  • Wow, GTAV is in THIRD place!
Do people really buy that game, I wonder, or are the sales getting inflated by something? It’s been top of the list for years, and that’s just not believable.

    • Part of me thinks they are counting currency sales over a certain amount as another full game sale.. these numbers make 0 sense

    • And Minecraft is perennially at or near the top of the lists, and it’s 10+ years old.

This doesn’t say anything about SALES – it’s downloads. Get a new console, that’s a download. Don’t know what it does for DLC or patches, if those count or not.

    • I bought it week ago just because my ps is new

    • feistfan, I recently learned there was a Banjo Kazooie skin pack on the PlayStation version of Minecraft so I bought it for that as I’m huge fan of the bear and bird. I will never play minecraft just wanted to add it to the collection.

  • Great to see It Takes Two and Disco Elysium place so high after coming out towards the end of the month. I see a lot of people bought Little Nightmares as well after the sequel did so well. Interesting to see F13 back in the top 20 in both US and EU too

  • The lack of functionality remains an issue with this store. Ever since the PS5 launch the shopping experience has been severely downgraded.

I am starting to question the competence of the decision makers at the helm of this company.

    Man, I miss Shawn Layden…

    • Yeah the new story is a mess. No way to find new add-ons, no filter options really, no pictures and videos on the webstore. PlayStation isn’t listening to us fans anymore.

  • What about PS3, Vita and all the old-system games. You didn’t care about them, did you?

    • No one does. Get over it.

    • @Nixie_Knox
Just because you don’t, doesn’t mean thousands of other players don’t. I care A LOT about those. And spent more money on them in the recent years than on PS4 titles.

    • Jim Ryan is killing PlayStation. So many bad decisions the past year I’m actually considering switching to PC or Xbox after being with PlayStation since the PSone…

  • Make an official PS.Blog post announcing the closure of legacy PlayStation Store services for PlayStation Portable, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita, including PSOne Classics, PS2 Classics, and PlayStation minis content.

Own up to this company’s direction and be upfront with your erstwhile community regarding this severely anti-consumer, anti-developer, and anti-legacy decision with no disclosed plans for decades of experiences beyond the insufficient premise of PlayStation Now rotation.

We deserve to know beyond a one-off e-mail, and Sony deserves direct feedback from its providers.

    • I’m miffed at the shut down too but can you stop posting this? Sony have let everyone know clearly via direct communication that they are closing old stores, and it’s been covered extensively in the media. Making a post on every single article here makes no difference and just distracts away from the blog itself.

    • @bedhead1
Too bad, let them speak, if you don’t like it just ignore it.

  • So It Takes Two is only on PS5, not on PS4?

    • It’s on both but yeah I find it odd that it only charted on PS5 and not PS4. Given that buying one gives you both I wonder how that is factored in on the store charts.

  • Fortnite is on top and I wish every game is for free

  • Bring back the superior old PS web store, the new one is literally useless. Also don’t close the PS3, PSP, Vita Store’s. Listen to what the consumers want. So many anti-consumer decisions lately from Sony, literally every week I’m hearing something new lately. Every week I loose more hope in PlayStation. I do hope things change cause I don’t want it to come down to switching to Xbox or PC after being with PlayStation since the PSone..

  • I want to suggest some more games being free for Play at Home which my choices are Jump Force, My Hero One’s Justice 1 & 2, Mortal Kombat XL should be free for all PS4 and PS5 users either May Or June of this year without PS Plus and please have most DLC for free not just full games being free

  • Dear Mr. Elston,

I’ve been purchasing games from the Play Station Store for quite some time. However, I was wondering if you could do PS Store users a big favor. Would it please be possible to offer or upload several PS One games on the PS Store (US or UK)?

I’m extremely interested in downloading the following games:

    • Silent Hill: Origins (PSP)
    • Silent Hill: Shattered Memories (PSP)
    • Sega Mega Drive Classics(PSP)
    • Apocalypse (PS One Classic)
    • MedEvil 2 (PS One Classic)
    • Cheesy (PS One Classic)
    • Croc: Legend of the Gobbos (PS One Classic)
    • Earthworm Jim 2 (PS One Classic)

I’d be immensely and eternally grateful if you could please accommodate my request.

    Yours Faithfully :),
