  • This is great stuff, but the team at PlayStation really needs to work on marketing this better within the PlayStation Ecosystem. Stuff like this, the Gear Store, and the new Direct Store need to either be integrated into the OS or have their own Apps.

I want to see PlayStation grow and succeed. Having regular tournements with cash prizes, and building a great community within the PlayStation OS and PlayStation Network would be very uplifting to see. This stuff just needs to be integrated into the system, and made flawlessly accessible to the entire PS4 userbase.

Something that would make this much easier to build excitment and community around this type of player engagement would be the return of PlayStation Home. That is the perfect place to get the community together, allow people to easily connect with friends, meet new people, and allow Sony a place to unobtrusively market these type of events.

  • I agree but at least its a start, these things happen over time. We’ve been waiting on an MLB the Show tourney for 3+ years

  • It would be awesome if you could play with your created player from the show and play with others and start a team like nba2k

  • The best sports franchise in gaming.

  • What time does this start?
