Skate confidently with gnarly next-gen upgrades

Skate in super crisp 120 FPS at 1080P or 60 FPS in native 4K. Watch the levels come to life using sharper dynamic shadows, reflections, and lens flare, plus enhanced skater textures.

The PS5 enhancements don’t stop at audio and visual upgrades, either. Major features include:

  • SSD & Immediacy
  • Haptic feedback via the DualSense wireless controller
  • Spatialized Audio
  • High Fidelity Atmospherics
  • Activities and Game Help
  • Cross-Gen Progression

This is Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 in its fastest, sharpest, and most feature-rich iteration to-date.

See you at the park.

  • Are there any preorder bonus or deluxe edition on PS5?

  • It looks fun

  • Activison, please start work on a new Tony Hawk game! We don’t want the series to die again. Hopefully another developer can deliver a great Tony Hawk game just like VV did.

As for this upgrade, I have the PS4 physical version. Hopefully this upgrade option is still around when I get a PS5. Not even mad at the $10 cost because I would like to get to play as the Ripper character.

  • please i need spyro preorder exclusives themes and avatars. My twitter is haroldnieves10 and my PS4 ID is shiny-genesect. Please

  • There is no mention of PS4 physical collector’s edition owners, the ones who paid $100 for the game, and it comes with the digital deluxe download code.

Do they get a free upgrade path as well?

    • please i need spyro themes and avatars preorder exclusives please give them again for the ones that not have the opirtunity like me

    • If the collector’s edition came with the digital deluxe, then you’re in the same boat as those who bought the PS4 digital deluxe copy – free upgrade!

    • I believe you’re correct T3mpr1x, but I would have liked to see them address this specially. No reason to omit the info.

    • I’m wondering the same.

I redeemed the code for the Deluxe content but both the standard and Cross-gen Deluxe bundle are full price in the store.

There’s no mention yet of an add-on item in the store for the upgrade from standard to deluxe. Maybe they’ll make that free if you used the code for the collector’s edition?

For now it’s wait and see I guess.

  • Thank you Activision!

Please update CTR: Nitro Fueled, the N. Sane trilogy and Spyro reignited trilogy to offer enhancements on the current gen consoles. Even just a patch to enable 60 fps would make a big difference and would be much appreciated.

  • Why are you forcing disk owners to pay for what should be a free upgrade?

    Go **** yourselves.

  • The upgrade if you own the PS4 disc version seems to be that you get the PS5 digital copy for £10. If that is correct, that means I don’t have to keep the PS4 disc in the PS5 to play because it’s not the same game and it’s a true digital version?

    • I highly doubt that because then people would be able to borrow their friend’s disc and get the game for $10. So it will most likely redeem a version that requires the disc to play.

    • It’s like any ps5 update you need the disc. E.g. I own Borderlands 3 on disc for PS4 I upgrade and download the ps5 edition when I launch it I am told I need to insert the PS4 disc to play the ps5 game

    • There is no PS5 version of Borderlands 3, it’s a PS4 game improved on PS5. TH 1+2 is not an update to the PS4 version, it’s a stand alone, digital only, PS5 version of the game. For that reason, the need for the disc is still questionable. The PS5 version won’t expect a disc to be inserted, I’m sure they’ll find a way to force it, but not sure how they can. I’m holding out in the hope I can get it for a tenner by borrowing a friends PS4 copy. It’s £10 Activision wouldn’t normally get, and they’re not going to block that small source of revenue for the few who will do it. Will just have to wait and see I suppose.

    • I got that wrong, there is a PS5 version of Borderlands 3, but it’s principle the same game as PS4 (same as Sackboy PS4 and PS5). If I’m upgrading to the PS5 version of the same game, then I’d agree you’d still need the disc, but the TH upgrade process is to a completely different version of the game.

  • I highly doubt that because then people would be able to borrow their friend’s disc and get the game for $10. So it will most likely redeem a version that requires the disc to play.

  • That’s great but grrr, just bought the standard in last PlayStation store sale. Would have bought the deluxe for $5 more at the time if I knew that was the cost to upgrade to ps5.

  • After grinding out the veteran trophy set and unlocking most of the achievements with the only ones remaining being for the hard get there’s and level 100 I think I’ll break for the next month untill the ps5 edition.

Thank you for cross progression I hope that includes trophies

  • Glad they’re offering an upgrade path instead of making us buy the game again outright. Nice!

  • It would be nice too play this game on ps5. But pointless buying the game as there still ain’t any ps5 in shops why do we need too know about games that comeing out when ppl still can’t get anything too play them on

  • Love it! Where can I pre-order this in the UK please?
