  • Does this apply to PS5 via back compat or just exclusively PS4?

    • Now that Sony owns Evo can we please get a new PlayStation All Stars or fighting game equivalent published by Sony?

  • Danganmaster2001

Where’s Smash Bros Ultimate it has always been a huge part of Evo you can’t just cut it.

    • I know right, but i believe because this news is about also playing and competing with your PS4, that SMASH cant be on this one that are being promoted. No SMASH on PS4. I believe SMASH will be ok on regular EVO.

    • Lol with it’s terrible online. No way. It was already cut last year probably due to the same reason.

    • Haha, it was there alright, a “huge part” though? Not even close. 😅

    • 100% agree, but since Sony owns EVO, and since Nintendo was already kind of EVO-hostile in years past, I can’t imagine either company being too eager to cooperate for the sake of an FGC tournament, even if it is the big one

  • No Australia at these tournaments?

  • -Strive- is on the list! Guess I got to dust off the PS4 for that. I’ll need to get some practice in on Skullgirls and Gundam if i’m going to try to play them too. Not even going to try Dragonball at this point, i’m just too far behind and i’ve gotten progressively worse lol. Haven’t played Under Night in a while. That’s just too many games for me. Yeah sad no Power Ranger even though I was going to get destroyed in that anyway lol.

  • So will Street Fighter 6 be announced at EVO?

  • Would be nice if we could enter these tournaments on PS5…

    • You can what are you talking about?

    • How? I was signed up for the previous SC6 tournaments and I couldn’t join them from PS5. I couldn’t even see them anywhere. Are you assuming they are joinable because of the games are playable or because you’ve actually joined them on PS5?
