  • Starblood Arena, Yooka Laylee, + So many more awesome Indie Games.. Wow yet another Great wk for the PlayStation Store..

    • Rapturesassassin

The words awsome and indies in the same sentence. Has hell frozen over? Usely its indies are trash in the same sentence on this blog

    • Raptureassassin, no, hell hasn’t frozen over.
Your use of the word “usely” signifies that your grammar has frozen over.

  • Even after buying Stardew Valley 4 times already, I’m going to pick up the physical CE just to keep supporting Concerned Ape. This game is just so freaking good.

    • Haha. I read an email last night that my retail copy shipped as well. Totally forgot because I have digital copies on three systems myself. Love it! :)

  • No mention of Skyforge? I thought it came out on the 11th as well.

  • Cosmic Star Heroine looks like a cool throwback to 16 bit era RPG’s.

  • Crawl looks so amazing. It has an incredible steam rating too!!

  • One would think that the current week’s crap sales would indicate a flash sale or big releases next week. Apparently , one would be wrong

  • And still another week without ape escape 3

  • Wow, quite a variety coming this Tuesday! I’ve had Crawl and CSH on my radar for quite some time. I’ll be spending most of my time this weekend playing Drawn to Death – really enjoying how that turned out :-D

  • Why is “The Drop” still the worst list of new releases? No price, no link, and one single piece of art work. Pointless waste of our time and yours. Do something useful.

    • I agree, this is the post they should of gotten rid of. The Tuesday update was way more useful. Fire whoever does this and rehire the update guy/gal

    • I agree with Xiaoinstyle (I like that user id!) and tobi_tenma. It’s useful criticism to keep saying what many have said already. Bring back the sale lists. It was convenient. Heck, Xbox does it officially not once but twice, through their blog, majornelson, and the main site. Here on the PS blog the Store Update was an equally convenient list to rummage through. It was ESPECIALLY CONVENIENT for those of us who support Sony by owning PS4s, PS3s, and PSTV/Vita. It was great to be able to look in one place for sale titles for all four devices! Maybe if you own just one device, you might be like, what’s the big deal–just sign in. Of course for them it’s easier. Equally, on the web store page, the presentation isn’t as convenient as the one big list that the Store Update had.

Again, I find people who are bringing this up to be way more on point than someone who just complains about people wanting to help improve the blog.

    • On Tuesday when the games go live in the store The Drop gets updated with links and prices. Just check out last week’s

    • I agree completely… lazy and lacking.

  • Vita!!!!!

  • In for Cosmic Star Heroine. Will have to find time for it in between Persona 5 marathons.

  • Rapturesassassin

And nothing for me this week. Oh well i got enough in the old backlog to keep me busy till May when Prey comes out. Not included in that backlog Mass Effect Andromeda and Persona 5. Oh and 16 comments in without someone mentioning the update blog. I guess the trolls got bored of that.

  • Cosmic Star Heroine and Yooka-Laylee in the same week? WOOOOOOOOOO

  • Starblood Arena!!! Finally a new PSVR game that might be worth its price! Hoping it will be as good as RIGS.

  • Another nice week. Cosmic Star Heroine looks awesome, glad I pre-ordered.

  • Does anyone using Chrome get any error loading when they go to the playstation store site right now?

  • Yooka Laylee is the only game that matters to me this coming week. been really hype for this game ever since I saw it on kickstarter 2 or 3 ago. So excited to finally get to play the soul successor to the game that I really enjoyed as a child.

  • Id rather they released Cave Story on PS4 rather than Kero Blaster. Cave Story hasnt been released on any Sony Platform not even the PS Vita. Its such an awesome game

  • Hi Ryan, I hope you’re fine and doing very well, please there isn’t one high budget Japanese first party game from Sony, I like and buy all the first party western games from Sony but variety is good, if not possible then 3 or 4 medium budget Japanese games, action/adventure, RPG, or psychological horror.

Maybe Sony can fund the canceled Suda 51 game Kurayami:

Thank you so much for your efforts and for the great console.

  • ……….

  • i’m gonna say something weird:

  • Sony needs to make games free that ive heard of like minecraft call of duty any other game besides just indie games pleasee

  • Eeeeeee!!!

  • Preordered Cosmic Star Heroine. Can’t wait for it to come out on Vita; it looks like it will be a perfect fit for the console!

  • Is it me or does the Euro Fishing guy look like Navyth from FF XV?

  • you can always get 5 games for $1 The Book of Unwritten Tales 2, Red Faction, Super Dungeon Bros., Deponia, and ArcaniA: The Complete Tale from Humble too

  • Might check out the Euro Fishing and Snow Moto Racing game. I’ll leave the commodor 64 and PS1 games to those who love that sort of thing.

  • 2 weeks in a row with **** for sales in US. Meanwhile, Europe gets 2 weeks of big spring/easter sales. Great job SCEA. Biggest sale we got last week was gta5, this week is Elder Scrolls stuff, you know, 5-6yr old content. Yay. Thanks sooo much.
