  • More of the same discounted games! When will discount the multiple games and seasons pass that never put in discount (as the persona 5 royal season pass)?

  • I hope not posting the prices on the blog is not the new norm.
It’s much easier to parse what’s on the sale here and the prices than the PS store.

    • Prices haven’t been posted on the blog for years now. There used to be links to the PS store but that doesn’t happen either now.

    • personausermike

On the contrary, it’s been only months, not years. They used to show prices on the NA Blog in a blue chart showing Regular Price, Plus Price, Sales Price.

They stopped doing it late 2019, though there was one sale in 2020 that did have the blue chart with prices. Again this is in NA.

Regardless, they won’t show prices anymore as it would be 2 different prices (UK and US). The old US one used to only show US prices and not Canadian. Having 3 different price breakdowns seems to be too much work since right now having a ‘The Drop’ post seems too much work lol

  • Agree–can we get prices listed here? Basic info. Thanks!

    • hi
please put Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection in good discount.I have never played these three amazing games in my life and I forget to download this collection when it was free.in uncharted series I just experience uncharted 4 and uncharted lost legacy.

  • blacksheepwall_

i remember before the “new and improved” site, I could wake up and have the list there for me and have a look while on my break to see if there’s anything I wanted to get downloading while out.

Now it’s 5 hours after I’ve already got in from work and seen it’s the same stuff as always. Can’t wait to see what’s improved next.

  • After years of the same sales, I have realized how much of a disappointment the PS4 is over the PS1,2 and 3. The game selection and variety just isnt there anymore.

    • God of War
      Persona 5
      The Last of Us 2
      Astro Bot
      Shadow of the Colossus
      Ghost of Tsushima
      Uncharted 4
      Ratchet & Clank
      MLB The Show
      Tearaway Unfolded
      Death Stranding
      Nex Machina
      Infamous Second Son
      Blood & Truth
      The Last Guardian
      Yakuza 6
      SFV Arcade
      Days Gone
      Concrete Genie
      Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture
      LittleBigPlanet 3
      Gravity Rush 2
      Everybody’s Golf
      Iron Man VR
      Tetris Effect

  • I wish I could see the sale prices. This English site merger has no benefit to the consumer.

  • Bring back the EU blog this is worse, if anything weve made the US site worse, at least they used to get prices.

  • No PSP, PS3 or PS Vita discounts again (PS4 cross-buy titles don’t count)? OK, gotta visit eShop again.
Sony, you realize you could earn money by discounting those games? How hard can it be to understand?

  • It’s a decent sale with potential – I’ll like grab a few $9.99 and under titles.

  • Where are the Vita games? Only Chasm is on sale.

    • which is only on sale because its cross-buy with ps4. which is the only way vita games go on sale these days.

a digital ps5 console looks very promising when sale support for older consoles is just completely ended, and sales in general have been repetitively the same with just a new sale name.

    • Only if you’re a U.S. PSN customer…once again Aussie/EU storefront psn customers get left out! :-( For a so called “new & improved” blog, you can’t even coordinate your sales content! Not a great advert for the all digital ps5.

    • @RJP_X how in the world does this make a digital PS5 look appealing? All that would do is in the next 7-10 years you’ll have no support for it either. It will have no backwards support for almost no games just like PS is doing now also. Not all games for PS4 will be compatible with it either.
      PS is screwing themselves daily.

    • i wasn’t applauding the idea of a digital only ps5 edition. my post was against it seeing as i’m not a huge fan of the way digital sales have been all year.

  • And once again, just to advertise a few examples of wishlisted items gathering cobwebs on PSN:
Cursed Castilla & Super Hydorah last on sale Aug. 2018 ,
CHASM (Sept. 2019 apparently, though don’t recall seeing it) & NOT in the current “Under $23AU” EU/AU PSN unlike 50% off on the US store/”Under $15US” category.
Meantime the following indies have yet to have a single discount/sale on PSN since their launch:
    Timespinner (released Sept. 2018),
    Blazing Chrome (Rel. Oct. 2019),
Castle Crashers Remastered (Rel. Oct 2019),
Battle Princess Madelyn (Released Nov.2019 EU/AU PSN,Dec 2018 US PSN),
    Xeno Crisis (Released Oct 2019),
    River City Girls(Rel. Sept. 2019)
    ,Fight’n’Rage (Rel. Dec. 2019),
    Afterparty (Rel. Oct. 2019).
Chasm,Timespinner, Cursed Castilla,Super Hydorah,Blazing Chrome,River City Girls,Castle Crashers Remastered,& Battle Princess Madelyn have all experienced either recent/current sales on Steam,Eshop,XB or in the past 6 months or more…the exception has been the PSN,(All PSN regions where they’re available).
Some Indie devs/publishers have expressed extreme difficulties dealing with the PSN in particular. They cite getting an Eshop discount involves filling out a form to nintendo & thats it.
Its frustrating to see posts stating “We love indies” with some wonderful looking cross gen ps4/ps5 titles,& yet look at games that go on sale on all rival digital platforms bar the PSN or in the case of Chasm for one region only. There’s a lot more to the psn than Recycled AAA titles…early gen ps4 reflected this in their sales…the dates of these titles are just a few examples where this clearly is no longer the case. Improve your communication with Indie devs/publishers & your customers Nathan.

    • And in an update for EU/AU storefront users,Chasm should be in the $23AU/13 pounds & Under sale,Bit Kid Games trying to get it sorted out-EU PSN strikes again! Please sort out your sales! :-(

  • This is ridiculous! No drop last week again because of July 4th weekend. Its not like you should able to schedule an automatic post for Friday.

Now the sales don’t have prices anymore. Whats next? Soon you just announce a sale without even listing the games? That would be even easier for you guys so you don’t have to put in any effort anymore.

    • Fun you should say that about a month before the big merge EU blog sales were sometimes a link to the store and that was it… I look forward to seeing here sooner or later

  • Finally Picked up Knack 2, Thanks!

  • Sorry I cannot pull myself to buy anything digital considering I can get it cheaper or the same price physically and have that resale value. Sony has never had a good sense of what a actual sale is.

  • I have a hard time taking advantage of these sales without knowing which games will be supported on PS5.
    That and my massive backlog.

  • Are we not doing drops anymore?

    • Nope no more drops as release dates are not the same everywhere and EU don’t get some games. Curse the merger for you shall no longer be able to see a list of stuff released per week

  • Went to Walmart today. Dragon Quest Builders was $19.99. On the PS Store, digital version is 69.99. That’s horrific.
