Share of the Week: Zoomed In

We take a closer look at our favorite games.

Last week, we asked you zoom in a little closer to capture intense details using #PSShare #PSBlog. From portraits so close you can see their pores to textures on vehicles, here are this week’s highlights:

Justinphotomode shared this zoomed in portrait of Kratos in God of War.

Photoingame closes in on the eye of Jesse Faden in Control.

Philt43_Yewone moved closer to capture this fast paced shot from Wipeout Omega Collection.

Pj179 captured the gaze of Sam Bridges in Death Stranding.

Yuric83 zoomed in on the Man…bat from Batman Arkham Knight.

Sefwick zoomed in on the textured lights of this car from Gran Turismo Sport.

  • Wonderful pictures!

How about we celebrate the Days Gone anniversary, by ensuring fans there’s a sequel on the way?

  • Can we get a action based rpg first party game? Similar to jrpgs with up to four playable characters. I don’t like shooting games, so these are the only type of games I like. Ghost of Tsushima I think is the only first party game I like.

  • If more people showed their support & purchased “DAYS GONE” @ full price on the day of release, but a lot of people passed on it because of the bad reviews online. Gamers waited until it was on sale (or free on PS Plus), & really enjoyed it. I wish, “SONY” would take a chance again on “BEND STUDIO”, because I believe “DAYS GONE 2” has the potential to be one the top selling PlayStation games of all time. #Playstation #BendStudio #DaysGone2

    • People really gotta start making up their own mind instead of going after Metacritic. They are missing so many great games. I bought Days Gone on release april 26 2019 and got the platinum trophy two weeks later. Awesome ride :)

    • It probably wasn’t just the bad reviews, but that the game just didn’t really look very interesting.

Riding around an open world aimlessly fighting zombies as a boring bearded man isn’t going to be everyone’s idea of entertainment. It was kind of a PS3 thing. Years later, not many people really cared.

Maybe a demo would have helped.

  • When can we have some competitions for EU players???

  • Pretty much what I got from this is that eyelashes in games still look really terrible…

  • What’s going on with ea play?

  • Amazing shots especially Kratos
Is there a way to integrate blogs to the ps5 and the app?
I believe this will replace communities to some extent
I think this will enable more engagement between the players
