As most of you know, last Wednesday we announced a new exclusive game development deal with NCSoft, the company behind big MMO games like Lineage and City of Heroes. We’ve been getting a lot of questions about it and thought you might be interested in checking out this interview our friends at Global Gaming League and Epileptic Gaming did with NCSoft’s President of North America.

Its REALY nice to get some feedback,keep it up.
Nexgenwars isnt reliable at all it says that over 11 million 360’s have been sold…dumb site, the only reliable site is vgchartz, they have real numbers.
For those wanting to see a cool PSP that Japan, Europe, and North America will never get, click on the link. Wish this was an actual model that came out of the box.

@Loucifer
lol my bad man… you have my sincerest apologize for claiming that your a MS fan…
also did anyone watch the MS press conference (chances are no but still)… the reason i bring this up, and i have it recorded, is that they said that no games on any other next gen. platfom have hit the top ten list…
did i miss something? i thought WII Sports made it on that list at least a dozen times and i know for a fact that resistance: fall of man was on the 10 ten games for december and january…
WTF would they say something like that…
@330
“I don’t really care if MGS goes to the 360 (all previous versions went to xbox)”
The only MGS game that came out for the Xbox was Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance and it had flaws, also xbox gamers rejected it. Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance also came out for the PS2 with extras and was a better version.
I really don’t want the Xbox 360 to get MGS4 (or any other MGS), they just want to brag about how they snatched another Playstation exclusive. They don’t really care about the MGS series.
@ Demon
I agree 100% bro.
@ DAVE KARRAKER

@TMadd
I agree at least someone can communicate with us.
I still want news on the closed beta though. July, August, are emails sent out? Is the site homebetatrial.com only for Europe? Sigh so many questions…
hey now i play Guild Wars and City of heroes and indeed demos would be nice
:-0
oh and just so u know
GG2 =Girls Game 2
I know alot of people who like guild a wars. So its nice to hear sony reaching out to those gamers. Also NCSoft might make a new ip which could be good. Sony and NCsoft with a new ip watch out!
I really like what you guys are doing with PSN. I think that this NCsoft deal is huge and it will definately make PSN a unique service. However, I would like to see more PS1 games on the PS store. There are so many PS1 games that you guys could put atleast 1 up every week, either that or 1 original PSN game a month. I just think you guys need to make your weekly updates “meatier”. Japan already has a ton of PS1 games, why don’t you guys bring some of those our way? Here are some of the most sought after PS1 games:
Final Fantasy VII
Metal Gear Solid
Resident Evil 2
Chrono Cross
Final Fantasy VIII
Resident Evil 3: Nemesis
Tekken 3
Resident Evil: Director’s Cut
Final Fantasy IX
Dino Crisis
Xenogears
Syphon Filter 2
Parappa the Rappa
Soul Blade
Those are just the most popular ones. I would just like to simply see MORE of any PS1 games on the NA PS store. Next week is the 20th anneversay of the Metal Gear franchise, so I think it would be GREAT if you guys could get the original MGS up for download on PSN to celebrate Metal Gear’s 20th anniversay. I think it would also be a great idea if you do somthing similar when Final Fantasy has their 20th anniversay in September (like putting FFVII on PSN).
I might also suggest that you guys get in touch with Sega and try to get some Genesis/Saturn games up for download on PSN. It would also be absolutley HUGE if you guys were able to get Sega to put Sega Dreamcast games up on PSN. I remember hearing that you guys were considering it earlier, well consider it, because it is a great idea. Here is to hoping PSN becomes and amzing and unique service.
Cool, i cant wait to see what NCsoft games will come out.
i would absolutely love having guild wars 2 or guild wars on my ps3. Not only would i buy it for my computer but i would also buy it for my ps3.
@ Devilwillcry
The only problem I see them having with the bigger games ie. FFVII and FFVIII or FFIX is the game file would be so big it wouldn’t fit on the majority of psp memory sticks atm, that’s not to say people couldn’t upgrade, but most people do just have a 1gig at best if not lower, some have 2gig-4gig-8gig etc, but most have 1gig or less, I think now that the memory sticks are cheaper, Sony may think it’s a good idea to process some of the larger psone games, I for one would love to see those games on the PSN, but my wife won’t let me buy them to support them because I already own the hardcopies, even though I’d love to play them on my psp… I am really looking forward to buying Wild Arms and Armored Core from the NA PSN soon, they’re already in Japan’s PSN along with 12 other recently released ps1 titles, I have owned both hard copies in the past, but had sold one to a collector that made an offer I couldn’t refuse, and the other I had a funeral for after my 3 year old got a hold of it… :( was a sad day. so I’m allowed to buy them two for sure.
Oh, please Sony… I never asked you for much before… Please…
Say we’re getting Auto Assault…
…Please? ^-^;;
