  • Dream Daddy…curious…

Infinite Adventures…love DRPG but Procedural Generation. 40 hours of Voiced Dialogue….um wow.

    • Misread 40,000 words as 40 hours. 100% of the Dialogue is voiced.

Nekopara, I thought it was blocked since it was supposed to be out a few months ago.

  • Just FYI, Call of Cthulhu is also getting a retail release.

  • OMG finally, Nekopara Vol. 1!!!!! My weebness will be very content.

  • Call of Cthulhu – any other choice would be insane.

  • Taiko no Tatsujin, Dearh Mark and maybe Nekopara for me.

  • Taiko no Tatsujin! Getting this version and the one for the Switch! And after a long mysterious delay, I will be able to buy Nekopara!

    For the third time…D-don’t judge! B-baka… >.<;

  • Interesting how Dream Daddy is being released without having to apparently censor itself to adhere to the new Sony “guidelines & policies”.
While Sony seems to refuse to tell anyone what the “new rules” are now and instead redirects anyone asking about them to talk to the developers, who then proceed to redirect everyone right back to Sony because they are “following Sony’s new rules, which apparently they are not allowed to publicly disclose”.

    • Dream Daddy is by a western dev and there are no anime tiddies to offend certain people at the California HQ. Its only JP games featuring certain female body types that need to be censored.

    • Imagine if it was the other way around and American devs had to go through a Japanese group of content inspectors in Japanese. You wouldn’t stop hearing the usual “gaming websites” about racism, fascism, imperialism etc. yet because this affects small Japanese devs only, you hear nothing.

Note how almost every few days you get a new blog update here about “Dream Daddy”. Total hypocrisy
Just plain racism against Japanese culture going in here at the American PlayStation branch and a shift to appease a certain group of very loud non gamer people which I won’t mention cause I don’t want to risk being banned and lose all my digital games.

    • Why would Dream Daddy need to be censored according to these new policies you mention? I’m curious why you guys are conflating this game with anime booby games?

  • Sorry for posting this here but since there’s no way to contact Sony other than using social media (something I don’t use) I have no choice but to post here.
Please stop this new anti Japanese policy of censorship/game blocking and content inspection conducted in English for small Japanese games with fan service.
Having said that I know you won’t stop with this new policy so it’s my duty as a PlayStation player since the late 90s to tell you I won’t support your enterprise anymore other than getting the new Digimon next year if it’s not censored and MediEvil if it’s true to the original since it’s a game from the Real PlayStation Era, not what you’re doing now.
Maybe I’ll get a few other Japanese games here and there if they are not censored but rest assured it’d be 1 or 2 games a year until the end of the generation unlike the usual 20+ I buy now.
Of course PS5 is out of the question. I will not buy a PlayStation main console for the first time in 20 years.
I don’t post often here, but this will be my last post. I’ve also unsubscribed from your mailing list and will permanently disconnect my PS3 and PS4 from the internet.

    • I’m with you as well. I’ve been a Sony fanboy since the PS1. Have the PS1, PS2, PSP, PS3, even the VIta, and of course PS4, all to the exclusion of other consoles. But now I’m only planning on getting Kingdom Hearts 3 and I’ll jump ship to another console. This new policy is ridiculous and moving the HQ to California was clearly a huge mistake.

    • “I’m not going to support Sony anymore and I won’t be playing any of your games or buying anything from you! …..Except for this game and maybe this one and definitely this one and maybe a few more. But, after that, I’m definitely done! And this is my last post! Evar! Until I reply to this one. But after that, THAT will be my last post!” ROFL

  • The only real choice here is still Red Dead.

  • Cthulhu fo sho

  • How about you DROP the puritanical censorship crusade. :D If it fits the ESRB standards for M or lower, let consumers decide for themselves what they want.

  • Should probably buy Nekopara elsewhere. With the new censorship policy here its probably butchered compared to the other ALREADY ALL AGES version.

  • Call of Cthulu for me, even though Dream Daddy looks WAY creepier!!! LOL

  • They might say digital but I know that both Death Mark and Call of Cthulhu have physical releases.

  • How do I play the games I bought online or thru playstation store

    • Ok, follow these instructions: Walk up to your TV, say “Mr. Poopie Pants” 3 times while spinning in a circle, duct tape your head to your washing machine on high spin cycle while listening to “Hell Awaits” by Slayer and then run head first at full speed into your TV. This will only work if your PS4 is in rest mode, has more than 900 gigs available on the hard drive and your controller is at exactly 32% charge.

Or you could, you know, go to your library and download the games. It might work better but it won’t be as funny.

  • So who do I talk to about Resonance of Fate 4K/PS4 blocking Spotify?!?! Why is this a thing in so many JRPGs? It is a built in feature of the console like Share play, why are they going out of their way to hinder what I want to do?

Sony, please put an end to this!!!!
