  • PlayStation VR demo disc
  • Until Dawn: Rush of Blood

It’s only been three months since we launched PS VR and the game lineup looks to be incredibly strong in 2017. I’m super excited about a few PS VR games in the year ahead, with Farpoint, Golem, Gran Turismo Sport, Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin and Star Trek: Bridge Crew in my sights. Hope you all get a chance to pick up a PS VR headset and enjoy these for yourself. We love the PlayStation Nation’s passion for this platform and I can’t wait for what’s coming in 2017!

  • When are these expected to hit Amazon?

  • Funny how everyone saying they won’t pay more for an accessory than they did the PS4. When Sony said themselves it would soon be the other way around. The VR headset will be the main console and have its own accessorys rather than the PlayStation being the main console

  • I really do not understand all the comments about the price being too high… have they not even bothered to check the prices of other similar VR products, like Oculus Rift and the HTC Vive. Sony’s VR is practically a steal by comparison… which also explains why they not only sold out of PSVR headsets very early on, and why people have been paying as much as twice the retail price on ebay.

That said, yeah, all of these VR headsets currently cost too much for mass market appeal. They are and will be niche products for those that can afford to enjoy them, until which time the prices come down as the costs of development is paid off, and the cost of manufacturing them goes down.

In the meantime, the early adopters will and are paying a premium to enjoy this new technology – and helping pave the way for the costs to go down for everyone else. Win win.

  • Been checking everywhere all month and no one has even heard of this. They keep telling me that the holiday pack has been sold out. Here it is, March, and this still doesn’t exist. I’m not buying any of this separate until there’s a price drop…
