Hmm ive downloaded and installed it from the US store (im in the EU). After installing and starting the game my receiver switches from DD to DTS and then….. nothing :(
Good update! Can’t wait to play the Uncharted demo! Also, it would be sweet if users could somehow upload themes to the PS store.
i downloaded the damned demo 2 times already from the US store, and each time i launch it it tells me to insert the game disc… what the hell guys, come on test this crap before you upload it!

Cool, but the themes look like someone in kindergarten made them. So now its pink theme, rainbow, and hearts theme.

re: Themes
The three themes that Japan has are also on the store even though they’re not mentioned here. I haven’t checked them out yet, but considering they’re free, I’m not complaining (like others).
If you think you can do better, Sony at least lets you make them yourself instead of charging for them like a certain “other” console.
Lots of other EU gamers are having problems with the Uncharted demo! It lets you download install and start the game but after that it keeps black. PS button does work but ending game is followed by a long wait time and 3 beeps. PS3 completely restarts.
i guess there is something wrong with the demo….

Argh! Europe is the gaming industries [DELETED]. Our PS store is worthless, we get stuff like weeks later and now the demo’s dont even work anymore from the US store?

@65 Violater, i dont think its a region lock. The game just completely freezes, and the ps3 reboots itself when going back to the xmb.

I’d just like to say after playing the uncharted demo for about 2 hours now, that if it wasn’t for Naughtydog and Insomniac for R&C… I’d drop the line all together. Uncharted saved you, Sony. You should be thankful that you can release shoddy updates, delay games and keep not giving us what we really want… cause you have 2 of the best developers making games exclusive for you. Naughtydog, your game kicks major sack, man. I loved it!

WHY LOCK IT SONY? WHY?
You give us scraps in the European store, we had hardly any games for months with only demos from the US store keeping us going then you REGION LOCK your games there?
Is this a blu ray player or a games machine? We want games. Launch this demo on the European store NOW or you wont have much of a fanbase left

Can I ask why you decided to enforce a region on Uncharted?
I’ve noticed that the demos of Def Jam Icon and Tiger Woods 2008 also both were enforcing a region and couldn’t be played on other consoles than the American.
i played Def Jam demo on my Japanese PS3, don’t think Uncharted is locked, just messed up..
The American version of the Def Jam Icon demo didn’t play on my European PS3.
the demo is locked for only us PSN.

I must say I’m disappointed…I’ve waited for the demo like a five year old for Christmas and some bug…well let’s call it that (region lock ?) doesn’t allow, us, Europeans, to play the demo. Why ? It would only make more buyers for the game…people would be happy.
