Tickets Update: We’re looking into issues users are having getting tickets to this year’s E3 Experience. Stay tuned for updates.

5/31 Update — Some changes and updates on ticket and seat availability:

  • Ticket registration will open today, Wednesday 5/31/17, at 1:30PM PT.
  • There was a brief system test last night which allowed a small number of tickets to be claimed. As of this morning there are still plenty of tickets remaining at each theater.
  • If you received a ticket confirmation email you are guaranteed a seat at the event if you present your valid ticket at least 30 minutes before show time.
  • We will be admitting those without tickets on a first-come first-served basis after all present ticket holders are seated.

E3 is almost here and I’m excited to announce that the PlayStation E3 Experience is returning for 2017! Join us on Monday, June 12th in over 85 theaters across the United States, Canada, and Latin America.

This is the fourth year we’re broadcasting our E3 Press Conference live to theaters across North America and I can’t wait to bring the excitement of E3 straight to you. Watching the announcements and news alongside other members of the PlayStation community is an experience like no other.

Attendees will take home an exclusive poster and #76 from the PlayStation Collectable Card series. This will be the only way to get your hands on these, so don’t miss out! Want more than just limited edition swag? We’ve got you covered — everyone will also get a digital gift basket chock-full of goodies from PlayStation Store.

Tickets for US and Canada

Tickets are 100% free and will be available at playstation.com/E3experience starting Tuesday, May 30th at 10:00 AM PT while supplies last. To register for a ticket, you will need to create a free Gofobo account. Tickets will be sent to the email address used to create your Gofobo account.

Attendees who have registered for a ticket will be seated on a first-come, first-served basis until the theater reaches capacity. Make sure to arrive early! Receiving a ticket does not guarantee you a seat. Attendees must be 17 years of age or older to attend this event. A valid form of ID providing age will be required to enter.

    So believe it or not buy I actually got tickets this morning and only after battling the servers for over 15 mins. I knew this was doomed when I peaked at their site yesterday. So sorry everyone. #forthefansgetabetterticketprovider

    the website gofobo.com is now up and running. I was able to make an account however it is now asking to redeem a validation code to get the tickets. Does anyone know what the code is?

      It’s a redirect bug you came across. Technically the code is supposed to be PlaystationE32017. It’s in the original URL we’ve been refreshing.

      It’s coming up as an invalid code for PlaystationE32017. I talked to someone via support chat from playstation about the issue. They said to follow this blog and that they are fully aware of the issue and currently have their engineers trying to solve the issue.

      Also, when I try to go back to the original page on playstation and enter the website through “buy tickets”, it takes me straight to the invalid code screen.

    Getting a blank screen to. I tried downloading the app it is connecting but keeps saying my email is already used.

    never heard of gofobo till today so I know I am not registerd. Seems they are slooowwwly getting it done.

    For those of you encountering invalid code errors, please go back to the URL provided in the blog post above, click the Get Tickets button, and keep refreshing that page. When the site fully works, you should not be hitting that error.

      That gets you to the event landing page, but there are no listed events for it yet. This also happens for normal screenings on this site when the screening is locked behind a code.

    I was finally able to access the Gofobo site (and created an account), to claim a ticket for the PlayStation Experience event; however, I’m receiving the error “INVALID CODE” after clicking the link.

    Is this an error, or does this mean all available tickets for the event are no longer available?

    I do apologize if this has been asked already (long list of topics).

      It means they still haven’t fixed their site. Hang in there, none of us have tickets except for the very few lucky ones who managed it seven hours earlier. There should still be loads of spots.

    7 Hours…7 Hours, with nothing but a “We’ll give you more information later” 4 HOURS AGO! This is such a slap in the face to your loyal fans who love this company and want to show their support. It’s insulting to all of us that you continue to give no information and admit that you messed up by going with some bs company called gofobo that no one has ever heard of, but you are trusting to handle your customers and fans. Grow a pair and do something and communicate to the people who are obviously passionate about this event to sit here refreshing for over 7 hours for the chance to go with nothing in return.

    I got two tickets for OH early this afternoon and when I tried to get my friends tickets on their account it went down. Now was able to get their account setup and now getting there’s no tickets available!!!! Sony needs to fix this and fast or just tell people to just show up for the show!!!

      ME! But Sony has a habit of never learning from their mistakes. By going with crappy old Gofobo they should have told them about the type of traffic to anticipate. That or Gofobo should have done some research themselves. Honestly Sony… why try fix something that isn’t broken? Eventgrid was just fine!

    Go Hobo is run from a small shed behind a cozy chinchilla farm 200 miles southeast of Vegas. There’s obviously no cell coverage there and Sony courier pigeons are still enroute. Since they encourage panhandling on the premises for training purposes, alpha hobo will be alerted quickly and site will be back up in a few days.

    Maybe we’re just hammering it too much? Maybe their monitoring traffic to see when the hits and the refreshes slow down and then they’ll open it up. I’m too impatient lol. Plus I keep telling myself, it’s free. I can’t be too upset.

    I don’t know how people got tickets this morning. I was on that “Get Tickets” button from minute 4 (10:04am PT) when they actually updated the page. And every single time I’ve tried clicking it, all I get is errors. Not once have I seen any kind of page load since it launched this morning. At least I got on there yesterday to create an account, so I’ve saved myself that little bit of time. But seriously, this is heinously bad.

      Ive been on since the minute the Get Tickets appeared & also set up a Gofobo account early to save time.
      Nothing but errors & loading screens here.
      Thankfully I had the day off & have multiple monitors so Ive had House of Cards playing.
      Theres been an unacceptable level of support from Sony. Hope they can make it right with the fans.

      i used Microsoft edge and internet explorer to get my tickets (Learned from other betas and site crashes). Chrome NEVER worked for me. Not sure about Firefox. I refreshed about every minute or so.

    I just contacted PlayStation’s live support chat, and of course the support rep couldn’t help much:

    “We do not have any update at this time. We have received reports of high traffic when attempting to access the site. We would advise that you try again at a later time.”

    Who knows when this’ll be fixed? We’re heading into 8 hours now.

    It’s been real. Good luck to anyone who’s gonna keep on keeping on but I can’t sit here for the rest of the night, I spent a full work day’s equivalent in time sitting here mashing refresh on a just plain awful ticket distributor. Hopefully it comes up soon so you’re not all stuck waiting through the night. Guess this’ll be the first experience I skip.
