Three Vita videos!!!
I owned Shadow of the Colossus on PS2 and PS3. The PS4 version looks so good, I might just get it again.
Mercenary Kings. Say what, a game on Vita that I might actually be interested in? Sadly, I am not interested in the jrpgs or some of the weird Japanese Vita imports (I prefer a Capcom type Japanese games like Mega Man or Devil May Cry). Mercenary Kings and Steamworld Dig 2 are the two recent games, that I might dust off the Vita for. More games like these please.
I know to a lot of people this is not important but it is to me. Please can you also re-release the PS2 version of Shadow of the Colossus? I wish that when a game is remastered or remake, the original version is also re-released too. Thanks.
I’m not criticizing but I am curious. Why would you want a PS2 version of SotC? This is a faithful remake and is basically just a PS4 version of the same game that was on PS2. I suppose for nostalgia sake maybe? It wouldn’t make much sense financially for Sony to release a PS2 classic of a $40 PS4 game they are releasing at the same time.
@DeGarmo2, faithful and exact are not the same thing. It is like saying, why watch the theatrical version of the original Star Wars trilogy when the special edition is a faithful remastered. There are changes to this version. Therefore, I believe both the original and the remastered/remake version of every game should be re-released. It does not have to be day and date but eventually. This is not a new idea. You can play both the X360 and XB1 version of Rayman Legends, BioShock series, Stick of Truth, etc. You can play both the original Gears of War and the remastered version on XB1. SNK and Hamster have been re-releasing both the console and arcade versions of several games. There are two versions of Art of Fighting, Metal Slug, etc in the PSN store. Nintendo sells both the original and remaster of several Mario and Zelda games. Choice and options are good!
You can play the original SotC on PS Now,
@Frankyle09 the original SotC came out on PS2. PS2 games are not on PS Now. The SotC that is on PS Now is the PS3 HD remastered. I am asking about the PS2 version. And if it is was on PS Now, I won’t use it.
Lol man the PS3 version of SotC is the same version of the PS2 one…its just in HD.Unlike this PS4 version which has changes like you mentioned.
