  • At last Kingsdlaie, the only reason for getting a PS$ was for FFXV, and it-s finally coming toghether

  • One Way Trip sounds/looks interesting.

  • Hmmm, I kinda want Attack on Titan but I’ll have to see some reviews first.

    • I have the game on PC and have been liking it so far, and in regards to reviews there are already a bunch out some of the ones that I have seen have rated the game as an 7/10 and on Steam it has 80% positive feedback. But be warned that the game can get very repetitive since its an Omega game after all.

    • You don’t need to wait for reviews. The reviews have been up for a week.

    • @TJ_Solo I mean user reviews. :)

    • There are user reviews on Youtube.

  • Final Station looks awesome! Can’t wait to play that but I’m gonna wait on the reviews for strike vector.

  • Has anyone played any Livelock? While I’m not particularly good at twin stick shooters, I still find they very enjoyable. Here’s to hoping Livelock is a good one.

  • Liking the drop this weekend NO CAPS finally and we can see all the games. Hopefully the complainers will hush now.

As for me nothing for me this week im still enjoying and splitting time between my regular games Madden NFL 17 and No Mans Sky yes i am one of the few that likes No Mans Sky unlike the haters. Verdun seems intresting i might look into that.

And Cue the PlayStation plus whiners

    • I think the reason why No Man’s Sky got a lot of criticism is because of the list of features that are unfortunately missing from the final version. I’m not hating on the game, it’s just that, had the features that Hello Games promised (that are missing in the final version) are in the final version, it could’ve got some great if otherwise decent reviews. Hell, I was having interest in getting the game until I found out about the missing features which pretty much puts my interest in getting this game in jeopardy.

    • Love how paying customers who voice their displeasure over a constantly cruddy selection of product are considered “whiners” by some here. You are nothing but corporate shills….”company men”. If you pay for something and what you receive back is less than stellar, you have the right to voice your opinion. Let’s be honest….the PS PLUS lineup has been dreadful for a very long time. That’s why I didn’t renew my membership last year and I haven’t looked back.

If you enjoy the cruddy lineup of games, you enjoy yourselves. But don’t take it out on those who won’t take this junk anymore.

Go back to posting your drivel, “company man”.

    • @rudetoy I agree with you. It also disgusts me that people on the internet not only don’t know the difference between criticism and hate, but they also act like those two things are the same (when in reality they’re not). And before you sheep give me immature insults, please read the definitions of criticism and hate, so that way you’ll know that those two things are different.

Criticism: The expression of disapproval of someone or something based on perceived faults or mistakes.
Hate: Denoting hostile actions motivated by intense dislike or prejudice.

So you see, when we criticize something, we’re not denoting hostile actions, we’re not motivated by intense dislike/prejudice, we’re simply expressing disapproval of something based on perceived faults/mistakes.

*”The More You Know” music plays*

    • Ah, yes – very good. Education. As I’ve said before: It’s only business…. No hate – straight business. Mind your own business. People own their opinions.
Devs and pubs somehow don’t know their games suck till they’re told. Look at cod: they kept doing the same thing; people got sick of it and let Acti know. Bet you they switch it up good next time.
Let me know if you need assistance.

    • @rudetoy well said, nice to see people who aren’t sheep speaking their mind. Don’t know if it’s this generation or a growing trend but more and more people simply accept sub-standard service/products and ask for more.

  • No comments ilove attack on Titan ps3/ps4/psvita/deal/ but no day1 DLC :(

  • in case anyone asks, and I’m sure there will be, Resident Evil 4 does NOT have a platinum trophy. It’s the same exact listing as it was on PS3. Just a bit of a heads-up for all of those wondering. Either way, it’s Resident Evil 4 you know and love over the years.

  • Aww, no Blogcast this week? I would’ve loved to hear you guys talk about some of these, as well as BlazBlue…. :(

Anyways, PDX (PS4) and GE2 (Vita) for me this week!

  • We are days away from first Thursday of the month and yet still no news on the September PS Plus line up?

    • @dkarlowicz10 Let’s just cross our fingers hope that we get interesting games in the September 2016 PS Plus game lineup and not just those stupid okay-at-best indie “games” that most of us PS Plus subscribers had enough with.

And cue the immature insults from all the blind sheep who will still defend Sony’s greed and carelessness.

    • The announcement will probably be on wednesday.

If my observations are correct they always do the announcement a day or two after the last store update of the month.

    • The announcement about the upcoming month’s games happen the week before the first Tuesday of the month. That’s how it’s worked for years.

    • @gameman15 are you being ironic? Or are you just idiotic enough to not realize the hypocrisy and nonsensicalness of your own post?

    • Ive been wondering about that too.

With the coming price increase and the negative feedback associated with it, do you think they are trying to make September’s PS+ lineup a bit better than usual? Maybe making some last minute changes in order to gain some good will from their subscribers before the price goes up?

I guess we will know soon enough…..

  • I’ve been waiting for God Eater 2 for a long time. Loved the first one, day one buy.

  • Nice big selection! Thanks!

  • Thank you for whatever changed in the layout this week.

For the first time in about a month, I can now read The Drop.

    Well done.

  • Can’t wait for Verdun looks really fun to play til Battlefield 1 comes out

  • Waiting for september Games , hope no INDIE TRASH after the ps plus price increase

    • I have all 3 systems so there is usually something I enjoy, indie or not. That said, mixing it up and giving a full scale title for PS4 would be nice. I certainly couldn’t complain about getting Yakuza 5 last month. as long as I get 1 title I like each month, it pays for itself IMO. More than 1 is bonus, even with the indies. Plus I still have my backlog for those poor selection months. I guess I am somewhere in the middle between fanboy blindness and blind *****ing.

  • Most of these games should have a demo. The majority of gamers don’t like to take risks on purchases of games they’re not too familiar with. Demos = sales a lot of the time. Otherwise give us an option to return a digital game, in a similar fashion like STEAM.

    • No Man’s Sky Demo before the sale

    • Its called do your homework yes homework on videogames look up gameplay videos and other things. I just did and i just added 5 games to my to buy/download list. Four Sided Fantasy, Hue, Space Hulk, Star Hammer: The Vanguard prophecy and Strike Vector Ex all look intresting to me and i may grab them down the when i am in need of a new game.

    • What majority? MOST games don’t have demos on any digital store or physical retailer.
The majority of games decide to buy games without playing a demo. N

  • Sad to see no Blogcast this week :(

  • Article looks great this week, thank you!

  • Any word on when these other cars from the PC version will be coming to Asetto Corsa? Most of the reason I’m excited for it is the classics from Dodge, Plymouth and Chevy, all are not listed in the initial console version. DLC is fine, but I’m going to hold off picking it up till the cars I want are available. If you’ve got any info, much appreciated. Thanks!

  • Just curious why attack on titan wasnt available for pre-order? Would of been nice to have it installed and ready for monday night

  • Looking forward to playing Verdun, haven’t tried it on PC yet, so PS4 will be my first time.

  • This is an indie lover’s dream and a great week, at least for my tastes! Hatsune Miku, (not for the women because I don’t play for that team), Binaries looks great and has received all of these awards. Nebulous and Hue look very good as well. I’m curious as to the amount of levels in Nebulous and Hue. My hard drive is almost out of room. I will be broke this week after Tues and will have to budget.

PS I read that Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 is coming out on September 13th!

  • Another Bandi game on the Vita only being offered digitally in NA unlike other countries. No thanks, I’ll make sure to import a used copy somewhere down the road.

  • I am finally able to see the drop on the ps4, you have no idea how happy I am, they finally changed that horrible format from the past few weeks. :-o

  • I can’t wait for resident evil 4. I have that game on my ps2 and PS3.

  • Didn’t realize The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition was out this week. I’ve been waiting a long time to grab it, and it’s at a nice discount from certain retailers, so it joins my preorders for Project Diva X and Attack on Titan. Yay, games.

  • attack on titan on vita ? and god eater 2 also ? best week for the vita in a long long time

  • Did someone say Miku?! :D

  • some needs to band that spammer

  • The Final Station looks good and I’m equally excited about the Witcher 3 complete collection. Funny how there was no mention of Fallout 4 Mika World dlc in this blog post. Though let it be said with the price of PS Plus going up all new releases and sales incorporate a discount for members.

  • Looking forward to Assetto Corsa.

  • Still no new ps2ps4 game announcement. I love how the sheep defend paid emulation but don’t seem to mind the really low few of them. It sounds like ps2ps4 was only a short term thing to counter Microsoft FREE (yes I said the f word) backwards compatiblity. 32 games are on there. Several are Rockstars. Several are First Party. If people are seriousl that this will be supported, when will we see games like Resident Evil Outbreak, Kingdom Hearts, Naruto Ultimate Ninja’s 1-5 (Not Storm Series), Budokai series

  • Why so much hate for the past few ps plus lineups? Rebel galaxy is pretty fun and tricky towers is actually really fun! Just give these games a chance people. Can’t stand it when people just write games off as “indie trash”

  • What’s the install size for Attack on Titan for PS4? I was hoping to pre-load, but it doesn’t look like that’s happening, sadly…
Also, is it cross-buy with Vita?

  • Wow wow wow. What a great lineup. PlayStation has the most new content of any entertainment choice in the world. Be prepared to be moved. Woops someone forgot to post Price’s for all this great content. Well head over to the PlayStation store later today and tomorrow for those great Price’s on all these hot title’s. • Out of nowhere Space Hulk? Strategy and Mp too? sure! You got a sale.

Wasted opportunity on the Witcher Complete edition retail imo.

I already got the complete game and would’ve double dip on the complete retailGoty version if it included The Set of all Gwent Decks from the game. (I only got the 4 Gwent decks that came on the retail expansions).

    My .02

  • Assault Suit Leynos is great, thanks for bringing a physical release to the US.

Also, how many times is Capcom going to re-release Resident Evil 4? Jeez.

  • haha RE4 is back!

  • Damn a lot of games on this Drop hu,I don’t think I ever saw so much games in a week and not only that but a lot of good games on the list.I definitely will be getting some of them games.

Damn Attack on Titan game releasing and no sight of the 2nd season on the horizon.

    Livelock looks like Destiny.

    And lol at RocketsRocketsRockets description.

  • Can’t wait to play Resident Evil 4 for the billionth time…. Feels like tradition to do a playthrough of that game with all the versions that have released now lol. Also, Battlefield 1 beta hype tomorrow! :]

    • Unless you signed up fir battlefield insider you’re not playing til the 31st lol open beta is then, insiders get it the 30th

  • Wasteland 2 Director’s Cut and Adr1ft are my top wishes for September’s PS+, but I won’t hold my breath.

  • Sucks that you can’t pre order Attack on Titan!

  • How much is Verdun gonna run? I hear $20 and I have heard $30. $20 would be the sweet spot though. My main concern is I heard the PC servers are practically dead. The game looks great and heard it’s fun just the player base fell off fast. Hoping that does not happen here. I know it’s an indie title and they can’t advertise all that much so that works even more against them. I am gonna give it a try myself though as I was close to buying it on Steam anyway until I seen it was gonna be on PS4.

  • Where did you get the date information from batman? Did Telltale Games tell you directly, and then asked you change it or was it just a guess, and then you found info that its not coming out this week?

  • Does anybody know when the PlayStation Store updates for the 30 of August

  • Where the heck is Space Hulk on PS4, I’m not seeing it!

  • The Fallout 4 expansion Nuka World was already added in the ps store late yesterday, it was supposedly suppose to release on the 30th but it got a global release yesterday. Never seen them mention dlc / expansions on the drop in the past.

Looks like a pretty big week for the weekly ps store update, Attack on Titan, Hatsune Miku & The Nuka World expansion. Im surprised we don’t get the random Arcade Archive pick of the week. In the past the ps store usually updated late afternoon for NA but recently it’s been every Tuesday before noon.

  • Nice game selection this week. Would love to see a sale at the Store Update post ))

  • Excited for Hatsune Miku! the demo had great songs :)
Also God Eater 2 looks awesome!

Lastly Kingsglaive is a must watch for me :D

  • Attack on Titan needs English voice DLC, these companies are cheap these days not even giving the option.
