Why was Super Stardust HD 4.00 taken offline? When can we except to see that update back on?
Well I wouldn’t mind getting the next Qore, although I still haven’t been able to get into the Socom beta, so I’m not gonna get it until somethings happens with that.
Hey Jeff, when 2.40 first came out, the Super Stardust expansion was in the in-game store. …. I noticed now that it isn’t there anymore right as I was about to buy it today.

On Wednesday morning I had noticed that there was a second expansion within the stardust store but it got taken down. When’s the expansion officially hitting?
Does Qore have that multiple DL option too? I’m upgrading my HDD tomorrow and might want to re-download it.
It seems Sony is too busy stealing ideas from X360 (lol trophies) to put a half decent PS1 game on the store. It’s rather humorous watching Sony kick it’s own ass this generation what with the lack of games and support for both their handheld & console.
evilman279 – It happened sometime today. Now when you download it, it no longer prompts you for version 4.00. And the version from the Store is 3.00. I was hoping they would update the Store version but they didn’t.

another question that has been bugging me for a long time and it with the size of FW? now evertime i download a FW USB its about 120MB. Now what im woundering is does that eat at your harddrive? I mean even small updates are that huge when you download USB so i update ten time is that 1GB or does the PS3 search for like a certain packet withen the FW download and download only that part?

Nothing I like to do more than watch trailers I’ve seen posted on the internet weeks ago on my shiny “gaming” console. Thanks SCEA this update made me laugh out loud for what it’s worth!

Qore is basically just a combination of release advertisements, preview advertisements, and early releases of demos that are technically, well, advertisements. So I guess we’re paying for the nifty way you guys put all of those advertisements together? Good plan.
worse update ever, add to that the removal and failure of the 2.4 update…
disastrous week for sony gamers..psn and sony overall
a) Downloading new episodes of Qore when you have the annual subscription through the download list is clunky and just downright silly, not to mention poorly explained. I figure “it will automatically show up in your download list” meant that it would just automatically download every month. Find a new solution.
b) Make sure that there’s at least one demo out for free (and other good content) every time a new episode of Qore goes live so it doesn’t feel like such a slap in the face to people that don’t have Qore. Having a really sparse update + Qore gets people scared about what paying for content in Qore could lead to (read: Xbox Live). So assuage their fears a little bit.
c) Establish a regular time to update on Thursdays. This whole “keep ’em refreshing the blog every five minutes posting angry comments” thing isn’t working. Some days it comes out at like 5pm EST, sometimes it happens at like 9pm EST, and once, it didn’t come out until the next day. Yeah, it builds hype, but the wrong kind of hype. I’d like to be able to start big downloads like Qore and then go about my day so it’ll be ready when I get back. The way it is now, I have to wait around sometimes for hours with no indication whatsoever about when the update is coming. It’s just annoying.
d) You guys really need to start offering up some free music visualizations through the store. I’m so tired of the three there are.
e) Get your act together. Seriously. The PlayStation 3 is a fantastic console despite Sony’s efforts to give it a horrible image.

I know there will be a lot of questions about what’s going on with FW 2.40, but is really disappointing that you took it off the servers, and then say nothing about it, not even a date or a time, there are a lot of people already enjoying it, and for the people that is working and can’t get online until the evening are still waiting with not even a clue when is going to get out.
I really hope you could tell us something about the status of 2.4 please. I even paid my internet bill, so I could get it activated to download the update when I got home, for nothing :(…

Another crappy update, enjoying paying for demos guys.
Qoore download is a bit slow, I think it depends on your service provider and what type of highspeed internet you have as well. Plus remember this is High def stuff, so it will take more time than regular downloads. I’m at 20 % in about 5 mins so far. It could also depend on how busy the Sony servers are as well I think.
SONY any way that Qore can be easier to download? If I have to scroll down my download list to June of 2008 (the day I purchased the subscription) all the time to get the latest issue of Qore I’m going to have to scroll a lot by next year. Can it at least be put at the top of my download list each month at least? I’d rather be able to just go to the PS Store and click on Qore and download it from there, better yet have it auto download each month would be sweet.
I know people get sick of hearing this every week, but it needs to still be said. We need more PS1 games! You guys seriously need to arrange meetings with 3rd party publishers and work out some deals to get more of them released. I remember Kaz Harai at E3 2006 announcing the launch of downloadable PS1 games… you know, “Riiiiidge Racer” and we still only have a small handful of titles available.

Wow, whining is on sale today. For those not too fond on Qore, dont get it, no one’s forcing you to.
Dont panic about seeing exclusive content there that wont hit the psn store, the naruto demo will be up in 2 weeks for everyone else to download. Just a timed ‘exclusive’, dont pee your pants.
Subscribers gotta have the edge on that for shelling out the $2.99/$24.99, not rocket science i guess huh, jeez!

Comment to the person that asked if we love to pay for demos with Qore…..well, you know if you got the annual subscription, there was a game that cost about $10 that came with it for free. May not be the greatest game, but the $24 dollar fee was only 14 if you count that game. I like the contents that Qore provides and if you look at any magazine rack…..2.99 an issue is a really good price for a magazine. I’m not disappointed that I got it. If you don’t want it, don’t get it, but some of us do want the mag.
