Not to mention as amazing as the God of War series is, it is no where NEAR the same level of game that Final Fantasy XIII will be.
GOW 3 could be the greatest game of all time but its never going to have 40+ hours of gameplay. We would be lucky with 10-12.
This is getting rediculous Sony letting microsoft have triple A titles that should be on the PS3. Honestly stop investing in games that nobody wants and are epic failures like LAIR, Haze, and UT3. In the features section Microsoft has you pwned. I have had it with ure complaining of “oh we’re on a ten year life cycle, and oh Microsoft had a head start.” JUST BECAUSE URE ON A TEN YEAR LIFE CYCLE DOESNT MEAN WE SHOULD HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER EIGHT YEARS TO DO SOMETHING XBOX360 HAD AT LAUNCH! Damn i got my ps3 a month ago and now im regreting it. My brother got a 360 and now i jealous. I was really looking forward to FFXIII on the system i bought it for. Microsoft has probably gotten the markets of japan, and europe sealed now. Hopefully there is something that just blows my mind at your presentation.

Like the other SONY fans this is a pretty sad day for me. SO4 and The Last Remnant timed exclusive is already bad but… One of the main reasons i bought a playstation consoles it’s because FF games. You lost the exclusivity of a consoles seller, a title from the most bigger games franchise, what are you doing SONY?? =( Sometimes seems like you’re doing everything to loose the console war.
The only reason I bought PS3 was because my 360 got RROD, otherwise I would have never sold it……….

Well guys ,this is a sad day.
Its obvious that Microsoft is spending a lot of money to win , and that have been key.
They had more money to offer that anything that SCEI could offer, so its not a SONY
fault , MS had a lot of money and Squarenix wants money and western market.
We should thank that Mr Kojima even against the Konami CEO will ,released MGS4 as a

hex you are exactly right. SOny has been battling 360 for shooters. but wtf? real gamers like all the OTHER games like ffXIII. plus we all know gears 2 will completly own resistance 2 in sales and amount of play online. we all know it.

Microsoft lead them to do this. with HDDVD being the easy target Sony knew if they pushed all their resources they’ll forget the games. and focus on topping and beating HDDVD. Then there was the shooters. when did it become popular? when Sony saw it was “big” on 360 so they are doing what they do best: be arrogant and think that it’s cool to outdo other companies. So basically Sony LET Microsoft have their games.
To Sony: you better have guards or cancel 15th meeting at King Taco because it’s not going to be pretty.

Voozi you forgot that sony also won with Grand theft auto which sony also lost. its prett much over. all the ehavy hitters for sony are now multiplat BUT xbox has their exclusive heavy hitters like halo and gears. its over.

I have no doubt that you guys at Sony have something planned, it just needs to be good! Ideally somethng to get back at Square. Perhaps a deal to get Blizzard games on PS3? Or Mass Effect 2 only on PS3? Or both?! Something. The PS3 is great when it comes to action and shooters, theres no question, and its only going to get better. But it needs more RPGs. Sony, you guys need to have a big RPG annoucement tomorrow or sometime or this week. Make a deal with BLizzard, Annouce an RPG from NCSoft. Something!

Here’s the situation. MS doesn’t really have any first party AAA developers to anchor down the 360. So they use their pocket books to buy working AAA titles.
Another good question is…which this delay the release of FFIX? since they are doing development on two systems.

Yeah I feel sick to. FFXIII is like sacred. The whole main FF is sacred to gamers. It’s like it got raped or something going to microsoft. But that’s not going to stop me from buying the 360 version lol.
FXIII will sell the most on 360 obviously. Its a cheaper console now @$300. The only way sony could ever beat them this year is if they unveil a FFVII remake. Also announcing KH3 and FXIII versus (which probably will be on 360 also) to ps3. Man, Xbox in japan are gonna sell well.
