  • Two games of no real significance and a game yet another EA Play game that you can routinely buy for 12 dollars. Yeeeeeah I knew last month was a fluke.

  • Okay 👌

  • I’m planning to sub to Extra for 30 days on September 5, so I can claim the August Essential games, and the next day I can claim the September games, and on October 4 I can claim the October games. That will work, right? Of course I won’t be able to play the October games with my subscription expiring the next day, but that’s fine, I’ll wait till next time (and they might not interest me anyway). I own all the consoles and just trying to get that bang for buck while splitting my time between them!

Last time I subscribed I got through Ghost of Tsushima, Death Stranding and Stray in the 30 days. This time I hope to smash out THPS 1+2, Deathloop, Miles Morales and Rayman Legends… wish me luck.

  • PLEASE Sony PLEASE for the love of Dart, release The Legend of Dragoon for PS1 for ps+ premium users, I beg u.

  • Extra is banging this month, Deathloop, Chicory, and Spiritfarer are games i am really interested in
Premium is okay i guess, i still wish we could download PS3 games on PS5 :(

  • Sony should really bring back black ops for the PS4 PS5 remastered

  • Isn’t PSP version of Toy Story 3 inferior to the PS3 version?

  • Wondering when dead island will return to the service if ever. Honestly why did they remove so many titles again? I forgot.

  • I really wish there was more of a focus on PS1 games like I thought there would be, but I’m not surprised. PlayStation for whatever reason gave up supporting their legacy a long time ago.

  • Once again, very lean pickings for non-streaming PS Deluxe territories. Most prominent being Syphon Filter 2 after two previous months of nothing.

Heaven forbid you’d commit resources into bringing across the older Sly Raccoon games via ps2 emulation & be played natively or even port the ps3 HD versions into actual ps4/5 ones when you can just whack the ps3 ones on the streaming servers. But a Sly Raccoon collect the gold coins mobile game will be a sure fire hit, right?🙄🤔

Likewise,I shouldn’t get my hopes up you bring the ps2 Ratchet & Clank games, God of War etc.,across either!

If as Herman Hulst claimed the other day that Sony is still committed to PS gamers & single player games, how about you prove it with an actual classic games library rather than the poor, slow offerings made so far rather than buying mobile game devs?

Or ask us the classic games we’d like to see? Suikoden 1 & 2,Dino Crisis 1 & 2, RE 2 & 3,Alundra, Adventures of Lomax, the Colony Wars games, Maximo 1 & 2, Ratchet & Clank ps2 series,GOW 1 & 2,are just a few off the top of my head!
Why should we invest in PS Deluxe when you’re clearly not committing resources into the advertised classic games library?

    • I couldn’t have said it better myself homie. They’re lazy and do nothing but scam people for their money. In the UK they’re potentially being sued for overcharging over 9 million people. So it’s not like they don’t have they money. They’re just lazy

  • Sony doing excellent job for putting effort on monthly games subscription. Excited to play them. Well done 👍

  • What a great month! Next we need the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection added to classics!

  • Why is the Sly collection considered only Premium? Shouldn’t it be the Extra content as well since it’s ps3? Isn’t Extra ps5,ps4,ps3 content whereas Premium is just adding ps1,ps2 and psp content?

  • Can we get some of the GTA stories games in the classics catalog? I’d love to see GTA Liberty City Stories and Vice City stories on there one day.

  • Essential games are a joke.
One game that’s been on EA PLAY for a long while and two that are…what exactly? Indie/niche.

    Do better.

The extra games are a little better. Deathloop especially. The others. Are they all PS5 updated? Nope. Why bother.

  • The Daxter PSP game (critical and commercial success) would be an excellent choice and opportunity for this service. Hope to see that soon, really soon…

  • The premium tier is lacking again sadly if they dont add some of the true classic they have from the ps1 and 2 era I’m gonna have to drop down to the extra tier extra catalog is super sweet but all my classics from childhood I really wanna replay that was the entire reason I’m paying 20 a month are still nowhere to be found

  • Definitely NOT regretting my upgrade from basic PS+! I have so much to play!!

  • Listen, people. Be grateful that you are getting something. Keep your expectations low and you won’t be disappointed in the next fun months and be open-minded and give these games a try. So many great games here and yet you pretend Game Pass is 100% perfect because people are pure bootlickers to Xbox now because they gave them games that won’t even load at Day 1 (I Am Fish and Surgeon Simulator 2).

    • Thanks for the direction. You convinced me. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Do NOT tell people to listen. We don’t know you. We don’t care about you. We all have our own opinion and that’s that. Don’t enforce your own on to others because you don’t agree.

      Now move on.

    • I’m grateful. But I don’t think anyone cares honestly. I agree that there are great games here. Can’t really complain to be honest. Just would love to see games that my mom use to play. Rest her soul.

    • No, people like game pass because they don’t scam us. Because they don’t pull games just to re add them and show it off like they did something good for people. It’s scummy and to defend it by saying “keep your expectations low” is just as bad as praising them for adding games that were already on. This is Not a good line up. It’s lack luster and lazy. They gave us 0 classic games last month, but xbox add games every month and most of the time it’s games that people haven’t played. That’s why people praise game pass, because it’s good and they listen to their fans. Sony don’t and they scam their users

  • Hey Sony please listen up I’m gonna need GTA Liberty City stories, GTA Vice City stories, GTA Chinatown wars, The Metal Gear Solid HD collection, Daxter, The Getaway, Def Jam Fight for NY.

  • This month is stacked, let’s go!

    Bravo, PlayStation. 💪🏻

  • Please please please please please please add and1 streetball & the nfs underground collection to the classics future line up PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE THANK YOU LOVE YOU.

  • come on sony do not let the playstation fans down we need a showcase it your job to get us hype for playstation we need a hour event psvr2 a no for me but we need to see wot coming out for the nxt whole year the last state of play was really good can you bring down the hammer again on a big showcase

  • The sly Cooper games are good. I agree that you should make the highest tier more appealing.
It’s lacks psp,ps1 and ps2 games. People who are premium are probably going to start downgrading if this continues..

  • Mediocre for Essential, but at least I don’t own them… Bad idea to combine all tiers in a single post.

  • So 3rd month in a row I won’t be downloading a “free” game. I’m not upgrading to any other tier Sony. I already played 90% of the “big” “AAA” “Popular” games. I sold my PS1 longggggg time ago, never had PSP,PS2 long gone also,PS3 was traded in to get Darth Vader PS4(still have) so I don’t care about older games.

  • Garbage as always

  • I’m pretty sure I know the answer but gonna ask anyways. Are the ps3 games still streamable only?
Anything different from when it was on psnow before, pulled and then brought back?

  • This month of September ps plus games looks good, hoping to see fatal frame maiden of the black water for the month of October.

  • I’m not pleased that ps droped 2k when I signed up for premium it was for this game and 1 other bolth are now droped and.. it never stated that the game was a trial and no warning that it was going to stop was on one day the next you want 60$ for it???? Not happy 😒 for sure will not be renewing service aswell wish I could get refunded for my remaining time not worth it for selection

  • I would love to see Heavenly Sword, Portal and Portal 2 remastered for PS5 and given for free on the Premium PS Plus.

  • and i bet we’re STILL not going to be getting demon’s souls in the classics section for ps4 this month.

and you guys at sony still will not put the * next to the title on the playstation website to indicate that, yes, it IS one of the games that fall into the “*Availability of games vary by country/region. Please check the PlayStation Plus hub on your console to see the full list of titles available in your country/region.” category.

  • Pro skater was a very subjective game, not much to do in it, not even open world like skate, so very few people appreciated that, now need for speed heat????? An old version of a game they pump out year after year changing 3 cars that have been put out, AND I BOUGHT IT ON PLAYSTATION PLUS DISCOUNT FOR LIKE £3 months and months ago… sad tbh, Sony is huge they need to be putting in more effort, if they chased ea and managed to get skate 1,2&3 on PlayStation plus for a month or even extra or premium, the PlayStation world would go nuts, a game we can’t play unless we get a ps3 as it never came out on ps4 either and isnt buyable on the store, that would change everyone’s mind or any other well thought out game that isn’t years old and pointless, It takes about a day to complete need for speed heat and get all the cars so I don’t think anyones gonna be happy

  • CHOOSE BETTER GAMES IF THESE GAMES KEEP BEING BORING I WILL BREAK MY PS5 and get a series x

    • isn’t that childish? just stop giving them money every month n wait for price drops on sony exclusives since thats really the only reason to own a ps5 over a series x or gaming pc . breaking a decent peice of hardware would be a shame… alternatively flip it , better to sell it to someone in a country that got a price hike at that

  • The two higher tiers seem great but essential got trash sorry to whoever likes these games but I’d consider xbox soon if that’s what the bottom tier is going to look like

  • Need for speed hasn’t been great since the ps2. And another fighting game that is ok not great just ok like sony give us a reason to stay I’ve seen the xbox gamepass and I’d soon get those then the games your giving like seriously bring some good game for your fans it’s like being a washington commanders fan

  • Today is 6 September 2022 and I don’t have games of the month on my account PlayStation Plus Essential

  • Really disappointed in the releases the last couple of months.

  • naa not an enticing month to make me resub

  • so the ps plus extra games are coming out on the 20th of september

  • Granblue Fantasy: Versus isn’t available as a “free” PS+ game in the NZ region. It’s not listed on the store, and the link takes us to last months Tony Hawks 1+2

  • and still no demon’s souls…

*snirk* actually, this is a double whammy month! no demon’s souls for ps+ classic AND toem is NOT included in the monthly free games! i just checked and it’s just granblue fantasy versus and NFS Heat.

    • Demon’s Souls is available in premium pack in asia (countries with streaming of course). With that in mind – do not expect DeS in other regions, it would’ve been available by now.

  • its 10 september i have ps plus extra but i cant download assasins creed ezio collection anyone can helpp ??

  • After around 8 years of annual PS Plus subscriptions and literally hundreds of absolutely horrible selections of free monthly games I’m not renewing my subscription. I have over 150 indie games from PSPlus I’ll never download or play & the additional benefits aren’t that great either. Multi-player games do not interest me, not to mention Sony even removed PSVR titles so the service needs more than PS1 games to be worth the $140 yearly total my 4 family members currently are spending.

On top of this Sony desperately needs to find a better way for families to enjoy PSPlus without (using my family as a reference) 4 people having to pay for 4 separate PSPlus subscriptions when they all live together cuz Console Sharing does not suffice.

My son & I have each others console as primaries (my PS5 is sharing his library, his PS5 is sharing my library) and this keeps brothers from accessing any digital games from the libraries we own. We need a better solution to this before my family members renew any PSPlus subscriptions & others should too.

Are there any plans for PSPlus to include newly released titles (like GamePass has since it’s inception afaik)? Not likely I bet so I think it’s time for me to retire from console games in favor of PC gaming for the foreseeable future.

    Unhappy Playstation Owner
    John

    • Game pass can also have goofy moments like this it just seems that higher ups don’t understand how to negotiate/get good games on ps5 or Xbox I think console gaming is just heading down and down

  • Where is the value in the Premium subscription, where are the promised PSP games?
God of War: Chains of Olympus, God of War: Ghost of Sparta?! – Other Sony first party exclusives!?
Don’t treat old PS 1/2/3/PSP games like they where new and dripp-feeding them to us adding only a hand full a month, release larger batches of classic games.
Why isn’t something like the $10 PS5 Legacy of Thieves Collection upgrade (PS5 versions) included in PS+ Extra?
Maybe give us some Destiny 2 content on the service considering that Sony bought Bungie…
Also i see what you are doing with adding games that where prviously on PS Now and/or PS+ titles that where given out years ago like Reyman Legends.

Don’t be so cheap Sony you got steep competition! Do something for your loyal fans, your players. 😀

  • I must say, Toem is a very beautiful and cute game, the concept is very clever and is a mashup of animal crossing and Mario oddessey.

  • What? Kya Dark Lineage PlayStation 2!
    Like PlayStation Plus Premium!!

  • add the DARK SOULS collection into ps plus

    • INCLUDING the ps+ classic launch title, ps3 version of demon’s souls for ps4!

they STILL haven’t added it to all regions while also not adding a * to the title on the playstation website.

if it’s not available in ALL regions (which it isn’t), it should have that * next to it indicating that.

  • lol FALLOUT 76 IS ON PS+!

    oh goodness…

i’m not touching that tier of jank incarnate.
