Resident Evil 6, with all DLC for under $5 …. should I do it blog?
It sold so much, but hated on so much. Should I skip this, or find a cheap physical for under $5?
If it was free, I would say skip it. But if you have to play it, this deal is about as good as you’ll ever get.
Best deal you will probably find specially with all DLC. Great price I’m sure it’s worth more then free…
No! Don’t do it! I’m not a Resident Evil superfan by any means, dont care for the story or if its more or less action or horror – and I hated this game! I kept saying with my buddy who I did co-op with, just how dumb each party was. Really bad over the top action that can make one sick. Lots of bad decisions in this game (even red barrels defied gravity for a falling tunnel boss sequence..?) – I won’t continue ;p The best thing this game has going for it is its really good looking!
I’m asking maself the same question…I’m a RE fan since ever but I hate RE6 because its dog crap.Always said to maself I would get RE6 for $5 or less and gotta be honest this is a good deal even for RE6.Would rather have it for free from Plus but I dunno what to do lol…still deciding.
It does not deserve all the hate it got. It’s the natural evolution of RE4, and a much better game than 5. The story, while action heavy, is one of the best told stories ever in a video game(note I said best told, not best). The way they weaved 4 different stories together, each story filling in more pieces, was done exceptionally well. The story is typical video game fare, though much better than average. Had the story been great, and had people been open to an action heavy RE game(which is insane, since RE4/5 were action games), it would have won many GotY awards.
I think the PSN user ratings for the PS4 version prove my point: at about 4.9/5 last I looked. People who didn’t play it last gen obviously would have fewer preconceptions about what kind of game it should be, and it’s been consistently rated very highly on PSN.
Then of course, you might hate it, as plenty do. If you want a zombie shooter, I think you will be satisfied. If you liked the direction of RE4/5, I think you will be satisfied. If you want an old school survival horror RE game, this is not the game to fill that niche.
