  • Back to invalid code…

  • playstation please fix this i have been at this for over 8.5 hours I have went to all 3 previous years and dont want to miss out because of something stupid like this

  • so i either get the invalid code page, or the main Gofobo page…

  • i keep getting either “find events near you” or the 404 url not found……this sucks i also have been at this since 1pm EST non stop and i have gone every year. (NYC) come on sony fix this please!

  • Hopefully they did what the Xbox fanfest people did: clear the current tickets and let us start from scratch with something that works.

  • I still can’t get a ticket. Tried IE, Firefox, and Safari, all to no avail.

  • I”ve been trying since the site went live.

    I get invalid code.

I’ve tried resetting browsers, cache, history, etc.

Tried different browsers, locations, vpns, devices, etc.

    Still nothing.

I’ve been every year, and I’ll be bummed if I don’t get to make it this year because of gofobobobobobo

  • I managed to get tickets, erased my cookies and history then closed and reopened my browser. That seemed to do the trick. Also when the right window comes up there’s no code entry necessary. Good luck everyone hope you all get some tickets ^^

  • Finally got into a working website but now it says “Code Invalid” when I click the link on the link on the Playstation E3 website.

  • Yeah.
It seems like it is just straight up luck.
    Some get it, some don’t.
I have tried everything that has been mentioned on this thread.
    Multiple computers.
    Multiple browsers.
    Multiple Apps.
    Going through the link.
Typing in PlaystationE32017 as the redemption code.

    Nothing.
This is straight hot garbage. 8h 45m and this is what I get out of it.

  • Been camping at the gofobo site almost 9 hours ago ;_;
Hope the ticket doesn’t get sold out before I can even get my foot into the bloody site..

  • what is the code ugh

  • Trying all day for this as well. IE, Chrome, Safari, phone, tablet nothing works. This was a tradition going to this every year and is extremely disappointing & disheartening knowing that it may just not happen this year. Why Sony would just change to a different ticket vendor when the previous vendor worked just fine baffles me. This is just a case of begin woefully unprepared for the number of fans, some who drive hours, wanting to consume the Sony E3 presentation in an epic theatre experience. Please do better, Thanks.

  • https://www.gofobo.com/main/local_movie_screenings/740 try that… It’s SO CLOSE!

It shows no listings, does this mean it’s all sold out, or just BS? Any URL wizards figure out anything else?

  • most of us have been trying for the last 9 hours to get tickets out of this thing. sony needs to be more careful about who they outsource to. eventgrid might not have been great, but they never had this big of a disaster.

  • I can navigate the site just fine on Chrome, IE, and Firefox. Still telling me no screenings found.

    Whatever.

  • This is bs!! Sony just need to give away these tickets as they trusted a company that could bot handle the pressure. Trying to get my friend ticket and it keep getting the “we’re sorry”

It’s time for them to own up tp this and say hey its free to all that shows up!!

  • keep in mind the reservations are not guaranteed seats. If I don’t get a ticket I am still going. I figure If I show up early enough I just might get in . Not gonna hold my breath tho

  • /main/local_movie_screenings/740

This might be it….shows no listings. Are we screwed?

  • Hi Guys and Gals, I’ve awoken for Dinner =D Is the GofoBo E3 Link back online?

All I see is the Invalid Code screen

Tell me it ain’t so. I already cleared browsing tracks and history

  • I’m pretty sure it’s still not working, because I put in my zip code and no screenings of anything are popping up, and the PS event says like everyone else, no screenings available. I’m hoping it’s just not working and not actually gone already. I’ve gone twice, and they never went this fast before.

  • felt that doesn’t worth trying the site over and over from this point until some official word comes out, I debut they will pay overtime for their stuff to handling this. The site workers perfectly fine, the code and the screening page are all saying invalid or unavailable. Anyway, I think keep eyes on this post is the best way to do right now

  • Hope not. I’ve never been able to get to that screen and nothing local has ever popped up for me. Starting to wonder if they just straight up cancelled Denver screenings or if this is all error still.

    • https://www.gofobo.com/main/local_movie_screenings/740 you should be able to find this by browsing, I felt right now, unless sony comes out say something about the whole situation, they will just stand by and make it unavailable, rather than surprise every body who give up earlier or don’t have access of enough information, which is even wroth. It is already 7 in PDT anything after that will just make them looking even worse and irresponsible.

  • does everyone just keep getting the invalid code screen

  • You know what they say:

Don’t enter into a raffle draw at the earliest time. It’s always the ones in the middle or close to the end that win. Never the front of the pack

  • Can’t believe this… so disappointed

  • I don’t know what’s worse not getting tickets, or having to stare at this Far Cry 5 advertisement for 10 hours….

    • Or knowing that gofobo get tons of traffic though us spamming f5 with their anti adblocker ad

  • My guess is that Sony will probably come out with an official message within the next day or so and announce a way for those who didn’t get tickets to get one. I mean so very little people have been able to get their hands on a ticket and it doesn’t even show the event in anyone’s local area, def a sitewide bug for sure.

    • You can only fit so many into a movie theater though. I doubt they will do that.

    • How do you figure so very little have been able to get their hands on a ticket when it looks like they’re basically all gone?

  • I’m getting on the site but it doesn’t say anything about playstation or what to do

    • That where I’m stuck at too.

    • that’s an error. instead of going to the invalid code page it’s dumping you to the home page. try typing gofobo.com into your browser if you need a confirmation on that.

  • CAn someone explain to me how one gets a code? Or how they will be provided, because the site is running again but it says invalid code entered.

    • there is no code its basically another error screen

    • PlaystationE32017 which is suppose to be the code if you click on the link,(you can get the lick by copy the link of get ticket button), I bet they took it down and wait sony’s response before make it available again, it was briefly working before 6 and short unavailable again and handful of ppl able to get some tickets.

  • SaviorRoseDragon

Man that I thought trying to buy hard to get exclusive focal pops online a pain in the ass at least those websites work this is terrible

  • who all is still trying?

    • me still invalid code or no screenings at all if you add this on the end /main/local_movie_screenings/740

  • So I’m on my 15 minute break at work and after SERVAL Attempts at this. I’m mad.

I’ve tried codes people thought of. I tried clearing cookies. I tried various links. I tried refreshing every 5 minutes. Everything.

I’m half temped to straight up go to the theatre that day and explain what happened and see if they will just let me in. If not then just watch it from home that day.

Unless Playstation is creating a work around for this error. (Which I’d assume they are) or if GOFOBO Is working on a new set of codes or tickets (which i hope) then I’m done.

    • This isn’t Sony’s to fix on the technical side. Whoever maintains the gofob site has (had) the responsibility.

  • One thing to keep in mind is that a lot of theaters have revamped their screens to include bigger reclining seats. That’s knocked out a lot of seating that used to be there by close to half. Instead of having a capacity of 160 seats it’s now closer to 70 or 80. I’ve been shut out of showings this year that I wouldn’t have a year before because of that. It’s not out of the realm of possibility that these screenings just went lightning quick because of that.

    • IF that is the case, sony will come out and tell us they sold out the ticket or couple PR will be fried by not doing their job. It is obvious that the site was crashed for most of the day and on both twitter and exact post on this thread were saying they acknowledge the situation and ask us to wait for further update.

    • That could be one possibility, sure. However, that still doesn’t excuse the users who are still receiving “INVALID CODE” redirects. x.x

To be honest, it may have been in Sony’s best interest to work with theaters to sell the tickets via their websites instead of Gofobo. The internet traffic wouldn’t be nearly as bad as this. I don’t know what’s worse: NYCC’s virtual check-out line or this.

  • SagittariusX159

What a waste of time trying to get tickets

  • SaviorRoseDragon

they should just do it on ps store and send ticket to the psn account email address. this is retarded. gofobo u suck. they probably all went home for the day

  • I wouldn’t imagine if anything would happen if all of the people here messaged playstation about this, tho I already made a post, but they did say stay tuned for updates

  • I have spent too much of my time on this to not get a freaking ticket.

  • it’s been over 9 hours… Just say something to us! If you tell us to come back at another time then that’s fine. No one wants to leave in case it comes up randomly and miss out on a ticket they have been trying for too long to get.

    Please update us!

    • this ^^^^ %1000

    • Welp they did just that. They gave an update via Twitter.

“Still investigating E3 Experience ticketing issues. We’ve pulled the site for now & will have an update tomorrow. Thanks for your patience.”

So I’ll stop trying now. Sad we can’t get a time frame. It’s gonna really be sad when people don’t get in who has been trying all day

Sad it took this long but at least it’s something. See ya’ll tomorrow, good luck!

  • Even the blog is messed up now, for a moment there I was signed as another PSN user someone called karsters

    • i had the same problem earlier as two different users

    • I got that as well. And the first couple times I tried to reply it said I was a couple of different PSN users.

I have been lurking in the comments all day but I don’t know if that would make a difference?

  • playstation just updated twitter they will announce something tomorrow

  • SlyCooperFan100

    From PlayStation’s Twitter:

“Still investigating E3 Experience ticketing issues. We’ve pulled the site for now & will have an update tomorrow. Thanks for your patience.”

    • its like they were listening XD, but tomorrow could be in like a hour for some, or it already is tomorrow, thinking if I should still stay here and refresh

  • There’s an update on twitter.

  • Update on Playstation’s Twitter

“Still investigating E3 Experience ticketing issues. We’ve pulled the site for now & will have an update tomorrow. Thanks for your patience.”

Who is “We’? GoFoBo is managed by Playstation?

Anyways, We can all go sleep now =D

  • Are the tickets sold our already for all the Canadian cities? Searched my address on gofobo and said no events were scheduled in my area? My city is Winnipeg, MB

    • SlyCooperFan100

You can’t search by address, it won’t show you anything. They’ve pulled it for now, we’ll have to hear about any further updates soon.

  • We’re all here waiting for GOFOBO to fix this… but what if the employees have already gone home for the day and not an actual F**K was given (Considering it’s 10:30pm where I’m at and 7:30PM on the other coast so shift over, PEACE!)

    • it’s a done deal for today. Playstation’s twitter now says “Still investigating E3 Experience ticketing issues. We’ve pulled the site for now & will have an update tomorrow. Thanks for your patience.”

    • just got the notification on that… FML

  • Trying for toronto.Have tried clearing cookies used microsoft edge, chrome and even safari on my iphone. Invalid code everytime. This is bull been trying on and off for 9 and a half hrs now…..

  • This reminds me of ‘Silicon Valley’.

  • If play station really want to share their achievement with users, they should choice a “stable and strong” website, but they didn’t. Many users, like me, take almost a day, and try many ways to open the website, but for play station and Gofobo, they still no feedback for users. “E3 Press Conference live to theaters” should be a good opportunity to attract new users, but right now, it’s very disappoint for users. At least, it’s very disappoint for me.

  • HEY READ THIS ONE, Twitter just said they pulled the site for now and will have updates tomorrow. I’ll try with y’all again tomorrow xoxoxo
