PS Now Adds 10 New PS4 Games, 7-Day Trials Reset

The game-streaming service now offers over 220 total games, including The Elder Scrolls Online and Sniper Elite 4.

It’s been about a week since we launched the PS4 game download feature, and we’re adding 10 new PS4 games to the library this month, including Elder Scrolls Online and Sniper Elite 4, bringing the total to over 220 games.

The game download feature gives subscribers the option to download almost all of the 220+ PS4 games in the service to play locally with full audio and visual fidelity and DLC and add-on support (DLC and other add-ons sold separately), including Bloodborne, WWE 2K16, Until Dawn, Project Cars, NBA 2K16, and God of War 3 Remastered. All of the PS2 games in the service are downloadable as well. See here for more information on downloads and transferring save data between the PS Now save cloud and your PS4.

As of this week we have also reset the 7-day trial, so anyone not subscribed to the service as of October 2 can try out downloads for most PS4 games in the service, as well as streaming for all 650+ games in the PS Now library. Even if you previously had a paid subscription or used a 7-day trial for PS Now, you can now access the 7-day trial again to see how easy the new download feature works. The 7-day free trial (credit card required) auto-renews at $19.99 per month at the end of the trial period, unless you cancel or subscribe to a different subscription plan. So now’s the perfect time to come back and give PS Now a try!

PS Now Adds 10 New PS4 Games, 7-Day Trials Reset

Leading this month’s batch of new PS Now games is Elder Scrolls Online, the award-winning MMORPG with an ever-expanding story in a persistent online Elder Scrolls world. This is the base version of the game, and when downloaded, is compatible with all available expansions and add-on DLC (sold separately).

Also available new this month is Sniper Elite 4, with an expansive campaign for 1-2 players, co-op for 2-4 players, and competitive multiplayer for up to 12. And with your PS Now subscription, you can stream or download games in the PS Now library (not all games available for download) and play online without a PS Plus subscription. Its predecessor, Sniper Elite 3, is also available for streaming and download as part of the PS Now library.

Other new games this month include the beautiful Bound, acclaimed science-fantasy RPG Torment: Tides of Numenera, and unique titles like Styx: Shards of Darkness and 100ft Robot Golf.

  • too expensive

    • Is it? Well I don’t know if the yearly subscription is gone but with it, at $8/month access to almost 700 games? It’s a total bargain for me.

    • @Wolfing69
You have to play the games to get the value back. Many of these titles PS4 owners already own or have owned at one time. What incentive is there to play The Last of Us on PS Now when the game was literally sold for 8 dollars through PS+ already multiple times. Many of the games on the service can be purchased for about 8 to 15 dollars. You buy just one and don’t play anything else for 2 to 3 months, then you’ve already saved on not having PS Now. If they did day to date releases, then maybe people would have a reason too, but that isn’t even getting into all the technical hurdles.

  • Would love to see more PS2 games like NFS Underground, Tony Hawks underground & American wasteland, Sims Bustin Out, Simpsons Road Rage.

  • Would be lovely if you’d put the GOTY edition of Bloodborne on PSNow. I had it at one point, played it, now I can’t play Bloodborne on PSNow (continue my save), because it doesn’t have the DLC.

  • A great month. I’ve been meaning to get back into Elder Scrolls Online. Carmageddon, Styx, and Torment catch my eye, too. I downloaded 100ft Robot Golf to see if it would work with my PS VR, and I was pleased to find out it does!

  • I would be willing to pay for PS Now if I can change my main PSN account’s country to the US. I already have another US PSN account, but I can’t play PS3 games from the PS Now on my main non US PSN account since they don’t have the download game feature.

  • To much now if you make it a package deal with ps plus at maybe 100 for the year im in if not backwards compatibility please cuz this a rip off

  • The games seem to differ between region, can you do a US and Europe update?

  • I assume 100ft Robot Golf and Bound do not include PSVR support.

  • What about PS3 downloadable games from ps now and new ps2 classic games on ps4 ? a lot of people are waiting for them.

  • 240 bucks a year is freaking ridiculous such a rip off FU Sony

  • Poner el lego marvel 2 y el infamous secon son y el unravel por fa vor

  • 19.99 a month is way to expensive. Maybe if it came with day one PlayStation exclusives such as spiderman, good of war and others. Competitive companies offer more at a better price.

  • Fallout New ‘Vega’

  • $20 a month is ridiculous for this service. It’s an automatic no because of it.

  • Abend zusammen.
    Fand Playstation Now gut.

  • It’s just not worth the price. It’s a great service with tons of great games but the tech isn’t the greatest with a lot of issues making it much less of a value than buying games individually. I might sub if it was $10-$15 looking at other comparable services, pricing, and quality, but $20 is a deal breaker. I think $12-$15 (if it were a 20% off PS Plus discount bundle) would be the sweet spot.

I appreciate that Sony listened to so many people asking to make these most titles downloadable. Unfortunately, that’s not enough but it’s a great step in the right direction. It still needs a reduction in price, then you’ll have a stellar, competitive service for everyone to enjoy..

  • I think Sony should also release the PS NOW on the PS3. So that we can also download games on that system.

  • Games are way to expensive, when do we see the screen I’d login name change?

  • Thanks alaa

  • Ps Now Is great and all but most games you would like to see aren’t on there, especially older ones from ps3 and ps2. Me myself when i heard about the opportunity to be able to play older games i was excited until i searched for multiple games two of th very many being the original bloodrayne and bloodrayne 2 and couldn’t find them, instead i was let down by what’s suppose to be a remake which is utterly disappointing
