The Drop: New PlayStation Games for July 23, 2019

Featuring Wolfenstein Youngblood & Cyberpilot, Wargroove, Mighty Switch Force Collection, and more.

Fight to correct the course of history in two (count ’em!) new Wolfenstein games, both launching Friday.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood casts players as one of BJ Blazcowicz’s twin daughters, Jess and Soph, as they search for their missing father. Online co-op lets two players work together to overcome new challenges, rescue one of gaming’s most legendary icons, and ideally eradicate some Nazi scum while they’re at it.

Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot launches alongside Youngblood, but this one puts you in the action thanks to PlayStation VR. Hack into devastating war machines, use their own weapons against them, and aid the ongoing resistance against the Nazi threat.

For a full list of new games coming to PlayStation next week, read on. And enjoy The Drop!

  • Wolfstein Young looks interesting. Playstation can you please bring Ys memories of Celceta remaster give some love to the jrpg genre.

    • I’d love to play Memories of Celceta again. Platinumed it on Vita, would gladly do it again if it came out on 4.

  • I’m gonna guess Hoggy 2 is Ratalaika since its cross buy. And I’ll guess Songbird Symphony is Lovetimes You, since we’ve already seen a demo on the store.

    • You’re right about the Ratalaika game but Songbird Symphony is not from Sometimes You. It’s actually from PQube and is a quality game.

    • I’ll probably try the demo to see if I like it.

    • Smh, songbird is definitely not a sometimes you game.

Also some ratalaika games are sincerely fun if you don’t play for trophies.

I can’t believe I heard ratalaika and songbird in the same sentence tho

  • Both W games preordered too

  • if will be there a discount on days gone and gta v in this month ?

  • Umm, sorry but all I care about is the No Man’s Sky Beyond update. PSVR is getting some love indeed!

  • This Wolfenstein will be amazing like the others right? Super smooth and amazing graphics 4K is the way when playing this.

    • mschulze01010101

so you should get it on xbox one x

    • Buy a $500 multiplat machine a year before PS5 just to play Youngbloods in native 4K instead of checkerboard? Nope. I’ll keep the trophies, better controller, play Cyberpilot in VR and wait for PS5. Besides, if u care that much about multiplat performance play on PC, it outclasses xb1 x. This is PSBlog, bring your green enthusiasm to Major Nelson..

      1) i wasn’t talking to you
      2) OP wants to play it in 4K which he won’t get on PS4 Pro.

  • Nothing for me this week.

  • I just keep checking to see when The Stanley Parable will release. I cant wait for it. :/

  • Thinking about picking up Date-A-Live (love the anime) and Wargroove this week.

  • This list is incomplete as it appears Kill la Kill: IF releases today.
