u make a great point but sony is a pretty samrt company. They have won the console race since the ps1 because of planning, patience, and delivery.
Ya sony does run their mouth a lot and its bs but when they deliver its worth all the wait.
My only complaint is that they keep every firmware, psn updates in the dark until the last second.
Microsoft brings out a ton of info on all their updates.
I think the only developers we can stick by for the truth is insomniac and naughty dog. They never delay anything and give out tons of info about their products before release.
Jeez, why are so many people acting like immature children?
I’m sure there are people at SCEA who are just as frustrated that content isn’t up because they are busy working trying to get issue(s) resolved. Just be patient.
I don’t mind the wait so much as the silence from the usually pretty talkative Blog staff. A simple update on how much longer the wait will be would probably alleviate 90% of peoples problems.
Don’t get me wrong, I understand stuff doesn’t always go as planned…….. I really want this update though! HURRY PLEASE!

There’s this four-year-kid who gets to play Ratchet and Clank Future every Friday afternoon on my PS3, as long as he was good that week. He looks forward to it the entire week. I guess it’s kinda like how I look forward to PSN Thursday for a good chunk of the week, and now we’ve been let down. Now, I’m not complaining, and I don’t want them to take content that might crash our PS3’s and release it anyway, but still.

I don’t like the idea of Qore, actually it’s an alright idea except for the fact that the demos that Qore subscribers will get are demos that would have other wise been released for free, but Sony fingures they can charge people for them. Unless there’s something we’re not being told about how the exclusive demos will work, I don’t like where this is going.

That’s not a given. For each game, it’s entirely up to the developer/publisher whether or not to release a demo. You might see some demos on Qore for which otherwise the developer would have opted to not put out a demo at all.
This is a killer Store update! Rock on man! BTW: the demos are not being charged for anything noobies.
It’s only a plus that you get a demo (Early) Instead of when the US store gets updated, and the price tag is not per demo but per month of subscription to the service not the content it’s self.
So in all fairness your whineing is noobish and needs to stop. your not going to make Sony change their minds. Plus I don’t pay a thing and I still get demos, and cool game content just not early like those who pay for it will.
XBL had a simler scheme set up, not both sides get it the same day. So sit down shut up and enjoy some great Demos, and content for free! If this was Nintendo Wii Ware they would charge you for everything trust me.

Sometimes I wonder.. Does SONY not have the resources to do things RIGHT? Weak Updates.. Inconsistency.. Incompetence.. Dont get me wrong. I love my Ps3 and the games ive bought so far. But when it comes to Online services… i think we picked the wrong side to be on. I mean come on. Its been a YEAR AND A HALF here in the US. You would think things would improve but i havnt seen any improvement abd ive been around since day one. WHEN WILL THEY FINALLY DO THINGS RIGHT? You would think from all the suggestions and criticism from the actual users things might start to change. ARE WE NOT BEING HEARD? HELLO!! IS ANYONE OUT THERE!? Look, Sony at least needs to provide an answer about whether this will be coming out tonight at all. How far off are we? Are we still aiming to have it out within a few hours, or are we at the point where it won’t be up until tomorrow?
And if it’s really not going to be up until tomorrow, the PSN needs to rethink its weekly procedure. There needs to be a set time when this update happens each week. If something’s dragging things down, the PSN needs to suck it up, put up what they have, and put up the late content on Friday.

Actually that’s the kind of post we wish they would reply to with sometime substantial, instead you’ll get a very brief response, and someone asking someting less important will get an essay answer. It’s crazy the thought process going on over there at SCEA. They obviously are not about what the gamer wants but about what they want to give the gamer. That’s a big issue. If they know we want in game xmb do that first, not blu-ray updates and qore, get the stuff we want up first.
