  • I hope it’s not just a slew of Western developed crap that’s been on sale countless times over the past couple years.

    • Dude they have a Big in Japan sale going on right now too. If you want Japanese stuff then there you go

    • That sale unfortunately became less important due to Sony not wanting to get money from PSP, PS3 and PS Vita sales.

    • Sony really, reeeeeally want you to buy western developed crap though.

It’s why the only really have 9 western studios who basically all churn out slight variations versions of the same game, then 1 Japanese who churn out a boring sim racer (oh and a Japanese publishing studio run by a western guy).

Also why “Japanese game” is considered a genre… 😂

  • Pfff…
Allow publishers to add PSP, PS3 and PS Vita titles to sales again and then we can talk.

    • Most PS3 games aren’t even on the store anymore. Unless you want the rereleases on PS4.

    • Demon Gaze 2 PS4 75% OFF

Since Vita games can’t go on sale unless Permanent Price Drop.

      No Vita version on Sale.

      Contraptions PS4 75% off

      No Vita version on sale.

Fail to see the logic not allowing PS3/Vita sales….does Sony not even want a bit of money.

    • The PS3 games are still in the store. Just not on the webstore.

I mean, the webstore is also missing wishlists, filtering, sorting, a DLC section and (sometimes) a buy button, so not being on the webstore isn’t saying much.

  • Tried to find filters to sort or another site with a simple text list. Couldn’t find one so decided not to browse the sale at all. New store site literally drives me away. Old further format was 10x better, easier, had more features, and intuitive. Hate the new store so much that I don’t even look at the sales

  • Jesus Christ how long has it been since you changed to the new store and STILL haven’t added any filters or sorting options. Yeah I really want to look at page after page of garbage games bloated with DLC listings, this is such a great chance to pick up Farming Simulator 2019 and all its DLC guys /s

    • Sony wanted to help people with digital game hording addictions by making it as difficult as possible to actually buy games. Especially after releasing a digital only version of the PS5. So they implemented several tactics to stop people buying games.

Lack of wishlists means people forget about things quicker.

Lack of filtering and sorting also means you’re less likely to be tempted by anything that’s been on the store for a week as it basically disappears.

No DLC section means you wont ever be tempted by DLC.

The Buy button often not working stops people buying games.

It’s all for our benefits. 😁

  • “But don’t be a jerk!” I’ll try: Please add filtering and ordering (by selling price, not the weird base price nonsense you had before). Or give your customers the option to give you this feedback as I’m sure this will not be read. Or communicate on a) why you have chosen to remove store functionality which has been available since around the beginning of web stores in general and b) if and when we can expect it to be added.

I must admit this genuinely helps with buying less games. Thank you.
