Maneater and Minecraft Dungeons round out the top three in May's reader-voted poll.
Congrats to Skydance, whose virtual reality adventure set in the Walking Dead universe shambled to the top of the Players’ Choice poll for May. Open world shark sim Maneater swam into the runner-up spot, and Minecraft Dungeons rounded out the top three.
So then, predictions for June?
Welcome back! Lots to choose from in this month’s Players’ Choice poll, whether you’re venturing into the depths of Minecraft Dungeons, becoming an unstoppable action hero in John Wick Hex, reliving the gritty glory of 80’s action flicks in Huntdown, or just causing all kinds of trouble as an electricity-imbued shark in Maneater.
PS VR had a big month, too, with the launch of The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, Gorn, and Pixel Ripped 1995.
Get those votes in below before Sunday at 11:59pm Pacific, and we’ll reveal the winner next week. See you then!
How does it work? At the end of every month, PlayStation.Blog will open a poll where you can vote for the best new game released that month. Soon thereafter, we’ll close the polls, tally your votes, and announce the winner at PlayStation.Blog. PlayStation Store will also showcase some top Players’ Choice winners throughout the year.
What is the voting criteria? That’s up to you! If you were only able to recommend one new release to a friend that month, which would it be? In keeping with our long tradition in the Game of the Year Awards, remastered or re-released games won’t qualify. Ambitious, larger-scale rebuilds and remakes like Shadow of the Colossus and Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will.
How are nominees decided? The PlayStation.Blog and PlayStation Store editorial teams will gather a list of that month’s most noteworthy releases and use it to seed the poll. Write-in votes will be accepted.
Going with The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners on this one. One of the best PSVR games out there. Pixel Ripped 1995 would be my second choice.
yeas!!!
YEEEEE
Nice to see a PSVR game representing.
PSVR is a must have at this point. Pixel Ripped and Gorn, Iron Man VR and Vader Immortal coming.
Having tons of fun with Maneater, gets my vote :)
Voted for it too! Haven’t played it yet, because I am waiting for a price drop, but it looks so much fun!
I have been having mindless jump in/jump out fun with Maneater. Great game!
Maneater is a sweet game so it gets my vote.
I wanted to vote for Saints Row 3 Remastered
ha pretty rough month this month eh? Thats okay June is amazing! Im still waiting on Maneater to come in the mail but i voted for that :p
Only rough for Non VR!
I voted blind for Golf With Your Friends, because why not.
Ion Fury
Maneater really surprised me! Minecraft Dungeons is fun but being a shark was my favorite :)
Unrelated comment, jus thought I’d mention this. I liked the way the eu blog looked. It had a like button and other little features. Why was it removed? This blog looks messy and unorganised to me, maybe I’m jus not used to it.
There doesn’t seem to be an edit button here either
The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners can be the only answer to that question. wish i could vote more than once for this game, it has all a game should have and some. eagerly awaiting the quest release and dlc’s (YES plural xD).
in short:
I LOOOOVVVEEEE this game and you should too!
Maneater is the only correct answer
Loving The Walking Dead game. One of the best so far on PSVR.
Since there were no news posts, was the EU blog merged into the NA blog? Does it mean all the updates on the PSN store, along with releases and discounts, be the same for both regions?
Gotta go with maneater CMON how often do you get to be a cool ass shark!!!!
I really want to vote but I didn’t play anything new this month XD
I vote Minecraft Dungeons because my friend Saku recommends it to me! 😷
My vote is for Bug Fables. By far the most underrated game of the month.
I can’t find the vote button to reinstate the EU Blog.
Congrats to Saints & Sinners. It really deserves it as one of the best games on PSVR. We don’t see VR games win these polls often so this is awesome. We all know what game is winning the June poll. Might as well just hand it to it.
