  • Absolute joke… This year has been abysmal for PS Now. And this month on Plus we get 2 PS Now games… And on Now we get an old PS Plus game. Excellent choices Sony. Sub cancelled.

    • Honestly probably there with you. After I check out Streets of Rage 4 I’ll probably cancel my Now subscription. I understand Plus & Now aren’t available in all regions but they’re both available in mine, and the fact they’re continually sharing games is becoming insulting at this point.

    • I have PS Now and I also have a PS5.

I understand that the PS Now servers can only stream PS4 games, but if a person chooses to download a game they should get the best version available. I really want to play Nioh but I am disappointed to see that it won’t be Nioh Remastered for PS5. Square Enix’s games that were recently included with PS Plus and PS Now, Marvels Avengers and FFVIIR did not get the upgrade either.

PS5 owners are early adopters and are invested in the PlayStation ecosystem and naturally want to experience the superior performance that their PS5 offers. So I would like to suggest that if a game is included with PS Now and it has a PS5 version, please allow players to download that better version. Thank you! :)

While I have crapped on Now for months…I have to be human and not bias when they actually have a good month. All 3 of these are good. Especially Streets of Rage 4, which I own digital ps4 & switch and physical ps4. It’s that damn good to be good enough on it’s own. I own Jump Force on another system

    • I posted the same thing on on Plus post. Merge both subs already, the constant swap of same game between each is annoying.

    • Nioh is one of the best games of the generation, but I don’t see why anyone wants PS now when you get great free games with PS+ and could just buy a few games that you really want in the sale.

    • iamtylerdurden1

PS+ in May was the best month for me, in years.

I dabble with services like PSNow, but I don’t rely on them. I almost bought Wreckfest numerous times and to get the enhanced PS5 edition is spectacular.

Does PSNow have the PS5 enhanced edition of Wreckfest like PS+? BFV isn’t on PSNow. Obviously there will be some overlap, it’s life, but for me, PS+ was great in May. Truly great. So please, stop with the PS+ nonsense because May’s lineup was more than acceptable.

As far as this is concerned, Streets of Rage 4 is a great get, Jump force is a big game, but Nioh was on Plus back in the day. It’s not a terrible PSNow lineup but obviously it’s nowhere near as good as last month with BL3 and Avengers.

  • Very happy with SoR4 being added but seriously with so many quality games out why is it necessary to keep double dipping between PS+ & Now. It’s a slap in the face to people subscribed to both services.

  • Helps

  • KratosRisesAgain

Jesus Christ Sony! You are so out of touch! I know it is first world problems but only 3 games? With 2 of them timed to less than a year?!
Just admit it that PS Now is a failed service and you want to scrap it like you did with the Vita!!
If you do have big plans for the service, just let the paying users know what it is!!!

  • I’m a bit miffed that the only permanent game is a PS+ game from 18 months ago, but no use crying about it I guess.

Looking forward to trying Streets of Rage, I haven’t heard anything good about Jump Force so I’m not touching that.

  • Please don’t overlap PS Plus and PS Now additions. It’s very disappointing when you get titles already available on either service. Thanks for streets of rage 4 though, try to improve the selections for next month

    • I agree with this.

Or, if you are going to overlap, then increase the number of games. Up until about 2 years ago, there were at least 10 new games added to PS Now each month. If you’re going to give 1 or 2 games that were previously offered on PS Plus, then in addition) introduce at least three new games that were not previously offered on either PS Plus or PS Now.

Also, please consider updating the service more than once per month. If you update on a weekly or biweekly basis, then it gives more incentive for people to check back frequently to see “what’s new”.

I’m definitely looking forward to playing Streets of Rage 4. That is a game that I had been hoping would reach PS Now.

  • Also Evil Within out of nowhere is leaving tomorrow…. Ridiculous.

    • Evil Within 2… The first left without warning.

    • That’s unfortunate. I had those in my list but wanted to complete a few things before I started them. Thought I had time since there was no indication it was leaving. Unfortunately it’s likely a decision by Microsoft and out of Sony’s control.

    • trittfest_baton

Has something to do with Bethesda now being part of Xbox? Wolfenstein II The New Colossus also left suddenly

  • Nice, big like!

Has something to do with Bethesda now being part of Xbox? Wolfenstein II The New Colossus also left suddenly

  • Is PS Now coming to Mexico soon? I will love this service in my country. Bring the dowloadable games first, its a great service for PS4 and PS5 users.

  • Nice! And when will you remember to put Brazil on the list of countries where PlayStation Now works?

  • I know I’m probably alone on this, but I kinda like these games this month. They are games I probably wouldn’t buy. I hate when they give “ newer “ games like last months borderlands 3
It’s cool to try games not on my radar not get games I already have

  • With the closing of the PS3 Store last month (then reversal of that decision), I thought it would be a perfect time to add more PS3 games to PS Now, but I guess Sony doesn’t agree…

  • 99.9% people who have PS NOW have. pS Plus. NIOH Was FREE for PS PLUS so again featuring games you already gave us. It just gets worse every month. I’m surprised you don’t Feature Rachet and Clank or Horizon Zero Down or Fortnite or Warzone…. pitiful….

    • 1. Nioh being on PS+ a while back doesn’t mean all current PS+ subs have Nioh. If you weren’t a PS+ sub for that month, you don’t have access to Nioh today.
      2. Nobody is forcing you to sub to both services. Do you complain when Netflix and Amazon Prime have the same movies or TV shows?
      3. PS Now has a lot of PC users that do not own a PS console. They would not need to have a PS+ account as online play is free on PS Now. So your 99.9% number is clearly false.

  • CaptainHamtardo

Stop putting Plus games on Now! Seriously, you can’t have that many people subscribed to Now that don’t also have Plus. This feels like a super lame ploy to give up less games at this point, tbh. It’s almost constant. We’re also getting Stranded Deep on Plus this month, after just having it on Now until like a month ago. Weak.

  • Already own Nioh and SoR4, but I’ll try out Jump Force.

  • singhisking00911

Ace games this month guys! Can’t wait to try them out

  • They ain’t even trying anymore

  • Hope they add streets of rage 4 to ps plus the dlc is coming this later this year that would be great.

  • tbh these aren’t great games but i’ll gladly take jump force on ps now

  • This is lame.

  • So you realize most of us have been stuck home with nothing to play and this is what you give us? sub cancelled.

  • My disappointment lies in tne fact that MLB The Show 2021 was given on Xbox Games Pass on launch day for no additional cost, but on the first available month they don’t add it to their streaming service!? I understand that it was a call made by MLB but how does it make any sense that i can play it on Games Pass and not on PS Plus.

    This is ridiculous

    • They won’t add it to PS+ or PS Now because they know it will sell well & don’t want to lose out of that revenue.

Most of Sony’s revenue comes from game/console sales so they can’t afford to lose that revenue as lower game sales just mean less money to invest back into the first party studios.

Microsoft don’t have that problem as they not only have a significantly larger budget anyway but also have many other divisions making money that they can invest in deals to get games on Game pass (Which still isn’t making a profit BTW).

  • Would be nice to add both ps plus and now together for a cheaper price. At the same time the service needs to improve 100% more newer games are wanted that are top notch im sure everyone pays attention to game pass and the games they are getting.

  • w1ck3daguilar951

bring back the 89 iroc on grand turismo sport

  • Sony is on the way to it’s destruction, first there is no restock, next announcing old games to its subscription services.

  • I would test the games, but I only get an error message. “Something went wrong”.

  • I bought Nioh complete edition for 12€ and i don’t regret at all! ^_^

  • Absolute joke keeping my money from now on..oldntired games no one wants to play was tired of them on ps2 why would we be interested now…waste.of time

  • Most of the games from the beginning of the year were pretty bad, but Nioh is a really nice addition for those who don’t use PS Plus.
One question.. why aren’t the games uploaded yet?

  • The main character of Nioh is at no point of the game a Samurai. 😜

  • Please merge the subscription services. Gamepass is looking so good in comparison right now.

  • panth3rkill3r_85

Hey sony team this is my comment on playstation blog.
Just wanted to request you to add cricket 19. Will make the PS NOW audience happy.

  • Wow, I’d just like be able to download ALL games that are on PS Now. I can’t stream anything where I am.

  • luctornonmergor

I see a lot of negativity toward PS Now from longtime subscribers who seem to lack perspective. It’s important to understand there are millions of new users in the ecosystem: “the PlayStation 5 has sold 7.8 million units as of March 31, 2021. In comparison, the PS4 sold 7.6 million in that same time period.” It’s also important to understand that while the PS consoles have sold over 120 million units, only a small percentage of those users are Now subscribers: “The PlaySation Now subscription service has surpassed 2.2 million users as of the end of April 2020, according to a presentation from Sony president and CEO Kenichiro Yoshida. According to the report, the number of PS Now subscribers has more than doubled in the last year thanks to updated pricing strategies and expansion of the available catalog of AAA games.”

AAA PS exclusive titles like Nioh (Metacritic 88/83) are exactly what entices these new users to the Now service. I understand if you’ve been a Now/Plus subscriber for years, you may have already played most of the games that interested you, or got them from Plus, or bought them on your own. The fact remains there are hundreds of hours of Metacritic 80-100 gameplay available for $5/mo: it’s a very appealing value proposition for new users, especially those who didn’t own a PS3.

I think it’s very natural for a player to outgrow PS Now: you have it for a couple/few years, you play everything that interests you, and you’re left judging its value purely on which titles are added each month. If they’re only adding titles you already own or never wanted to play, there’s no value for you anymore. Perfectly natural; go buy a new release title. But for anyone who is new to PlayStation, or wants to play multiple games in the Now catalog, it’s still a tremendous value.

    • Nioh isn’t a PS exclusive though.

Also, though Nioh is actually a very good game, I’d entirely avoid using a certain site’s scores as a basis of something being remotely good (or bad).

  • Deeply regret putting any money into PS Now. I feel ripped off every month. I wouldn’t have paid a single cent towards this trash service had I known “PS5 support” essentially meant playing the PS4 versions of old games, even the ones that have had free PS5 updates. PC support is even more of a joke. No one on PC is going to want to STREAM the PS4 version of a game at 1080p over real PC ports that are actually available. I have a PS5 and a gaming PC, and there isn’t a single PS5 or PC version of any game available to play. Utterly useless to me. It’s like Sony trying to avoid being remotely competitive versus GamePass. There is so much potential such as if I could play the PC version of Horizon and try out some PS5 versions of games I might be on the fence about purchasing. Nope, PS4 only. They still have Horizon prominently featured in the advertising of PS Now when the game is currently FREE via the Play at Home campaign. Brilliant…pay a monthly fee for something they later decide to give away free.

  • Great games, Sony.

  • Please put hannah Montana the movie video game on ps now library ps3

  • Add disney hannah montana the movie video game ps3 to the ps now library

  • I am so tired of waiting for the PS5! I am 73 yrs old and think I will probably be dead by the time I can get one! Plus I think the creeps buying up all the systems and putting them up for exorbitant amounts of money have soured my to the point that I am done with Playstation. Plus, why is it so hard to get new 3D platform games for the PS4 and beyond? I have a subscription to PSN but getting ready to cancel since there is so little available that I don’t already played or have! I am now exploring XBox options….
