I need some help understanding A Way Out online co-op. Ok, I know that just one person needs the game and that person can give a token to a friend to download the game and play it. And that friend needs PS+.
1) But is it like SharePlay where it is only a hour a time or can the person play longer than 60mins at a time?
2) Can you give a token to more than one friend or just only one (obviously one at a time)? But let’s say I beat the game with friend A and want to play it with friend B, can I give another token?
From what I’ve seen the your friend can download a free version of the game and that token is used to allow them to access the game but they can only play with you. The token is a one time use and I doubt there’s a time limit to how long your allowed to play with that person
It connects through EA servers, not peer to peer
You both need an EA account to play
It is only playable in co-op and for many that means relying on online friends
Sooner rather than later EA will no doubt shut down the servers for it so they can use them for something else
You can give a “Token” to as many friends as you like and play with them as long as you like.
Both people would need PS+ to play online together.
As the paid player you get to choose which character you want to play as and track towards achievements.
Im unsure how this token system or whatever will work but your friend can play through the entire game with you. Its in one of the trailers on the PS store where the dev is mentioning this. Pretty cool I say!
