(For Southeast Asia) Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.6 reveals a new area in Herta Space Station on Dec 27

Greetings, Trailblazers! Once again, we’re thrilled to share the latest information about the Honkai: Star Rail’s upcoming update! Version 1.6, “Crown of the Mundane and Divine,” will bring a brand-new area, Herta Space Station: Seclusion Zone, which used to be sealed but now becomes explorable after Madam Ruan Mei conducted groundbreaking biological science experiments and asked for Trailblazer’s assistance. At the same time, Madam Ruan Mei, Dr. Ratio, and Xueyi will join as playable characters for the very first time, along with the return of the infamous but popular Stellaron Hunters — Blade and Kafka.

Revisit Herta Space Station: a journey filled with fierce enemies and cute pets

Upon resolving the crisis at Fyxestroll Garden, the Trailblazer is set to revisit Herta Space Station, marking the first encounter with Madam Ruan Mei. During the clone cultivation process, Madam Ruan Mei stumbled upon a peculiar anomaly—— a Swarm King prototype of Swarm Disaster. Stemming from an incident during the experiment, the creation of the “Borehole Planet’s Old Crater” manifested within the Seclusion Zone of Herta Space Station, where the Trailblazers weigh in and look for a solution.

The Simulated Universe is about to get even more exciting with the latest DLC: Gold and Gears! To be specific, Ruan Mei has crafted a simulated Nous and frozen space-time just before the tragic demise of member 27—Emperor Rubert. This new update introduces the Path of Erudition and boldly explores the concept of separating dice from paths. These dice feature six slots designed for equipping various Dice Face effects. Through the accumulation of Trailblaze Secrets, players can unlock an array of additional Dice Face effects, enhancing the gaming experience!

To boost the space station’s research developments, Trailblazer has also been assigned an important mission: nurture and care for the newly arrived little lifeforms. In the Critter Pick Scavenging event, the Trailblazer can choose nurturing goals according to the manual and learn cultivation specifics to raise a variety of delightful little creatures! Of course, more gameplay enhancements, such as the implementation of Pure Fiction, expanded stages with Forgotten Hall, and many other convenient updates will also be embedded via version 1.6. Debuts of new characters and return of familiar faces

Three exciting new playable characters are set to join the roster: Madam Ruan Mei, Dr. Ratio, and Xueyi. Additionally, our familiar friends Blade and Kafka will be making a return during this update.

Ruan Mei is a 5-star Ice-Type character following the Path of Harmony, and member #81 of the Genius Society. From the very beginning, her research has been focused on the field of biology. Despite being one of the founders of the Simulated Universe, she seldom steps up to the plate. Her Skill, String Sings Slow Swirls, can increase all allies’ DMG and Weakness Break efficiency. Ruan Mei has a knack for exploiting an enemy’s Weakness, allowing allies to deal additional Break Damage when breaking enemies’ Weaknesses, thus making her an exceptional support character for any team.

Another scholar, Dr. Ratio, is debuting as a 5-star Imaginary-Type character on the Path of the Hunt, associated with a distinct Nous-worshiping organization — the Intelligentsia Guild. While the Genius Society operates with individual vanguards across various fields in solitary pursuits, the Intelligentsia Guild champions the widespread dissemination of knowledge, encompassing diverse followers of Nous dedicated to advancing this cause. As a dedicated academic researcher, Dr. Ratio meticulously observes the enemy’s debuffs during combat. The greater the number of debuffs an enemy accumulates, the higher the likelihood of Dr. Ratio launching a potent follow-up attack. Specifically, when a target with Wiseman’s Folly is attacked by an ally of Dr. Ratio, he launches his Talent’s follow-up attack against that target!

A friendly reminder: when version 1.6’s “Panta Rhei” event warp becomes available, every Trailblazer has the opportunity to get Dr. Ratio for free. I guess he cannot wait to join your roaster, showcasing his intelligence to help your intergalactic journey.

Last but not least, Xueyi. She is a 4-star Quantum-Type character following the Path of Destruction, whose original body was substituted long ago with a permanent puppet system. This unique system was specifically engineered for Xueyi by the Ten-Lords Commission. Their accord stipulated that for each perpetrator Xueyi apprehended, she would earn a half day’s wake-span—a measure of recognition for her efforts. Similar to her sister Hanya, Xueyi exerts a commanding presence on the battlefield. Her Ultimate ability, ‘Divine Castigation,’ inflicts Quantum damage upon a single target while inducing Toughness depletion, irrespective of Weakness Types. The degree of Toughness depleted directly influences the magnitude of damage unleashed!
