What an exiting event. It made me VERY proud to be a PS3 owner.
I think I have decided that the best way to watch the E3 press conferences is by downloading the files from the PSN and XBL. The past two years I have experienced problems with (A) the website(s) I am watching the press conference on (B) the tV channel I am watching it on (C) I am at work and I can’t concentrate on the announcements.
Thanks for offering the conference this way. I think it is very valuable. The only request I have is a single file SD version for just-in-case I don’t want to wait for the long downloads for HD.
Sony’s briefing was by-far the most outstanding of the 3 (like is always is). Thanks for another great show Sony! Keep up the good work!

And yeah, Late Boomer and Shock and Awe should have been “gold”. Strange mix of trophies if you ask me. 10x multiplier I find kind of easy not to imagine the co-op split screen trophy but for these both you got a gold trophy for the small effort. When I got my DS3 in I thought: let me try the co-op out myself. I Blew up the first 3 times as I was messing around with the control sticks, but as soon as I got that under control (it was actually so simple), I had the trophy in no time.
Late Boomer on the other hand, seriously gives you headaches and therefore my advice, don’t try too many times in a row and only try it, when you feel focused enough.

Although it’s still only a RUMOR, PS3FANBOY and a few other blogs are stating 2009 and on Trophies may become mandatory.

Good now we need a Resistance: Retrobution demo for the new PSP game from E3, and we also need a Resistance: 2 demo, also a good few demos for the fallowing PSP games would help gamers see what the PSP has to offer:

Also any chance of a new Ace combat game for the PS3? The Xbox360 got one but it was not from the same developer team that made the first games, and it was vary bad according to the fan reviews.

Well, everyone got the Naruto demo but we had it for two weeks exclusively and we have the SOCOM beta.
Yeah true but eh I like PSN for free so I only download free stuff till those PSN cards get over the the darn states! They were supposed to hit last year at this time they never came! Get on the line and [DELETED] out those store retailers and find out what in gods name is takeing the PSN cards so long to get there!?
I have been talking to my local gamestop for a month on the issue and they tell me the never heard of such and item, nor do they carry it.
This is a problem. If you wan’t to boast figures with downloads of stuff from PSN you need to get the PSN cards out to stores world wide and not sift them into the few small store chains in europe!
could sony please hire over some of sony’s video engineers to work on DivX/mpeg1/2/4 output quality? also mp3/mp4 audio quality has some minor flaws like VBR playback isn’t upto scratch.
the de-blocking etc isn’t enough for up-converting divx/MP4 to 1080P panels, sony should add motion adaptive deinterlacing and a colour/contrast/brightness control on divx/mp4.
for most people video playback quality is more important then just great games, as i and others use it more for playing video then i play games on it.
We need more PS1 titles, Sony! You have thousands of games in the stash. Why are they not being taken advantage of? Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy VII, Loaded, Parasite Eve, Return Fire, Battle Arena Toshinden, Street Fighter Alpha, Resident Evil, MDK, Philosoma. I would download every one of these immediately.

Umm I had a question I got a HDTV what I don’t understand is why are practically all the games are only in 720p I just don’t get it. If that is the case I could have gotten a 42inch HDTV for 100 dollars more just saying by the way taking the ability to play PS2 and one games is a big mistake its the only reason I bought the 60GB version and if your going to do that at least upgrade the memory on the PS3 and emulation so we have some support for it well scratch that just don’t remove it completely.
When will MGO be up Again?
We need more PS1 Classics in the US store, the selection is rather weak when compared to the JP store.
