We hope you’re taking care of yourselves, staying safe, and making solid progress on your back catalog of games.
The Last of Us Part II is by far the largest and most ambitious game we’ve ever made and there will be so much for you to dig into when it arrives on June 19th. Leading up to launch, we’re releasing a brand new series of videos breaking down key aspects of the game. Each video will feature interviews with members of our team as we discuss the design, technology, and ideas that have shaped the development of our game over the last six years.
We’re kicking things off by taking a closer look at the story in The Last of Us Part II, including some of the core themes we’re exploring, a glimpse into Ellie and Joel’s life in Jackson, and how we’re broadening the world and cast of characters. Don’t worry, we’re keeping all episodes spoiler-free and there will be so much more for you to dig into on June 19th! Check it out:

From here on out, we’ll be releasing new videos every week for the next three weeks. Here’s what to expect and when:
May 13: Inside the StoryMay 20: Inside the GameplayMay 27 28: Inside the DetailsJune 3: Inside the World
We look forward to sharing more in the weeks to come! Enjoy!
1 more month to play this game cannot wait
This…..me too.
One month before game of the year. I love that this game scares people. Go play something safe, take your anti-gay, misogynist, good ole Murican views and play something else. I don’t care what the protagonist is and i put my trust in an artist that has EARNED it.
I want a post apocalyptic EPIC with high end drama. I want visceral, violent, raw, and real. Best in class visuals and voice acting is icing. June 19. All in. Safe, scared casuals need not apply. There’s a system for you and it’s green and black. Play some Bleeding Edge and Crackdown i’ll be on Dreams, TLoU, and Tsushima.
@iamtylerdurden1 you do realize most people don’t care about any of the LGBT stuff right? It’s just that we don’t want identity politics shoved in our face to sacrifice the story
@emmfour – i think what tyler is saying is that we don’t judge an entire game or story based on the main character being gay. If anyone is shoving views, it’s you
^But if it’s apart of the story, then nothing is being sacrificed. ;)
