Rockstar's acclaimed detective thriller gets upgraded for PS4, with extra enhancements for PS4 Pro players.
Today, we’re proud to announce that a new version of the blockbuster detective thriller L.A. Noire is scheduled to release on November 14, 2017 for PlayStation 4.
Set against the seedy and violent underbelly of 1940’s Los Angeles, L.A. Noire is the story of decorated veteran and newly minted detective Cole Phelps as he investigates an escalating series of cases inspired by real-world crimes. Each successfully solved case brings Phelps greater success, but also brings him closer to the dark criminal heart of post-war L.A.
L.A. Noire for PlayStation 4 delivers the complete original game and all additional downloadable content with a range of technical enhancements for greater visual fidelity and authenticity, including enhanced lighting and clouds, high resolution textures and more. Plays natively in 1080p for the PlayStation 4 console, and stunning 4K for PlayStation 4 Pro, this version captures the grit and grime of the City of Angels like never before.

Hopefully this leads to some kind of sequel, prequel or even spinoff. I loved the game on last gen. This would be pretty amazing on PlayStation VR. Any hopes for a PSVR version? Either way L.A. Noire is criminally underrated in my eyes. Happy I’ll be able to play it again with all the DLC included. This is a pleasant morning surprise.
There’s an HTC VIBE EXCLUSIVE VR Version but that is for the PC …..
I don’t think PS VR can run this game….
I don’t agree with @pablikenmy79:
This is quite an old game, just “polished”. We will see, how good this polishing is, but it should be run nice on PSVR. And even if they create special VR missions (like they claimed) it shouildn’t be an issue to reduce the resolution to make this run on PSVR. Especially not on the Pro.
There isn’t much movement there. So this should require much less power than a racing game for example. If Dirt runs smoothly on PSVR, this should be, tool
Nonetheless. This all does not really matter if they made an exclusive deal with HTC, sadly…
