Gran Turismo 7: An update from Polyphony Digital

Details on player experience improvements, upcoming patches.

Dear Gran Turismo Community,

Thank you for your continued support and feedback on Gran Turismo 7, your voices have not gone unheard. I would like to apologize for the frustration and confusion caused last week with our patch updates which resulted in, not only a server outage but also adjustments to the in-game economy which were made without a clear explanation to our community.

We know that this is not the Gran Turismo experience you expect and we will be making a goodwill gesture in the form of a non-paid credit pack of 1 million Cr. available to those players who may have been affected*. You will see this hit your accounts shortly. Make sure you log into the game before April 25 to claim the credits.

The patch update previously deployed was intended to rectify an issue with inconsistent reward payouts within a part of the World Circuit Events.  But, to re-establish the intended equilibrium and provide more accurate rewards based on time investment and completion, it was necessary to recalculate the rewards system as a whole.

To improve the player experience, we will be rolling out a considerable patch in the beginning of April.  The number of events will be increased, and we will reestablish the reward system with greater balance throughout the game to benefit all players.

Updates which will come into effect beginning of April:

  • Increase rewards in the events in the latter half of the World Circuits by approximately 100% on average.
  • Addition of high rewards for clearing the Circuit Experience in all Gold/All Bronze results.
  • Increase of rewards in Online Races.
  • Include a total of eight new one-hour Endurance Race events to Missions. These will also have higher reward settings.
  • Increase the upper limit of non-paid credits in player wallets from 20M Cr. to 100M Cr.
  • Increase the quantity of Used and Legend cars on offer at any given time.

Beyond this there will be a few additional patches deployed between now and the end of April which will add new cars and course layouts and make some other fixes.

Finally, we also want to take the opportunity to lay out some of the near-term updates we are working on. We can’t confirm an exact date or specifics yet, but will give advance notice via www.gran-turismo.com.

  • Increase the payout value of limited time rewards as we develop as a live service.
  • Further World Circuit event additions.
  • Addition of Endurance Races to Missions including 24-hour races.
  • Addition of Online Time Trials and awarding of rewards according to the player’s difference with the top ranked time.
  • Make it so cars can be sold.

We want to thank you for your continued patience and valuable feedback as we grow and evolve GT7 to make it as enjoyable and rewarding for as many players as possible.  We always want to keep communication lines open with our community so that we can work together to build the best racing experience possible.

*Limit 1 per person. Must own a digital or physical copy of GT7 for PS4 or PS5 prior to the publication of this post  (Friday, 25 March at 1:00am PST)  and log into Gran Turismo 7 between Friday, March 25 at 5:00pm JST/8:00am GMT/ 1:00am PDT and Monday, April 25 at 5:00pm JST/8:00am GMT/ 1:00am PDT to receive the free credit pack.

  • I’ve been playing GT since the first release, how about bringing back some of the legacy cars from past games. I bought my digital copy just before the outage and had to wait to use it, it really needs an offline mode that you can test and tune cars if you can’t compete.

  • Great, now remove the always online requirement.

  • Thank you so much for an incredible
game and for the gift of credits.

For your upcoming updates could you please add the Isle of Man as a location that can be inputted for the Sport/online racing?

You know we exist, as you have Mark Higgins’ 2016 Subaru in the game.

GT7 focuses on the history of cars and so I’m sure you’re aware of how the TT Races began with cars and the Gordon Bennett Trophy, yet we don’t exist in the game!

We are not a part of England, Ireland, Scotland or Wales (for which you have real detail for specific locations) and so it would be nice to be recognised as a location and maybe even have our own flag 🇮🇲 to race under in the livery options.

Thanks for listening and keep up the amazing work with the game!

  • Shame we all had to scream at the top of our lungs for fixes to be put into place. And shame that it’ll be a wait to be able to sell cars. I’ll reinstall the game once that feature has been added.

Hoping PD also doesn’t skimp on the online rewards increase. Online takes so long to get into a race, that the rewards for them really should be worth that wait.

Happy to hear the used car lot and legends will have a higher quantity of cars. It needs it.

Car invitations still need to go however. That will never not feel scummy with the option to buy credits outright in place. Let that idea go. It’s stupid in the real world, which means it’s far stupider here in a video game.

  • It takes a lit of courage and shows how much Kazunori cares about making everyone happy with this game. Its impossible to accomplish that!

I think that he deserves a big fat “THANK YOU” and his team as well for tirelessly working on and improving this game!

We can all agree that we need to give him and his team some time and be patient while they are working out some of the details that we adress in our community and respect the fact that he and his team at Polyphony are trying to make this the best experience for everyone who acquired a copy of GT7!

    THANK YOU KAZ!!! 😎👌

  • What about Lobby? Any update?

  • Please remove the always online requirements. It’s frustrating to experience being kicked from the single player experience when all I’m here for is the single player experience.

I didn’t realize at the time of preordering a physical copy that GT7 would require what is essentially DRM. Had I known at the time I would have skipped this purchase all together. That part is on me but don’t let that excuse your company from better practices.

  • Awesome to see you guys changing things back around. I’ll probably be hoping back in sometime soon after the update.

  • Dear Sony and Polyphony. The underrated Driveclub should’ve been your template for a racing game. Then added the GT flavor of sim racing.

  • What’s next? Betraying the fanbase established across 25+ years by releasing GT7 on PC as well? Just to further stab us in the back and show us how little we mean anymore? All the while advertising how much better the game is versus PS5?

I suppose if there is a small saving grace for the stabbed fanbase, it is that PC games get cracked very quickly, so the zero spending gamers have to make on first party games will make up for PC costs and you won’t get any third party game sales commission as your install base simply don’t see the value of the ecosystem anymore.

    • Games should be in every platform, that’s not the point here.

And don’t talk about fanbase when you’re just advocating for your selfish self.

    • No, they shouldn’t. Not unless one believes the only future should be PC gaming, in which case PS should just shut down right now. They won’t survive as a new Sega.

And don’t talk about gaming being monopolised when you’re just advocating complete rubbish for your pathetic worthless self.

    • Welp, tough life for you, because games are going multiplatform and there’s nothing you can do about it.

      Cope.

  • Sorry, but this is not good enough… doubling rewards in the ‘latter half’ of the world circuit doesn’t solve the fundamental issue: you’ve implemented this game the same way a free to play title would be implemented:
    1) Heavily relying on micro transactions to fund the title.
    2) Offering some content for very limited time periods.
    3) Making sure the grind is painful enough to push a lot of players towards spending real world money.
    4) Forcing players to be connected to your servers to make sure they didn’t somehow bypass your micro transactions.

All of this is fine when the base game is free, the issue here is, this isn’t a free to play title, this is premium priced $70 next-gen title from Sony for the PS5. So when everything about the game screams free to play business model, but you’re still charging us $70, then sorry, but it is not acceptable and people have a reason to be unhappy with GT7.

To fix the game, you need to stop treating it like a free to play title and start treating it like a full price $70 game, which means:
    1) Allowing the single player campaign to be played completely OFFLINE without your servers. Nothing in GT7 should require online connectivity other than the multiplayer portion of the game.
    2) It should be easy to earn any vehicle in the game without a crazy amount of grinding. No one bought this game to experience what it’s like not to be able to afford the cars they want. To put it another way, I strongly disagree with Kazunori Yamauchi’s statement that the rarity of cars should be linked with their real world prices. The whole point of Gran Turismo is to allow us to experience these high-end vehicles and that statement clearly shows how out of touch they are with their customers.
    3) There is nothing wrong with selling DLC cars or credits, but keep it fair for your players. There is no reason a DLC car should be costing more than $7 for the most expensive vehicles. That is more than fair enough for your bank account while not taking advantage of your players.

Nothing posted in this blog has done anything to change my opinion on the game. They’ve created a free to play title but still want to charge $70 for it. This is exactly the kind of predatory business model you’d expect from a company like Electronic Arts.

I’m going to be real here Sony, you’ve built up a lot of good will with your players over the last few years by not screwing them over when they buy your games. When people bought God of War, there wasn’t a single micro transaction in sight. Believe me, people notice this kind of thing and that’s why your have a strong following today. Fix this game before you lose all that good will you’ve acquired.

  • I’ll never understand how playing a game is “a grind”, especially this one. GT encourages you to race and get better at racing and actually rewards you for placing higher in races as well as driving clean. There is absolutely no reason to buy credits with money unless there is an extremely rare car that you just have to have for whatever reason that will only be available for a limited time. Rare cars should in fact be rare. If everyone can pay $2-5 dollars for the most rare cars in the game, that actually takes away from the collection aspect of the game as well as the rarity of the cars. I’ve owned every Gran Turismo game and I remember a time where the only way to get cars was to race and earn them.

  • This is great to see that y’all listened to your fans! It definitely seems like a huge step in the right direction, so we should keep our hopes up and be patient! Thanks Polyphony, my confidence in you has been restored.

  • Nevertheless, PD going back to full strength GT is great as long as the gap to future GT’s can be somehow reduced. Nice to have more than one per generation, they are wonderful staples of PS gaming.

  • Received, appreciated and forgiven

  • Single player requiring your servers still needs addressing, much bigger problem long term than the in game economy.

No one will be able play the game once the servers are shut down forever.. it will happen one day, and then GT7 will be bricked.

At least consider making the server side open source when it comes to end of life so others can play, or just simply remove the online requirement…

  • I’d like to see a more immersive pit lane. Why aren’t I seeing other cars enter and exit, why aren’t I seeing my own car until the actual pit stop happens.

  • Until I can play offline (i.e. without the need for a constant internet connection) I won’t be buying this.

I want to make sure that I can play this for as long as I want to play it and whenever I want to play it, whether or not the internet is down, servers are being maintained, etc.

I have every GT game and this pains me. Do better.

  • That’s nice but when can I see the credits I was promised from preorder still waiting on them imagine paying $95 for the game and not getting the worth of the $70 game

  • While I appreciate the gesture of the credits, your explanation of the payout cut doesn’t make sense. I understand that some races were too easy to farm so they needed to pay less but many of theses races were unlocked later in the game and now they pay so little compared to the other races in the same series. Plus, you still haven’t addressed the issue of the raffle tickets giving bad rewards. I just had a 4 star raffle ticket this morning give me only 5000 credits, which is ridiculous for that kind of ticket. I do hope you will fix that soon

  • Already returned my copy to gamestop about a week ago for $30 in store credit because losing $40 dollars is less of a slap in the face than losing $70. Side note, the other two people in line with me that day were also trading in their copies too which was kind of funny. Ironically, I used the credit to buy the expansion pass to mario kart.

So I went from wanting to experience the most realistic racing sim available on console to throwing turtle shells on tracks with piranha plants because that sounds like a more fun and enjoyable experience.

I was on the fence about trading it in because I figured Sony would back pedal due to all the bad PR and try to make the experience better and change some things.

Ultimately, I decided to return it because I’m just a casual racing game fan. Even with these concessions made, in its current state, in my opinion it still has to many hurdles for me to justify playing it over other better games currently out. I have owned every playstation console, but I haven’t bought every installment in the GT franchise. The ones that I have over the years I have enjoyed.

I had heard such good things about this one from review outlets that is why I decided to pick it up. I installed it on my console, but I was still playing through my backlog so I hadn’t gotten a chance to start GT yet. Then I started seeing/reading about all the players frustrations.

Utilizing a flagship franchise that’s been around since PS1 to push microtransactions and make the game grindy to the point where a casual racing game fan (like myself) who would play maybe an hour or two after work would need to play for a month or more to unlock one of the best cars in the game doesn’t sound appealing. It sounds like an annoyance which is by design because otherwise how else could I be compelled to buy in game currency to expedite my progression.

I bought this game for $70 knowing i probably wouldn’t be able to play it for months because I like to support quality games/developers and I figured GT7 would be a pretty safe bet since it’s exclusive to playstation with a long history and great track record (pun intended).

I’m sure I’m not the only one who’ll now hesitate on buying a playstation exclusive due to the dishonesty shown here by not allowing review outlets to mention the microtransactions side they didn’t go live before launch. I’m sure that would have affected the scoring the title received or at least would have warned players before buying this.

I’ll keep an eye on this game’s development. Pending the decisions they make, if it makes it to the playstation greatest hits collection I may pick up a used copy and give it a try (if the servers are still up at that point and the game isn’t unplayable). Until then, thank you Sony for reminding me that no company is immune to making short sighted cash grabs at the expense of one of their longest running IPs.

  • Thanks for the Adjustments!
But please remove DRM, always online. This is a single-player game and if the servers go down the game is useless. We need our $70 to matter.
Please bring back the glory days, please. I still want my GT7 to have some replay value when the servers go offline. If another issue happens at least we have access to the game and can continue to play it.

  • I’m sure most reasonable people can accept that server outages happen from time to time, but locking the majority of the single player content behind a constant server connection is unacceptable. Many fans are left with a sour taste in their mouth and I have personally lost faith in the series, but this can be remedied – not with acknowledgement, but with action.

Priorities aside, it would also be nice to see a ‘Performance RT’ display mode in the game, offering ray tracing at a lower resolution (perhaps 1440p) during gameplay.

  • “It takes 20 years to build a reputation and five minutes to ruin it. If you think about that, you’ll do things differently.” – Warren Buffett

  • 1 mill, thats it for now. Im still very unhappy with the game, i have spent more than 1.000 dollars during my life on gran turismo, i was going to buy a ps4 version in disc form and ps5 disc form like usual for me :) , but for now i bought the cheapest version only for ps4 digital. And i think thats the last money gran turismo will see from me, and its a good thing i bought the cheapest version. Alot needs to change for me to start playing this awful game, the racing is good, but that grind, reallyyy???

  • “As we develop as a live service.” If I knew the single player content of this game was tied to a live service model, I never would have bought it. The big issue for me is the utter control over single-player content. I didn’t pay $75 to lease a game. I should own the single player content. My faith in Polyphony is gone.

  • The main thing I’d like to see is offline mode because I should have to rely on servers to enjoy games I bought. I wish I would have known this game was always online so I could have saved my money. Sad because this was my favorite GT so far in terms of gameplay.

    • Agreed. The disclaimer on the front is a very misleading lie. “Internet required for most functionality” gives the impression that there is content to be enjoyed offline. Clearly not the case here.

  • While i understand micro transactions aren’t a new business model, the way that GT7 has chosen to use them is incredibly appalling and an absolute slap in the face to your customers. $40 for 1 car is an inexcusable level of greed the likes of which ive never seen. In the future with any Sony game going forward, i WILL NOT purchase any game on it’s release date again. I will wait to see the full money grab plan incorporated into your games. If this continues in this manner, i will simply take my business to another platform. It’s as simple as that for me. I refuse to be duped by another gaming company in the Sony family. I hope you take this seriously as i cant imagine im the only one who feels this way. There is a line that you have crossed that most gamers will not take lightly. You have been warned.

  • I still want my money back. Do a return policy like CD Projekt RED did for Cyber Punk.

  • Gran Turismo is dead to me, your DRM pratice is not a thing you should place on a 70€ game, before the patch and your little maintenance, I tried to turn off the internet and check what I could in game, I was shocked! We can’t do anything at all! Who cares about Arcade and Rally Music?! Why can’t I access my cars? Why can’t I visit the cars history and all the other modes? NEVER AGAIN!
After this I sold my game for 50€ and bought another game.
And I want to blame Playstation for this too, you guys can control which game we can or not play when we don’t have internet?!
Lets go back, XBOX announce their console would have DRM, you guys counter attack saying PS4 would’t have, and everyone claped their hands at you, SHAME!

    • “Lets go back, XBOX announce their console would have DRM, you guys counter attack saying PS4 would’t have”

And to this day Xbox STILL hasn’t gotten back to the current Xbox Live Gold subscription numbers they peaked at on May 21st 2013.

THAT should be the biggest thing that any company takes away from when you completely screw up a good thing you had going.

  • I quit playing after the credit nerf. But this is good enough to get back to it. Looking forward to a tidy garage. Thank you PD.

  • Sorry, the trust is gone. Doing something to screw over players and then walking it back when it becomes clear that they’re not standing for it is not something to be praised.

  • If love for upgrades of the liberty editor to allow selecting a number of decals and grouping then so they can be moved and resized and colored together as if they were a single decal. This way shapes can be combined into more complex shapes and then edited as one new shape. Similar to the way Forza horizon 5 has done it but better because this is a better game.
BTW, thanks for including transparency of decals. Could is be possible to make the decals accept the special paint colors we buy for our liveries so there is better continuity in the designs we can create?
Thanks for all the hard work you are doing to make a great game even better. My wife and daughter love the game as much as I do but for different aspects of it.

  • playing a race over and over to gain a nerfed amount of credits is not with this game was about in the first place so I’m not sure what you’re going on about with your post you’re not fixing the patch that screwed up the economy and said you’re doubling down on it basically even if you did increase payouts by 100% they’d still be half of what they were a week ago. mark my words this will be the last GT game I ever buy it’ll probably be the last Sony game I ever buy this system and the games availability have been a complete disappointment every game relies on a micro transaction system now which in essence would make a game cost thousands of dollars I just don’t have that type of money or time I’ll go enjoy the real world you guys can play nfts a microtransactions and take the whole gaming World down with you!

  • Since we’re already here –

    • Add an option to where players can buy parts online, or a simple buy screen like in GT6
    • Ability to change course/track in an online lobby without backing out entirely
    •Test drive cars

  • Sorry but this is not enough, stop the always online scheme, single player content should, not, must be OFFLINE, and the microtransaction is plain outregious

  • That is a step in a good direction !
As a GT fan since the 1st, i would’ve enjoyed a less linear campaign !

Im not a fan of having my hand held and guided for the entirety of the game, completing cafe card !

I also would’ve appreciate if not all the races in campaign were “Rolling Start”, with “Boost”. The dynamic of always having to chase cars that are slow, and in the way gets frustratingly old. If some races were real races, with consistent Ai, it would add to the variety !

Always Online for a single player game is ridiculous ! It took you 3 weeks to show the world why its a bad idea and you deserve your Metacritic score until fixed !

Yes, my last sentence is harsh but I expect better from you and im happy the community does as well !

  • I say, “To little to late”! This (after the fact) back peddling doesn’t give me faith to repurchase the game. I was fortunate to have seen/heard about the shady happenings in the game B4 I opened my copy of GT7. I purchased it through Amazon & was able to return it for a full refund. I was 1 of the lucky ones. P.S. A Note to the Community. = ‘Please stop Pre-ordering!”

    • GT games I have always loved. Even if they didn’t get the best reviews and have always loved them. I had never went wrong pre-ordering them in the past because GT has always been my favourite game.

I never thought I’d say this but I regret preordering the anniversary edition of this game and will not be buying them again in the future. These mobile game tactics and greed from Polyphony and Sony is a huge slap in the face to long time fans. Engine swaps and expiring invites to buy expensive cars locked behind loot boxes and low payout races has turned me off the franchise forever. I only wish I could refund my copy.

  • Not even going to consider buying unless the game is fully functional offline and the rest of the big issues are elevated. My condolences to anyone who bought this game digitally and can’t refund it due to Sony’s outdated store policies.

  • I’m sorry Polyphony but this is not enough. You’ve lost me. I’ve purchased every GT game and GT is the main reason I buy PlayStations in the first place. This million dollar hush money is not enough to not call out your greed. You have engine swaps locked by a random loot box roulette wheel which is heavily weighted to give you the smallest payouts and rewards. Not the mention the time gated invites to buy cars. Why the free mobile game tactics on a game I payed $130 for? This is a step in the right direction but not enough. Funny how GT 6 had more cars worth 20 million dollars but was quicker to get all the 20 million dollar cars in that game than it is to get just one 20 million dollar car in GT 7. You say you want realistic pricing yet you charge a million dollars for Nitrous upgrades. How real is that? Pre-patch you had races which didn’t even pay out enough to buy tires.

I’m disappointed with you and the game. Your greed has lost a huge fan. I’m sorry, that’s just how I feel.

  • You’ve heard voices, but not the message.

    1) Ability to sell cars is not present, which is something past games have had. I’m surprised trading cars isn’t a new feature here either.

    2) turning a blind eye to always online here. Polyphony isn’t EA with SimCity (which did not fair well) or Ubisoft with their trash can live service titles. Your a Sony PlayStation Studio. Act like it. Always online for a game like GT7 is dispicable behavior. To be quite honest with you, I’m beginning to wonder if Evolution should have been kept instead of Polyphony. We never had these issues with Drive Club, a title that deserved a second chance. Though many of us have room in our catelog for both games, the burden is on Polyphony to carry their tiny legacy forward in a responsible way. Even DC wasn’t always online. FIX THIS PROBLEM!

    3) Telling your community that you balanced the game in a rather stupid way, the lazy way, then decided that the amount of turmoil and headache was worth it. Shows a very real misplacement of the communities trust in not just sony, but polyphony. A studio that represented the gold standard for racing on PlayStation and for many the industry at large. You are still the game to beat for Turn 10, even if they produce a better game, they will be looking at polyphony. This was a grand responsibility and you fumbled the ball so hard that you shook the stadium with the amount of displeased outcry. So bad that JRPG forums hear about your blunder.

    4) Offering a million credits won’t fix the long term issues.

Next time you decide to patch your game, I expect polyphony to be more responsible about it. If the games balancing wasn’t right, then you should have left the game broken to the benefit of the player and possibly delayed the games release if it was that big of a deal. Now you have a soured image of the title. Hurt not only Polypony’s image, but sony’s as well. Your butt needs to be taking a very low bow to your community, to the other studios you’re a family with, and to anyone with in your studio who is now saying “I told you so”.

    • Well said. They are getting way too cocky and they have to be told by people that show passion for the series and other PS Studios.

All they have to do is look at our PSN accounts and how they interact with GT7 and its servers and they know right well then that we are the people they should be listening to.

  • I still can not as of 4:00 PM eastern play my game how can I get it back going again?

  • Now get rid of the always online nonsense and put in actual grid start racing (rolling or stopped ) and I will pick it up.

  • Hey there,

When I was 12, I moved to a new country where I didn’t speak the language. Feeling alone and isolated, I turned to Gran Turismo 3 to pass the time and give me something to do. I recall playing 4 hour+ endurance events with none of the insight required to change my tyres. I loved those nights. I’m looking forward to buying GT7 but I can’t do it until the following issues are addressed:

    – Single Player content should be available offline. To be honest, I have no intention of playing it online. So me being shackled to this requirement makes no sense. I’m sure there are millions of players and would be players who similarly are content to play by themselves of local couch co op.
    – Get rid of Microtransactions. That or make it so that no car cost more than $5 in real world money. It’s supposed to be a ‘micro’ transaction. Cars being available to buy for $30+ is not ‘micro’ in any sense. By the time you could purchase 10 cars, you would have paid more than the price of the game. Also, no one asked you to make this game a live service. You decided to do that, but your fanbase doesn’t want that. So it’s not right for you to force huge, unreasonable micro transactions on us when we didn’t ask for it.
    – Make car prices cheaper. Listen, I know you want an element of dynamism and realism but the truth is, people just want to oggle, race and collect cars. It’s the fantasy of being able to do in game what only people like Jay Leno can do in real life. I don’t want to treat this like a part time job just to be able to collect all legendary cars. I don’t want to have to put in 500+ hours to unlock everything. I do want to play. I do want to put in 100 hours or so, but then that should get me 98% or more of the items and upgrades in the game.
    – If you add future content, make that available as DLC. And again, for a cheap and accessible price.

Should these issues be meaningfully addressed, I’d be happy to jump on board and relive the glory of GT3. I want to know that another kid, who might be displaced in another location, could play GT7 as I did back then. Because online isn’t always guaranteed. Because time isn’t always promised. Because money isn’t always easy to come by. Because the love and passion for the game, that comes from feeling no friction between you and the drive.

    Kindly,
    Emmanuel.

  • I love how you tried to rip us off as much as you can and not your taking it back because you got slapped with bad reviews. As a fan from GT1 and PS1 Sony exclusive use to be #1 now they’re just becoming average. Bought a ps5 day 1 and have only bought spiderman and this and I regret buy GT7 imagine spending hours trying to get a couple cars. You guys think living is free or should I put in working hours to get one car??? Wack

  • Give me a single-player OFFLINE GT7, remove all online DRM nonsense.

  • Well you tried greed on Max setting that didn’t work. Haven’t bothered with the game since. Nice work! So I should listen and trust you now that you’re player base has dropped off? Got it. Thanks but no thanks. Will not buy gt ever again. Soon we will be able to sue companies that change the product that the customer has already purchased. It’s called false advertising. Shame on you people

  • So i went to sign on Gt7 when i got off of work yesterday just find that my Collector level reset back to Level 1, I was on Level 39 All of my credits were gone all of my cars gone all my license gone i had all gold in eveything I put so many hrs into the game but when i check granturismo website im still a level 39 i still have my super license and all! im so confused and angry with the launch of this game this is ridiculous

  • That’s great news but until the mandatory internet connection problem is fixed, this is still just a useless plastic disc I’m stuck with. I haven’t been able to play the game at all because I don’t have access to internet in my home. I bought this game because it was marketed as a return to the classic, offline, single player experience and now I feel like I’ve been fooled into paying for something I cannot use at all.
