PlayStation.Blog has questions about Pyre, and goes straight to the source (Supergiant's San Francisco headquarters) to get answers. Then, they — somewhat foolishly — challenge them to a multiplayer match.
It’s hard to believe it’s been three years since Transistor launched. It’s even harder to believe we’re on the verge of playing a new Supergiant game! Pyre launches Tuesday, but I couldn’t wait until then to learn more about it, so I went straight to the source to get some answers.
Please enjoy this interview with Greg Kasavin, recorded on location at Supergiant’s San Francisco headquarters, and the following PlayStation (me) vs. Supergiant (Greg) battle royale in Pyre’s robust local multiplayer mode. I won’t spoil who wins, but I will make the excuse that he spent the last few years making the darn game, c’mon.
ANYWAY. There’s still time (assuming you’re reading this before the game launches) to pre-order Pyre at PlayStation Store and save 10%.
Let us know in the comments if you have any last-minute questions about Pyre, and I’ll do my best to answer. Maybe if we’re lucky, Greg will see this and hop in the comments too. If we say his name three times he has to appear, right?
