  • Nice additions but that’s only 3 games… Since the renewal of the service, you only a few games. That’s really disappointing.
    Where are PS2/PS3 games ?
Where are upgrades to PS4 versions for games like Uncharted Collection, The Last of Us, BioShock Collection, Arkham games, etc… ?

    • Why would you remove first party titles. It makes no sense. Netflix doesn’t remove Netflix originals. I can understand 3rd party titles but first party should stay. I hope the only 3 games a month added isn’t permanent at least pad big tites with smaller ones too.

    • Yeah…he got a point

    • PSNOW is fantastic.

As a racing fan it’s unbelievable. P Cars, P Cars 2, Dirt 4, Assetto Corsa, F1, Mantis Burn, Ride and more.

Lost Legacy is a great addition. There are 400 PS4 and PS2 games for download and 800 games overall. Gamepass is like 100 games, Stadia is 20 or so.

Even PS3. I never played Castlevania LoS 2, Ni No Kuni, or the first Killzone and I can now!

The best game service around. Streaming AND download.

The backlog is so huge that even with a few AAAs added per month I’m good. $5 per month ppl are crazy to complain.

  • Wow. Nice additions! Service just keeps getting better and better.

    • Hope you are kidding. This service is getting worse. Three games that you have to complete in three months. Look at Gamepass and the games they are getting and those can last 3 months to over a year with Microsoft ones being there all the time.

    • The service is perfect. Except they did a one big mistake, and that is Making temporary.
Please Playstation…. We want the games to be permanent. Like the God of War, Persona 5, horizon zero dawn etc. Because I am a student I don’t get to play a lot that I will finish 3 big games in just 3 months. You should understand that playstation. And many PS4 users are waiting for ps now subscription to many countries where the ps now still don’t support. If you remove those games then in future when u will add ps now those remaining countries they won’t be able to play these temporary masterpieces…. Please playstation remove this temporary thingy. I dont want Persona 5 God of War Infamous 2nd son etc etc to go away.

      Sorry for my English.

  • Okay , I unsubscribed a couple months back, and with this new pricing I am very interested in subscribing again but the content updates is concerning me. I recall you guys saying these big games were just a cherry on top of the regular content updates. There have been no regular content updates since you changed the pricing. I’m actually tempted to get xbox game pass, all the Final fantasy games are dropping there shortly, and so are a lot of other AAA franchises that one would consider big games. I appreciate ps now, but the recent updates aren’t drawing me a core gamer in.

    • Yeah if u already subscribed and play the games you wanted, it is not worth it. You only get three months to play a handful of games.

    • Your trying to tell me you haven’t played all the Final Fantasy games yet? Wow that’s kinda sad.

  • The thing is. PS Now could definitely be the best game subscription and streaming service. All Sony needs to do are make a few reasonable changes.

    1. Every PS exclusive that’s a few years old should be on PS Now permanently. I’m not saying brand new exclusives should launch on PS Now. But c’mon. Games that go on sale for $15 should be on Playstation’s service already.
    2. PS Now needs to be on mobile.
    3. The option to stream 1080p.
    4. PS4 upgrades of PS3 games.
    5. Chill with the whole “temporary” games. We’d rather have a quality game added permanently, even if it’s an older game. Than one that will by gone in 3 months.
    6. Add more franchises and last gen titles that we cant get on PS4.
    7. Work with indie devs and try to get a hot upcoming indie game to debut on PS Now day one. You (understandably) won’t put your exclusives on PS Now day one. But what about high profile indie games? Same way Game Pass does?

    • In complete agreement of #2. I remote play a lot of games from my phone and being able to play PS Now there would be amazing.

Also, please bring the FFXIII Trilogy to PS Now.

      That is all.

    • With regard to what UltiGamer500 said above:

      I agree with point #1.

      I agree with point #2.

I agree with…aw, what the heck, pretty much the entire list!

I also want to add that while some of the recent “marquee” games have been great, I miss the good ol’ days when we would regularly get TEN OR MORE games each month. Some of the smaller bread-and-butter games have been great, even if they weren’t as widely recognized. I’m sure developers would jump at the opportunity to get more visibility (see #7 above).

With only three or four games each month, that means there’s a lot less variety being offered. Some people don’t want those games, or might have already played them. More new games each month (as was the norm prior to October 2019) means more fresh opportunities to appeal to a wider variety of gamers’ tastes.

    • @UltiGamer500

      This is a great suggestion!

  • EVERY PS2, PS3, and most PS4 exclusives should already be on PS Now. PS Now, should, at the very LEAST be the place to play all of PlayStation’s great exclusives. And there’s NO reason why all of these OLD exclusives aren’t PERMANENT additions to PS Now.

    Jak & Daxter, Jak 2, Jak 3, Jak X (PS4)
Ratchet & Clank Collection and Deadlocked
    PS All Stars Battle Royale
    Twisted Metal Black
Gran Turismo 5, 6, and Gran Turismo Sport
    The Order: 1886
    Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection
    Uncharted 4 & Lost Legacy
    The Last of Us: Remastered
    inFamous Second Son/First Light
    Horizon: Zero Dawn
    PaRappa The Rapper, PaRappa 2
Gravity Rush & Gravity Rush 2

Great 3rd party and last gen games and franchsies that would make great additions to the library if added permanently.

GTA IV & Episodes from Liberty City
    Max Pain 3
    Mass Effect Trilogy
    Dead Space 1 & 2
    Hitman HD Collection
    Splinter Cell HD Collection
    Prince of Persia HD Collection
    Kingdom Hearts 1.5 Remix
    Final Fantasy 7, 8, 10/10-2, 13/13-2, & 15

Games that need a PS3 to PS4 upgrade

    Batman Arkahm City, Asylum
    Bioshock collection
    Resident evil 4, 5, 6, revelations 1 and 2
    Dead rising collection

  • You should add more ps3, vita games.

    • Unfortunately that is it for PS3 and indie games there just going to have PS4 games, sad but true.. But so far it doesn’t look that great, but I have heard that the price is going down. From $10.99 to $9.99- they should’ve had a much better selection even from those Indie games! Heck even there one particular game called DEX is still over priced to this day it is $20.00 bucks in the PlayStation Store, when it’s cheaper on Steam for $9.99?! Well you get the picture

  • Sad to see PS Now heading in the same direction as Music Unlimited and PlayStation Vue. Sony just doesn’t seem to understand how to utilize the incredible technologies they pioneer. I hope they have plans to get everything right by the time PlayStation 5 arrives, but I fear they will continue to under perform with PS Now.

To those in charge. Find the right people to take charge of your products, and get out of their way. There is absolutely no reason for the faliure of PlayStation Vita, PlayStation Home, PlayStation Music (by Sony), and PlayStation Vue. These products should all still be alive, and part of a much larger PlayStation Ecosystem than we currently have today.

PlayStation 4 has been a decent success, but the PlayStation ecosystem has actually shrunk over the last decade. Now everything hinges on PlayStation 5 being another run away success. This is not a healthy business model.

Good luck going forward. PlayStation is not the be all end all for me, but I would like to see the brand continue into the next decade. Apple, Google, Microsoft, and Nintendo need competition to keep them honest.

    • ☝ I agree but what’s next Nomore Spotify no way! Because I like streaming music in all my PS4 indie games! But I think they need to have a poll on what is the next game that you would like to see in the PSN Store because I maybe picked 2 or 3 games from months ago to the last one NIOH. I still have yet to see there greatest hits games like Spyro The Dragon Remastered, MediEvil Remastered, Uncharted 1-2-3-4, Remastered along others maybe even The RE remastered games in the future?!

    • Was this comment for real? PlayStation is the #1 gaming brand in the world and by a long shot. PlayStation 4 wasn’t a “decent success”, it recently joined only 3 other consoles in the history of the gaming industry at 100mill units sold.

The other companies you mentioned are going for PlayStation’s throne, not the other way around.

  • I really wish you guys would make it so PS3 games are downloadable to a PS3 console. (Note: I said PS3 console, not PS4. A lot of people miss that when I post this.) Many people still own PS3s, and playing locally is always better than streaming. My internet bandwidth is limited to 1TB a month, which I share with 3 roommates, so that’s 250GB for each of us. PS3 downloads are typically only about 4-5GB, whereas streaming a game for 20-30 hours would use a lot more.

    • I don’t know why they don’t do this. It should be a no brainer. If we can download PS3 games to our PS3, Vita games to our Vita’s via PS Now Sony would leave Game Pass in the dust. And the games don’t have to be new AAA games. Like someone here said older AAA games you can get for like $10 should be permanent on the service. But we can only dream.

  • The people above have spoken Sony. This is some incredible PS Now feedback and you would be silly to ignore it.

  • I cannot wait to try Horizon, thank you!

    • You guys complain too much. Service is way better than before. $10 a month for 800 plus games is a steal. You don’t have to subscribe to it.

  • The reason why so many people are frustrated and disappointed with the service lately. Is because a lot of us feel like, if handled properly PS Now could be a wonderful service that millions of people would subscribe to. And we thought, with the price drop and ads that the service would be getting better. But it hasn’t. It’s stagnated and starting to get worse.

You said that a temporary marquee game would be included along with the list of evergreen titles added every month. So far there have only be 4 permanent titles added over the last four months. (Including Jan).

I get adding a temporary game once in a while. But you’ve only been adding three games a month. Two of which will be gone 3 months after they’re added.

And the really annoying part is that most of the marquee games are PS exclusives that are 3 to 4 years old. Why arent these games already permanent additions to the service? No one expects Days Gone or Death Stranding added day one. But games that have been out for 3 years? C’mon now… You’re selling these games for like $10 just add them to the sevice already.

On top of the lackluster additions there haven’t been any fundamental changes to the service other than the much needed price drop. No 1080p. No mobile support. No PS3 upgrades. No PSOne or Vita additions. It’s the same service. You’re just adding less games now.

I’ve been using this service on and off since the beta back in 2014. I’ve had a recurring subscription since 2016. Just needed this month. I’ll hold off on re-rubscribing until improvements are made.

It would be fantastic if you guys actually listened to your consumers and made changes according to what your fanbase suggests so your services don’t die out. Y’know like other Playstation services in the past. It really can’t be that difficult to listen to feedback.

    1. PS Now on mobile devices
    2. Option to stream 1080p
    3. Every PlayStation exclusive that’s at least a few years old should be on PS Now
    4. More PS4 versions of PS3 games
    5. Prioritize permanent titles over temporary ones.
    6. Have indie titles launch day one on PS Now

  • Why would you remove first party titles. It makes no sense. Netflix doesn’t remove Netflix originals. I can understand 3rd party titles but first party should stay. I hope the only 3 games a month added isn’t permanent at least pad big tites with smaller ones too.

  • This service needs a big re-think.
It should be the home of ALL PlayStation Studio games from the PlayStation 1 -3 at the very least.

  • If ps now had all ps1-2 games you’d see a lot less complaining. You guys are sitting on a gold mine but can’t seem to figure out how a pick axe works lol.

    • True. There are too many games from the past that are being ignored.

Even if Sony doesn’t want to dip far back into their early catalog, I bet some third-party developers and publishers would love the opportunity to reintroduce their past hits to the current market.

  • Yeah, this new direction with PS Now isn’t working for me but it certainly helps me decide which console to buy next generation.

    • What Sony is doing here is using ps now to try and tempt people into buying a PS4 and the ps5 . Hence why you can’t even stream at 1080p only 720p and why they also remove their exclusives after a few months and don’t put them day and date on the service and also they haven’t all of them on the service . Regardless of whether you can play some of the ps4 exclusives on ps now or pc through PS now . Buying the actual playstation console is still better for playing the ps exclusives since you can play them with less input latency higher resolution frame rates and overall better image quality . Plus a PS4 is dirt cheap at this point even the pro is quite cheap and the games like hzd gow4 spiderman uc4 infamous second son and first light Wipeout Omega collection bloodborne the order 1886 until dawn etc are all dirt cheap now and u also have the choice of actually owning those games which is in more ways better than renting them . I actually see these moves Sony are pulling with their exclusives on ps now make some people buy a PS4 instead since everything will always be there and many people won’t mind buying a PS4 now since those buy consoles towards the end of the generation and buy them when everyrhing has gotten cheaper so this will defo convincw people who subbed to ps now to get a PS4 instead

  • So if you’re someone who actually buys big games at launch -like me- then PS Now is pretty much becoming more and more pointless because you already own all of these “premium” games. So essentially nothing is being added month after month besides maybe one game from time to time.

If you want to add these limited time games, then fine but don’t think this can replace the 8-odd games we were getting before all of this. Big AAA games means a higher chance people would have already played them. Stop thinking about the PC crowd who might not have have got a PS4 and starting taking into account the people who actually bought your console, buy these games at launch and have PS Now to play older games (there are like 20 PS2 games and still no PSX games on Now, absolutely shameful), discover more obscure PS3 & PS4 games and yeah, from time to time replay a big AAA game or try one they *may* have missed.

3 games is ridiculous. These “premium” games don’t make up for the large amount we got before. Find a compromise but we need more classic games being added again.

    • Exactly. They need to stop with this 3 games a month thing. Not only are we barley having anything permanent added to the library. There are tons of old PS2 and PS3 games that they can add. They need to focus on adding games we cant play on PS4.

    • Gekidami, you’re also made some excellent points.

I would LOVE to see more new PlayStation 2 games on the service. The PS2 back catalog is a proverbial GOLD MINE, packed with first-party and third-party riches…but it’s all being ignored. I suppose this has to do with the fact that the entire “PS2 Classics for PS4” initiative has stalled over the last two years.

They need to jumpstart the entire “PS2 Classics for PS4” program…which, I assume, will also later serve as “PS2 Classics for PS5”. Negotiate with third-party publishers. Pick out some top gems. Make them available for sale on the PS Store for PS4, as well as on the PS Now service.

Wouldn’t you love to play all those old TimeSplitters and Burnout games again? How about Katamari Damacy, and the early Ratchet & Clank games? Get all of ’em up there, with or without trophies. These would be great additions to PS Now.

  • Could you add a PS Now Plus option too so we get all the dlcs along the games too?

  • Why temporary?

  • Wow, people complain a lot.

    • Well, that’s to be expected when your main competitor sells a better service at a similar price point. Sony needs to take a page from the Game Pass playbook and start adding as many of their exclusives as possible … permanently. They have a big enough backlog of hits over the years that even if they only added first party titles, they could have years worth of updates lined up already. Unfortunately, they just want to loan us three games for a couple months each instead of leveraging their library.

Generally speaking, when you’re offering solutions to problems you point out, that’s called constructive criticism. It’s offered because you want something to succeed and/or be even better. If you can’t tell the difference between that and general complaining, that’s your own personal failing.

  • Great additions but continuing to add only 3 games a month is bad value compared to something like Game Pass. Also I understand if third party games can only stay so long but why take away your exclusives after only a few months? Keep them on there and you’ll get more subscribers.

    • Keeping their exclusives on there would devalue the actual console. The console is the first priority.

    • @Spectre_Stat8sN7: One way to mitigate that is by only offering evergreen exlusives. Have a 1-2 year lockout period for the service if needed. Sure, that wouldn’t place it on parity with Game Pass, but it would make sure they get those sweet console sales while still providing a lot of value to PS Now customers.

  • This is much better than December, but because of the cheaper subscription service has become worse, few games and then at the time, and I would like 4 games of which one navsega in the service. Well, or an exclusive opportunity to run and download games from ps3 to ps4, the same red dead redemption or resistance.

  • Meh! Let me know when you start adding more PS3 games to the service. I really don’t like these new limited 3-month releases.

  • I don’t understand why there are no ps1 games, very limited number of ps2 games, and a lot of missing ps3 games. Just add a game from each classic system per month, just add ps4 games every now and then as a bonus.

  • Some of these complaints are legit while others just totally ignore logic.

    • True. The thing about downloading PS1-PS3 games has been beaten to death (not technically feasible). I hope they figure out something that allows them to better leverage their content library. I love the service, but I do think it needs to make some changes to how they add games to stay relevant in the face of what MS is doing to gain ground in this area.

  • Its sad i have been subbed to ps now for two years and i dont think i will renew come January

    • Its funny because I’ve been subscribed since 2016. My membership ended this month and I really dont feel compelled to renew. I like the service and want it to get better but it just isnt at the moment.

I’ll resubscribe once they start “pushing the service harder”. Which they said they’ll do with the PS5.

  • only 3 months? these are old exclusive games, Why not keep it there permanently??

anyway it doesnt matter, my mind is almost made up – just waiting for their PS5 reveal to see if they announce Full Backwards compatibility..

if not im jumping ship and getting the Series X

    MS knows what they’re doing.

  • Amazing games! Thanks SONY! I love you id like to make babies with you !!

  • Just to add to what I originally said:

I’d like to point out that ever since these premium games started in october, we’ve had (/will have counting january) 5 games that’ll actually stay on the service added in 4 months (we got 2 in november). That means that in 6 months time when october to january’s limited games are gone, we’d have only got 5 games that stay on the service whereas before we got anywhere upward of 6 in a single month.

And in six months time, since october, we may have about 9 or 13 (depending on when they decide to give 2 permanent games) that actually stay on the service forever. I’d like to yet again reiterate that before these premium games, we got anywhere upward of 6 games a month. So if Sony don’t change anything, we’d be in a situation where, in terms of games that actually stay on the service, we get as many in 6 months as we did in 2 before.

And before I hear anything about the price drop: I -and many others- still paid full price, the price drop isn’t retroactive. Now if Sony want to give me back 30€ to justify the drop in content…

  • First of all, I would like to entertain you with a story about a man called “Goha” ( Goha and his son had a donkey, one day they went out and they both rode the donkey, people saw them riding the donkey and said ” look at Goha and his son, they are heartless, they are both riding this weak donkey !!!” , Goha heard them and told his son ” I will walk and you stay on the Donkey ” , another group of people saw them and said ” look at Goha’s son , he is disrespectful of his father, he rides the donkey and lets his old father walk !!!” , they heard them and Goha told his son ” I will ride and you walk beside me” they did that yet passing a third group of people they heard them saying ” look at Goha , he is an awful father , he is making his son walk while he rides the donkey ” , so Goha and his son both walked and no one rode the donkey, people saw them and said “Look at Goha and his son, they have a donkey next to them and yet they are walking and no one rides it !!!!” , that’s when Goha and his son decided to carry the donkey on their backs and then people laughed and said “Goha bought a donkey to be a donkey ” ) , the moral of this story is that you can’t please all people, if you are one person or even a huge corporation like Sony and PlayStation, I knew about PS Now first time when they dropped the price and introduced God of War and Uncharted 4, I am a subscriber since but last month when I saw the 3 added games for December I was disappointed and I decided not to renew my PS Now subscription, but I have to admit that after this announcement, I will renew, and that is because Sony gave me PS4 exclusives that I want to play – at least for the next 3 months- , that brings me to something important, PS Now is a great service and it offers a lot of brilliant games because Sony and Play station has a lot of great games in their history, better than other services of course , may be they are not offering the newest ones because they have to encourage people to buy their console – they are a business at first and they want to make profit and keep winning- but for us we are gamers and consumers and we want every new game to be available for us but what if we get 10 , 20 or 30 games every month, will we play all of them !!!! the service already has over 800 games that we can play including jewels like Shadow of the colossus, Journey and Last of Us, Uncharted 1 2 3, and with the addition of PS4 exclusives for 3 months each, it is a very good deal, in my “humble” opinion, we don’t need more than 3 months to play the game, and if someone want to replay it for several times then he\she can buy a PS4 and get it forever, but for me , I have 3 consoles, PS1 ,PS2 and PS3 but I didn’t get a newer console, so having this service helped me to play PS4 games without having to pay for a PS4, and that’s why I think Sony can’t or won’t just give us all new games, but at least they are giving me – a PC player – the chance to play these console exclusives which Sony excels at.
After saying that, I want to agree with most of the comments about getting PS now at 1080 FHD and PS now on mobile phones, and I want to say that Last month addition wasn’t good at all, because you can’t give me PUBG which is an ongoing game to play for 3 month only – I see here that this move proves more that Sony is pulling our leg to buy a PS4 console which is their main goal and they succeeded at so far.
A word for Sony , I hope you add all these timed games in the future as permanent ones, and I hope you add more old exclusives and “new 3rd party games”, I – and I only represent myself – don’t care about adding 10s of games every month, 3 is ok but make them very good , even timed ones if they are very Good or PS4 exclusive, would be great, and work on this service more technically because I believe that this is the future of gaming and you already have a great base.
For all people who read my comment till the end, thank you and I would be very happy and honored if you agreed or even disagreed with me as long as we are having a respectful and fun discussion between us gamers and passionate people.

  • How is it that Xbox (Game Pass) just obtained the entire Final Fantasy collection. and PS Now lost the Entire Final Fantasy Collection? Hmm…. *Thinking Emoji*

  • STOP with the temporary games and add MORE content more often!
I subscribed for a year and I expect that you’d get it right!

  • Good Games for This Month But i hope next One see The witcher We really need it there More likes if u want it too.

  • Overall I feel like this service should be better. It’s awesome to be able to stream especially for me and my 2TB full. It really works handy but at times it diesnt always work great with streaming. Also the game lineup should be much stronger bring in more ps4 exclusives or all ps4 exclusives on release. How come big title 3rd party games are missing also. Not talking about games that 10 bucks or less if you went into a store to rent them. Also why not make a yearly pass for $50 or a plus and ps now sub for$ 100 a year.

  • I just picked up this service as a christmas present, and will have Now for all of 2020. Love hearing about the new title adds, but I must add to the many here who are requesting the exclusive titles sticking around an not arbitrarily pulling titles. Also I’m unsure as to why titles in general are getting pulled. I just started GTA V and am dismayed it will get pulled tomorrow.

  • I just subscribed for a year, and for this to be a worthy investment I’m waiting for:

    – more games at a higher release rate, including exclusives
    – no time limits

Also you should really start a PS Now Twitter account!

  • You all blocked us from buying GoW and Uncharted 4 when they were on sale for $10, now you have ALL the other Uncharteds on PS Plus and the spin off of Uncharted 4 for temporary play (don’t know how you expect to compete with XGP when you only allow 1 -2 year old games for 3 months when they’re doing unlimited access to brand new games) now that we can’t play Uncharted 4 anymore.

    • A note to anyone that didn’t notice: if you have PS Now, you WILL NOT be allowed to buy the full games that are on Now temporarily until they are no longer on Now, even if they going on sale for a great price.

  • GTA V moved from being a temporary addition in PS Now to Games Pass, as a permanent addition.

What a disgrace, Sony! Step up your game ASAP! an easy way is adding all exclusive games to the service.
