  • Wow that a lot of requested refunds ;)

    • LOL…Well it does say downloads.

    • The most downloaded game that nobody is playing. Biggest waste of $60 ever. I will never pay AAA price for another indie. Total stupidity on my part.

    • I just platinumed No Man’s Sky yesterday and really enjoyed my time with the game. Sure a few things were missing, but it was still a great sci-fi exploration experience as advertised. I’m sorry if you guys didn’t dream of exploring space when you were a kid. This game is for those people.

    • I really wanted to love it and did dream of exploring space but i was bored only 2 hours in. The fact that it took me 20 minutes to walk to gather materials to repair my engine and another 20 minutes back to get in the ship was an immediate turn off.

Then i kept finding small outposts with structures..with nothing in them or something to see or do. Some had a trader in them and that’s it.
I defended that game as much as i could then i just couldn’t do it anymore

  • Sony, No Man’s Sky feels like early access and fails to deliver on its promises for a $60 title. I highly recommend FREE trials of all new released “indie” titles, Surely you’ve lost some if not many loyal fans of the PS community with this blunder who will most certainly not have any faith in future deserving indie titles.

    • How did it fail to deliver on its promises? I have a few in mind, but I want to hear your reasoning.

    • @ ZanFear

Just look for a video called “New Disappòintment Discovered: No Man’s Sky” and you’ll see all the content that’s lacking.

I have been enjoying the game too, but the fact that Sean Murray lied about a lot of things is irrefutable. Makes me mad and sad thinking about what the game could have been -.-.

  • That’s Funny. I didn’t know PSN tells jokes xD

F.Y.I. Last ever response from “#1” on PS4 side was August 18 after they got busted

    • I get it, it’s cool to joke about No Man’s Sky. You wanna be cool too in the eyes of your Internet fellows, so here we are.

  • You celebrate digital downloads yet your policies discourage it. On the PS3, you reserve 10% of the HDD for future OS update. Therefore, on my 1.5TB HDD (1300GB usable), you are reserving almost 150GB. I would love that storage back. I need it. I have 185 games downloaded to my PS3 and have another 150 games I would like to download. You have a 12GB PS3 that only reserve 5GB. Therefore, please change it from a percentage to a static number. Also, storage is or will become a serious problem for the PS4. Currently, the storage limit is 2TB. The PS3 and PS4 really need to support plug and play for external HDD. Both Nintendo and Microsoft support this. I already have over 80 games I would love to get when I finally get a PS4. Imagine if someone wants to replace their PS4 and do not have the original, then redownloading 80 games will be a pain. With my X360, I can easily just plug my external HDD into another X360 and play my games. Sony, I know because you are winning this generation, you do not care. I get it. That is capitalism. But please change your storage policies for the PS3 and PS4. You can pull up my account. I have over 400 digital games between my PS Vita and PS3. Storage is a real concern of mine.

    • If anything the author would not be affiliated to that department, you will have to email them to the actual people that do

    • To correct a mistake in your comment:
The PS3 is the only one with a 2TB limit for HDDs. The PS4, with the latest firmware, supports up to 4TB.

    • I know this not the answer your looking for but you can swap in and out HDD s.

As in you want to play games on the other hdd you just swap it after you turn it off.
Just like the vita with the cards

  • I am still mainly playing Helldivers which released March 2015 and waiting patiently for The Last Guardian.

  • Also, everyone, I am not sure if y’all know this but I learn this trick so I want to share it…you can download PSP games that are not design for PS Vita to your PS Vita. You know how Grand Theft Auto Collection has PSP/PS Vita but Capcom Classics Collection Reloaded only has PSP? Well to get Capcom Classics Collection on to your PS Vita, you just need to download the game to your PS3 then transfer it to your PS Vita. And the game is playable. I just bought like 11 PSP only games for my PS Vita. I am excited :)

  • Well, I’m clearly in the minority of people who is enjoying No Mans Sky. I must also be in the minority who wasn’t expecting a group of friends to get together to roam the galaxy. But, it must be the new thing to call someone a liar when things don’t go their way. I do not recall a time when it was said that this was to be a traditional multiplayer game. A shame so many seem to not understand that.

    • So much denial, Go watch the interviews and he was saying it was, a Lawyer would tell you the same. If you got the collectors edition, the sticker on the back if removed it says MULTIPLAYER!! So Much Denial

    • Amen, Mike! The same people the are really upset that they can’t run around a near infinite space with their friends are the same people that look at a general release window for a game(NOT a specific date), and take that for an exact date/science. While I do think Mr. Murray’s message could have been clearer, he NEVER said that players will be able to “fly around with your friends and run into other people throughout the galaxy.” A lot of people just assumed that Multiplayer meant you could do co-op or dog fight each other. I looked at the Multiplayer as the sharing/re-naming of discoveries.

    • I got the platinum yesterday and enjoyed my time with the game. I didn’t expect any multiplayer, but perhaps that feature wasn’t ready and is secretly on the way.

    • @Inferno_Dog

“I guess we’ve always downplayed multiplayer because it’s not really a multiplayer game. Actually, the experience is reasonably solitary. But we want you to feel like you’re playing in a shared universe, and I think it’s important to have those moments.

We’re trying to not say exactly what happens, but it’s not one … it’s a thing that very rarely occurs, so the chances of you landing on a planet that somebody’s actually been to before is pretty rare. It’s a nice thing when it happens. The chances of you being in the same space, the actual same planet at the same time as somebody, is something that might never happen. Certainly for an individual player, it might never happen, and it won’t be your friends for sure.

So when you do, we want you to be aware of it, and we want you to have a sense of it, and we want it to be a real moment. But it’s not like you go off and play deathmatch together, or call Julie, or start meleeing together and tea-bag each other. That is not what the game is about. It’s more of aJourney-esque experience, or Dark Souls-esque kind of thing.” – GameSpot, March 2016

    • @Inferno_Dog

I don’t see a promise for multiplayer. Can’t be lying if you take back what was never said, right?

  • LOL @ PS4 #1. So many sucker, so little time. I must admit I still want to give it a go, but NOT till the price is under $20 where it should of been from the start…!

    • Boring and repetitive. Sadly it’s really lame. The map is horrendous. Every planet is different but the same. Over an over.

    • Hey dude I picked this up for $18 and I enjoy it so much. I’m about 20 hours in. I think I’d have hated it if I had paid $60
3 of my family played it.

2 of my family loved it and another 1 said about 3 hours in it got boring and lonely.

      I still love it?

  • Rest in pepperoni people who got No Man’s Sky. You will be remembered.

  • Glad to see Overcooked at #19, great couch co-op.

  • The toxicity around No Man’s Sky makes me sad. That release should’ve been a cause for celebration at Hello Game’s since, despite what the game turned out to be, I still believe it’s a huge accomplishment for team of 12. I wonder it’d be like to live in a place where people were more excited about supporting others rather than tearing them down.

    • Exactly, what this small team made is an accomplishment in its own right. This game was made for all those who dreamt of exploring space, and in that respect the game does that well. Sure there are a few things lacking, but hopefully future updates will make the game better.

  • Ya, we all got duped on that one…

    • I didn’t follow the hype but I can say that the only thing that annoys me right now unless they fix it is the day cycles and how the sun orbits the planets instead.

  • The people hating on No Man’s Sky must be people who are afraid of being alone, or small minded, bitter folks that like to parrot other small minded, bitter folks. I don’t understand how you could play No Man’s Sky and not be amazed at the realization of Hello Games’ original concept. I for one am finding it to be a fascinating experience. Thank you to the small team at Hello Games for fulfilling the promise. It really is like stepping into the book art cover of a classic science fiction novel.

    • I am really into the concept, but need to try it. Very worried I will not give it enough attention since a lot of it is mining resources to later travel further in space. The idea surrounding it still really interests me, but it definitely has a specific target audience and I understand a lot of people would have trouble with that.

Saying that, I still do not agree with all the negativity. Some games are just targets for it. I just happened to realize early on that this might not be for me. Still really want to try it though.

    • I’m with you on this one. I’ve been enjoying this since launch. This is a great exploration game. The wonderment of checking out new planets is like being a kid again exploring a new neighborhood. And learning the languages to figure out what is being said so you can make the right choices is fun too. It is amazing especially when considering the small team that pulled this off. It’s not a perfect game, but it is entertaining. I’ll be playing this for some time to come.

And to anyone who’s crapping over it just because it’s indie, some of today’s biggest franchises started off by indie teams. I’ll always support the indie games.

  • No Man’s Sky is great. Glad it was #1.

  • Damn, Deus Ex at 12th when it was one of the few new AAA games that came out in August. I have a bad feeling this game underperformed sales wise and we might not get more games like this. Loved Human Revolution and was planning to pick this up sometime soon.

  • Happy to see God Eater Ressurection and Rage Burst are at the top for Vita downloads in August. The games are great.

  • I believe Metallica was referring to whiny NMS players when they said “They say the empty can rattles the most”. People did enjoy the game. The ones that didn’t just make more noise about it.

  • I don’t think NMS is half as bad as people make out. It’s actually a really impressive game…. with problems.. But in saying that, so many AAA games have just as many problems and they aren’t torn apart half as much.

  • i look at reviews before buying a game, ever seen angryjoe on youtube do his no mans sky review? man its hilarious, i’d never touch that game lol

  • I am Loving my time on No Man’s Sky. Hello Games NEVER said it would be multi-player, people just assumed. NMS is a game for those of us who dreamed of finding a spaceship and flying away. The toxic environment some are creating around this game is horrific. It’s an amazing concept, Hello games did an amazing job, and this type of game is the future. My God how tired I am of stupid repeatable Multiplayer games like Overwatch, Dark Souls and Destiny. Playing the same place over and over and over again. With NMS I can pick a random point of light and go there, see what it’s about and move on. On my second galaxy and the updates that Hello Games keeps coming out with just make it better. And besides, I have a real dinosaur planet, moon actually (euclid galaxy) Where I have named the Tyrannosaurus looking species George. Because I could that’s why!

Love to No Man’s Sky and the Team at Hello Games
Looking forward to their next project!

  • Its amazing how many people cannot play a game that doesn’t tell them everything they have to do. Its not enough to spend 8hrs a day playing a game people want a game that you can be as mindless as possible to play. No Man’s Sky is awesome to bad for those for those returning it. Have fun playing mindless craft!

  • I got the attlas pass in no man sky v3
