“Showcasing our characters to as many fans as possible, in the coolest ways possible, are some of the reasons they are so beloved. In that spirit, we’re excited that our Spider Heroes, their friends, and their Super Villains are coming to PC in the critically acclaimed Marvel’s Spider-Man 2,” says Eric Monacelli, Executive Producer for Marvel Games. “Collaborating with Insomniac Games and PlayStation produced a timeless Super Hero video game classic that, thanks to Nixxes and the support of all teams involved, players can now experience on PC with thrilling enhanced features.”

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is a continuation of our Peter Parker and Miles Morales story featuring iconic foes such as Venom and Kraven, as well as many returning favorites. We introduced all-new abilities and traversal options such as Symbiote Surge and Web Wings, and we’ve also expanded Marvel’s New York with new boroughs and side missions to explore. While we have no additional story content planned for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, we’re delighted to bring all of our previously released post-launch content to the PC version, including New Game+, new suits and color variants, Photo Mode features, and more.
We’re also delighted to announce that the Fly N’ Fresh Suit Pack, our charity collab with non-profit Gameheads, will be available for PS5 players in October and PC on launch at no additional cost.

In the year since launching Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on PlayStation 5, the game has received critical acclaim, numerous awards and nominations, and praise from fans all around the world. For us, it’s an honor to see players around the world share their love for our original take on Spider-Man and continue to share their favorite moments as they experience the game the first, second, and third time.

“Our amazing partners at Nixxes have once again done an incredible job bringing the world of Marvel’s Spider-Man to PC players,” says Mike Fitzgerald, Core Technology Director at Insomniac. “Our team put a lot of love into this game, and we’re excited that it will soon be enjoyed by a whole new audience with keyboard and mouse controls, ultra widescreen support, and numerous graphical options that make it feel at home on their platform.”

As we approach the PC launch of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, we want to thank players for their support of our games and studio, especially amid Insomniac Games’ 30th anniversary celebrations. Together, we’ve flown to distant realms, explored galaxies, discovered new dimensions, and saved entire cities. Our players have been a key constant throughout three decades, so on behalf of Insomniac Games…. thank you!

  • Take a look at the home page people This PC,until dawn PC,Horizon PC what exactly is coming to PS5 ? Sad people are still interested in a pro glad my plus is up next month I won’t be renewing it I’ll buy my Sony games used after a month or so and my third party on PC I’ve been done with this brand this generation after what ? 20 years hope you enjoy your new fanbase Sony

    • I cancelled my PS Plus as soon as they jacked up the price by 35%. It’s a complete scam now, I suggest going PC+ Nintendo going forward. Sony clearly doesn’t want us gaming on PlayStation anymore.

  • Imagine you go in McDonald’s for a shake they tell you you have to wait and it’s going to be an hour…You look across the road to the Burger King and see the McDonald’s staff handing out shakes to Burger King customers you also see KFC staff handing out chicken to Burger King customers…your shake finally comes but they refuse to give you it until you pay extra for the cup…noticing Burger King customers got the same shake without paying for the cup you ask them why you have to pay this charge they say because you are a McDonald’s loyal customer…

  • Sony, why d3lete my comment? I wasn’t even rude. All I said was Spider-Man 2 is heavily lacking in content compared to Spider-Man 2018. That’s unacceptable for a game with literally 3x the budget….And that was BEFORE SM2018 received robust DLC. I enjoyed Spider-Man 2 but cmon, there are so many loose ends and fans have been eagerly awaiting a DLC announcement. At the 1 year anniversary, we expect DLC news not PC port news that does nothing for PS5 owners and people who already bought the game, very tone deaf 🙁 P.S – announcing a PC port of one of your only exclusives 2 weeks before the PS5 Pro releases is doubly tone deaf….

God of War 2018 to GoW Ragnarok was a huge step up in terms of content and a great example to follow, I was expecting the same for Spider-Man 2 but you guys took a huge step backwards, oh well. Please don’t make the same mistake for Spider-Man 3 and please don’t try to sell us piecemealed games for full price as was presented in the l3aks….

      3060 (ti y normal), 3070 (ti y normal) 3080 (ti y normal) 3090 (ti y normal).

      6800 (xt y normal), 6900 (xt, 50xt y normal).

      4070 (ti, super, ti super y normal), 4080 (super y normal), 4090.

Peor que eso creo que sale mejor jugarlo en PS5, mínimo algo similar o mejor que PS5.

  • Aight where the F is last of us part 2 on pc

  • I am the only one who thinks this is a bit of a mixed message?
Spiderman 2 still has bugs on the PS5.
While here on the *Playstation* blog, they’re telling us about how we can buy it on PC.

    I don’t get it.

  • No pc ports at all .buy a playstation

  • Those PC gamers are in for a treat!
    Lucky devils.

Maybe also release on the Xbox too.
I mean, it’s about time we ALL experienced the games on all platforms.

I’m don’t an Xbox. Just think we all should have access to all games.

    One system. One love.

  • Why do you delete my comment? I will say it again, Sony has become a finical-driven company, it only serves to its executives and financial reports and never listens to its users. There is no reason to get a PS5PRO or PS6 in the future when Sony dosent respect to its console users. The only way to save Sony is if Kazuo Hirai returns.

    • My comment has also been deleted. I thought free speech and criticism is allowed. Obviously not…

Whatever. Sony and their studios will see how their recent decisions affect them in the future. It’s the first time I seriously thinking of buying a gaming PC instead of a PS5 Pro or future console. It’s sad how this ended up.

PS: Kaz was the man. <3 Along with Kutaragi Ken and Yoshida Shūhei. Legends. <3

  • “Our players have been a key constant throughout three decades, so on behalf of Insomniac Games…. thank you!”

We thank you by cancelling all DLC plans for Spiderman 2
