Yeah and some other free dlc..but nobody would know because the Blog just stopped doing the update posts. That is the #1 most ‘essential’ post they should always have.
There is nothing wrong with Final Fantasy Pre-orders. The tricky part was to pre-order smartest way possible which was and Amazon.com pre-order. I actually saved in total $15.00 by pre-ordering it there. and about $20.00 on season pass. I just wish other developers done the same. Nothing is really wrong with Final Fantasy pre-order DLCs. In fact I feel bad fir those who didn’t pre-order it on Amazon, because they now have to pay nearly $20.00 for all that…
well i think Kingsglaive game from EBgames /Gamestop was the best choice because you can’t get em on PSN or on Amazon.

If you bought it within the last couple days, like, over the weekend, try calling them or doing the live chat thing. I’ve seen quite a few people say that Sony is usually willing to refund the difference when you buy something right before it goes on sale. If it was more than a week ago though, you might be out of luck.

If you bought it in the last 7 days, call support and they will refund difference onto your account. I’ve done it once before.
Are they no longer doing the PS store Update post? I liked seeing the new DLC and all the stuff that I missed during the week. I guess the weekly drop is kinda like a store update.
I’m with you. I just spent an hour looking through the store to find what is new, what demos or dlc is out. Found an external site that lists everything. Will start going there from now on. Ridiculous that we have to do that

It’s nice to have this separate but now they took out the update?! So now to see demos or dlc we have to spend 45 mins wondering what’s in there. I’m forced to use a non-Sony website for the updates. Ridiculous from a corporation
What ever happened to the Store update blogs? I liked being able to see all the new games and add-ons in one location.
This is a Huge issue with me. We have to go through 9 pages (5 of which are avatars), to see what’s new in the store? I didn’t even know there’s a bunch of FFXV dlc out today. Can’t depend on this site for anything anymore and have to go to non-Sony webpages

What’s it been now, three, four weeks since we’ve had a Store Update post? The Drop blog posts are useless compared to the Update ones, and I’m glad to see so many others here miss the Update posts. They led to me buying tons of stuff on the Store that I wasn’t even aware was there. You’re losing out on sales of all the smaller, lesser-advertised content when you stopped doing Update posts.
Really sucks that out of nowhere we don’t get new stuff on the store anymore. Do I have to go back to buying blu-rays? No more indie games? Ah well :(
Bring back the store update post. The webstore is garbage to navigate, the store on psn isn’t much better. Is it really THAT difficult to put up a post you’ve been doing for years? The drop posts are useless to me personally when compared to the store updates. I don’t care about what might be coming out this week, I want to know what comes out today.
I’ve noticed I spend less on the PSN since the store updates went away. That’s good for me, I do have a backlog.

Trails of Cold Steel is on sale… if you haven’t played it, I cannot recommend it enough. It is the first chapter of what is the best JRPG I’ve ever played. :)
I’m starting to think inFamous: Second Son & First Light won’t ever be on sale :( That said, $30 for ‘Return to Arkham’ sure seems tempting.
Just wait. Second Son was just on sale about 4-5 weeks ago in one of the Holiday sales. Also First Light was given for free and when it hits a sale it’ll be dirt cheap like it was last time.

I am in agreement with many others that it would be nice to have an update blog post every week. Why has that become so much of a problem all of a sudden? It just seems like further proof that Sony doesn’t give a damn about it’s customers/fans. I used to read that post so that I would know exactly what was new as some things didn’t appear on the Drop. I even bought some of it at full price too. I guess now I’m buying everything based on sales because hell if I’m going to spend an hour wading around the store looking for what’s new. So in the end, I guess I can thank you, Sony, because you’re actually saving me money in the long run.
Crypt of the NecroDancer is an incredible game, and it’s cross-buy between PS4 and Vita. Go get that game!
I’d like to add my request to bring back the store update posts. I enjoyed both that post and the Drop, but for me the weekly store update posts are far more valuable than the Drop if I had to pick one.
It seems like a no-brainer to surface what games are released and any new content/sales.

So with a huge library of “dead” PS3 games that noone is buying anymore, why arent they reducing the price and trying to sell as much as possible? There is no downside at all, either make $0 from those games, or sell dirt cheap and at least make something. Plus you may introduce these games to new audiences possibly creating new fans. Seems simple enough.

Please, please, PLEASE bring back the weekly Store Update. It was an invaluable resource. It NEEDS to come back. Whenever I would take surveys for the site, I would always list that as being the primary reason why I came to the PS Blog. Hell, the first few weeks of the year, I thought there was no Store update that week, so I didn’t bother checking the Store. You’re missing out on sales, Sony.
I’d like to buy Transistor, but I’ve seen it on flash sales before for $5, multiple times (which was before I got a ps4). Once it’s on sale for $4.99 again, I’ll buy it.
What about Soma? I think that is by far the lowest price I’ve seen. What do u all think of Soma?
Soma is GREAT, and definitely worth the $12 non-Plus asking price. I’ve only played it on PC though, so I can’t speak as to how the PS4 version runs. Before you buy it, you should definitely look into it and make sure that it’s going to play smoothly.
