Some big new games launched in October, and three of those big new games topped the PS4 charts at PlayStation Store. Congratulations to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (well-deserved, ), Ghost Recon Breakpoint, and The Outer Worlds!

  • US disappoint again with no MediEvil charting. Shame on you.

  • No MediEvil or Concrete Genie. Shame on you PS4 owners. Buying disappointing games like Ghost Recon that even Ubi said was a failure.

    • those games just came out towards the end of the month, they’re most likely be on Novembers top downloads of games instead

    • I know right? The one annoying thing about the Playstation fanbase, they rarely support the classic games that are given new life. Or new IP from Sony’s 1st party studios.
Of course there are exceptions, but seeing MediEvil and Concrete Genie not even chart top 10 is beyond depressing. They both deserve better!

    • @Batninja Sorry you’re wrong there. Concrete Genie came out on October 8th. It has the whole month to sell. MediEvil came out on the 25th and made No.9 in the Europe PS Store charts. So no the fact of the matter is that people in the US didn’t support either of these games. They won’t be in the November charts either.

  • MediEvil came out the same time as Outer Worlds and Call of Duty.

    • What’s your point? It made No.9 in the Europe charts. US players just didn’t support the game. WWE 2K20 got horrible scores and press yet it still made top 20 over both MediEvil and Concrete Genie. That’s just sad and shows that US players have horrible taste.

    • $29.99 for an 8 hour remake of a game i already played not everybody has money to buy everything on the store

  • Are these numbers reflecting first time downloads, cause I cant believe some of these games still being in the top.

    • They are numbers for the month. Usually you see a lot of older titles included because they go on sales during the month. Something like Battlefront 2 is usually on sale for under $10 so a lot of people end up buying it for that price.

  • MediEvil and Concrete Genie failed to make top 10 for October
I wonder if Death Stranding will also fail to make top 10 for November

    • Death Stranding is too big a game to not make top 10. Kojima’s name alone pretty much secures that but the 3 years of marketing will also do that. Concrete Genie and MediEvil weren’t pushed even 10% as much as Death Stranding has been.

  • No surprise that call of duty will take number 1 spot for this month
