Starting today, if you head to PlayStation.com and log in to your PSN account, you’ll see a new toolbar in the top right where you’ll be able to view Notifications, Messages, Friends, and your own mini-profile — all from your computer’s web browser. This makes it easier to stay connected when you’re away from your console.
Your Friends list will be fully accessible via the toolbar, giving you a snapshot of which friends are online before you hop into a game. The Messages tab includes the ability to send and receive stickers, images, text, and voice messages all from the web.
You’ll also be able to keep track of friend requests, Party invitations, and game invitations from the Notifications tab until you can get to your console. Head over to PlayStation.com to check it out, and let us know what you think in the comments.
Focus your efforts on the app instead. It needs a lot of work
Totally agree the PlayStation mobile app really needs a lot of work compared to the Xbox app it really sucks big time.
I vote on this as well…
The Store through the app works awful and freezes.
yeap, I support your thought
I agree that I’d rather see the app improved. I really enjoy using the Playstation communities bit their absence from the app let’s them down.
Totally agree
Make the playstation app great….again?
+1 This is great, but the dedicated app needs improvement
They need to make it a full native app, right now it’s this hybrid mess.
Yeah the PlayStation App does need work. You would think with all the money they make would make a better one. I do use the PlayStation App but I also use a 2nd one. But it has everything we all are asking for. Chat, blogs, and can even see hidden trophies. So yeah the App does need work. But that is OK. I have a back up I use.
Before you guys complain about the app just think. If the ps app was as good as xboxs app, would playstation be dominating or annihilating xbox on the ability to play your ps4 console from anywhere via sony xperia or psvita?
Just let that simmer… you can’t play your Xbox from anywhere your playstation give you multiple modesources. Thanks from a former xbox user aname avid new ps4 owner. Ps4 > xbox
I still don’t understand why we Nigerians also come last in everything. No PlayStation app on iOs devices just android… you guys should try and make the app available please. Thanks
