Sony. I hope you really consider having an NVIDIA graphics card for PS5.
You can still have Rysen CPU AMD and possibly even make it dual GPU having both AMD and NVIDIA graphics.
I may just be dreaming and it may never come true.
But here’s why I want you to consider NVIDIA. Because it does better graphics than AMD. BY A LOT.
It’s not just a matter of having more Teraflops or Overall Better Performance for similar Teraflops.
It’s also Nvidia own graphics settings that can be added on 3rd party games that makes it real interesting.
While Intel CPU was great, the fact that they were too expensive were the reason why Sony went with AMD and it was a good bet. Now that AMD has released Rysen. It’s CPU is on par with Intel for half the cost. So AMD partnerships must not be broken. Not to mention the problem Intel had recently with security.
I would not throw away AMD, they are very much valuable for PS5.
I’d like to see a partnership between Sony PlayStation, AMD and Nvidia and that both GPUs work together like Cross Fire and SLI. Which if you were to make it happen, would be the first to make it and beat Microsoft promise to make it happened but didn’t. Another way you’d beat Microsoft at their own game.
