Join the PlayStation Player Celebration to Win Exclusive Prizes

Play games and earn Trophies to unlock shared community rewards — plus enter for a chance to take home the grand prize.

Since the launch of PlayStation 4, more than 100 million players have come together to share incredible stories, experience countless adventures, and create life-long memories in a generation of unforgettable PS4 games.

To celebrate our fans, we’re calling on the PlayStation community to join together to play toward a shared set of goals and win exclusive PS4 themes and PSN avatars. Sign-ups start today and the program ends when all goals are reached (or March 15, whichever happens first). By signing up, you’ll also have a chance to win a PlayStation kit, which includes a real-life PlayStation Platinum Trophy engraved with your PSN ID!

Here are the steps to participate:

1. Sign Up

First, register with your PSN Sign-In ID here*. Registration opens today, and you’ll start contributing to any upcoming goals as soon as the goal period starts. You can start contributing to the Community Goals for Stage One on February 24.

2. Start Playing!

There are two Community Goals in each Stage:

  • Play multiple PS4 games — the Community must play a target number of games for each Stage. Every PS4 game that each entrant plays for at least an hour (across as many sessions during the Stage) will count toward a goal.
  • Earn Trophies — the Community must earn a target number of trophies for each Stage. Up to six PS4 Trophies each entrant earns each day will count toward a goal. Trophies earned from games with a multiplayer mode count double!

3. Win Exclusive Rewards

Everyone who signs up can earn exclusive themes and avatars when the Community hits a goal. The rewards will be delivered directly to your PS4 via system notification.

By signing up, you’ll also have the chance to win an exclusive PlayStation kit, which includes a real-life PlayStation Platinum Trophy engraved with your PSN ID, a $100 USD / $130 CAD PlayStation Store voucher, and voucher codes for a selection of our greatest PS4 games. To win, you’ll also need to answer a question at playstation.com/playercelebration on March 17, 2020 at 11:00 AM PDT / 2:00PM EST. The first two correct answers will be selected as winners. See Official Rules for details.

  • Sony rewards it’s fans!

    • Haven’t played PS4 but I picked up some new games recently. No time like the present to start playing.

    • According to the rules:

“ELIGIBILITY: This Promotion is open only to legal residents of one of the fifty (50) United States (including the District of Columbia).”

      Ummm what?

    • Sony rewards persons in the US which is dumb because majority of the people that actually buy the console live outside the US

    • @ZanFear a different rules section states this:

ELIGIBILITY: This Promotion is open only to an individual who: (i) is a legal resident of the Participating Countries/Regions, (ii) is at least eighteen (18) years or the legal age of majority in the individual’s state/territory/province of residence at the time of entry, (iii) owns or has access to a PlayStation®4 as of February 18, 2020 (iv) has an account for PlayStationTMNetwork (“PSN”) account (“PSN Account”), and (v) has an active high-speed internet connection and is logged in to the PSN during play. Each such individual is an “Entrant”.

“Participating Countries/Regions” include: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, Indonesia, Ireland, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, UK, and US.

    • ^ I sure hope those are the real eligibility rules! I’m in Canada.

    • Pretty awesome.

Sony certainly is For the Players.

I’ll be contributing Dreams trophies for sure as it’s possibly the best game this gen.

If u don’t get Dreams u need to rethink your gaming choices.

    • I know right

    • i dont even know what to do lol

    • Por isso q digo sem dó Sony e mt melhor q qualquer outra empresa

  • Doupt filled me for winning the trophy, but at least I will get some themes

  • I just got over 50 trophies including a plat last night… wish this happened yesterday but oh well.

  • Sooo sad and depressed. I don’t have a console, my cats knocked my TV down and broke it, (along with my glasses), and waiting on the 5 to come out—-

  • Its just me or all links on page are 404?

  • Just a heads up, the last link to the rules (in italics) is broken, and that would be ‘cos you left it relevant to the current page.

  • Would be nice to have that platinum trophy

  • Sólo debo jugar del 24 de Febrero hasta cuándo para recibir las recompensas ya que para registrarme me aparece 404 error

  • i joined but i’m not sure if these goals are attainable

  • If there is a problem opening the link for the registration page just google it! Playstation player celebration or smth else.

  • You guys should allow access at least to the Official Rules, so the we would avoid bothering since it just US people can join, according the replies on the Twitter.

  • Me sale error no puedo ingresar al link

    • Creo que esta disponible solo para estados unidos, es solo una suposición

    • Los ‘Países/regiones participantes’ incluyen: Alemania, Arabia Saudí, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bélgica, Brasil, Canadá, Chile, Corea del Sur, Dinamarca, Eslovaquia, España, Estados Unidos, Finlandia, Francia, Hong Kong, Hungría, Indonesia, Irlanda, Japón, Malasia, México, Noruega, Nueva Zelanda, Países Bajos, Polonia, Portugal, Reino Unido, República Checa, Rusia, Singapur, Suecia, Suiza, Tailandia y Taiwán.

  • That physical Platinum trophy with my PSN name engraved would be awesome to have, but realistically just looking forward to those Avatars and Themes.

  • I won’t be able to do much myself, but I’ll still certainly try.

  • I would like to join in! exciting party!

  • This is awesome Playstation, Thank you

  • Got a Date Next Week but oh well…
What can i do about it.
Also this is quality service from sony right here folks…
    Enjoy it, have fun guys!

  • Don’t have much time in my hands but I’ll contribute with at least two hours a day. Don’t know about 6 trophies a day though.

  • Error 404 in all of the links

  • Excelent ! I Hope to win :)

  • Saben si esta disponible para otros países de latinoamerica

  • Con este error del enlace cuando voy a poder inscribirme :/

  • They should be doing this for single player story games to I feel like it leaves out half of the Sony players. Not everyone plays the multiplayer games anyway I guess I’ll have to give it a try but I know won’t have as many games in as people who just do that all day long so I feel like this is targeting the people who play multiplayer all day.

    • It’s for every game, every trophy. However there’s an added bonus for earning a trophy in a multiplayer game though, in that the trophy counts as double. It’s not excluding single player in any way.

  • Official rules link broken :(

  • Article doesn’t explicitly clarify whether the physical Trophy is made out of solid Platinum.

  • Hi. I tried to sign up but the link is not ok. 404 astrobot webpage.

Is this available for Kuwait Account? MENA REGION?

  • This is awesome!

  • Only US members? Well, I don’t get why Sony guys keep excluding the other members of the world. The community is huge out there and should take part in this kind of promotion.

    • “Participating Countries/Regions” include: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, Indonesia, Ireland, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, UK, and US.

  • Whoever wins that trophy I’m going to need a photo

  • This is going to be fun

  • Basically…. This celebration is only open for residents of the US citizens according to the Official Rules. Then why is this posted in PlayStation Latam? And if this is not an Error, then why when someone try to join in the registration it says “Sorry it seems there is an error”?

  • please read the rules:
Participating Countries/Regions” include: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, Indonesia, Ireland, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, UK, and US.

  • I would sign up, but every time I go to sign in, it logs me back out.

  • I think this is pretty cool I never seen PlayStation do something like this I would like to try and win
    the dynamic theme

  • Ps4 squad

  • Fantastic very good ❤

  • Anyone else not able to register? It says I have two tasks but nothing happens when I click on the links.

  • Hey PS Blog Team!

“Participating Countries/Regions” include: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, Indonesia, Ireland, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, UK, and US.

PS Blog Brazil already has the story featured prominently, but there’s no mention of it on the LatAm PS Blog. People in Argentina, Chile, and Mexico are still in the dark. Make it right!

  • I’m trying to register for this thing but I continually get signed out automatically before I can register. If I click the register button some silly broken cat pops up and says I need to login in register. How the heck do I register for this.

    • Same here, this is ridiculous, sign in, as soon as you click the link it signs you out, WTF Sony

    • Same. Been trying for days and still getting the auto log out after barely signing in. Doesn’t seem related to verification. Resetting password doesn’t help. Anyone find a work around?

  • 45 billion dollar company and they can’t let anyone outside of the use win. I personally will not be playing on my PS4 during this contest because the company never has a contest for any other countries but the USA they don’t care about anyone else

    • From what i been reading its alot more than the us. Have you tried making sure your country isnt eligable before crying like a little girl about? Doubtful.

  • Is the platinum trophy made from real platinum? If not, you need to up the rewards. You’re Sony, you make billions, you can afford better rewards than themes and avatars.

  • This is kind of perfect timing for me: Last night I made a literal last-minute pre-order of the Bayonetta & Vanquish bundle (which, for those who haven’t got it yet, came out today). Despite the fact that it only counts from February 24 onward, this only makes me even more excited to play these games. Also, seeing as how I’ve got 150+ games as of today, this is a good chance to finish what’s in my larger-than-need-be backlog. I’m down for this!

  • Please include Latin America! we play and buy your products too!

  • To those of you saying the Rules link is broken, it’s not; the issue lies here:

    2. • My account is usa

  • This is cool, I just signed up. Hope we can reach all the goals!!

  • As someone with 349 Platinum trophies that real life one would be nice to have. Sadly though having something like this come down to whoever opens and has a page work for them first so that they can answer a question isn’t really fair. Wish there was some other way to go about it.

  • Não está abrindo a página para inscrição.

  • I need that platinum trophy!
