  • Thanks for the release of Adventures of Mana this past week :)

    • Agreed! Been playing Adventures of Mana all morning. It was a nice surprise getting a decent title from a AAA developer. I remember playing the original Final Fantasy Adventure for days back in the early 90’s – the game & music is taking me back!

  • awesome , so metal slug anthology is coop right with 4 players ps4?

    • Unfortunately, no, sorry, since this is based on the PS2 version, but hey, at least as usual with PS2 to PS4 ports, it comes with a trophy list with a platinum, though the list requires you to majority clear the games with a limited number of continues.

  • Beyondthegrave07

Thanks, love to see the PS2 classics come to the ps4. I hope that we see more in the near future.

    Happy 4th of July Ryan!

  • Looking forward to The Banner Saga 2 and of course Furi. Furi has been on my radar for a long time and I’ve been seeing great reviews for it already. So glad we get it on PS Plus. Also if you don’t have Rocket League yet no better time than now to buy it now that it’s at retail.

Shout out to Eastasiasoft as Lost Sea is really fun as well.

    • Even though i have Rocket League i’m thinking about buying it a 3rd and 4th time to support the developers. Funny how this game started as a plus game turned into a hit

  • PS2 Classics Wish List:
    – Silent Hill 2/3/The Room/Origins (i don’t like HD remasters)
    – Valkyrie Profile 2 Silmeria
    – Obscure 1/2
    – Xenosaga 1/2/3
    – Hounting Ground

    • I am pretty sure that Konami had stated that they lost the code for the PS2 editions and the HD editions was their poor attempt to recreate them. So PS2 versions will never happen.

    • You don’t need to the original code to remake games. Blu Point makes their HD collections like GoW, MGS and Uncharted by ripping the actual disk assets. That Silent Hill fiasco was just amateur.

  • I’ve been playing hawken and The Banner Saga 2 since Saturday on the Xbox 1. hawken is a free 2 play game and The Banner Saga 2 is a Games with Gold Game. Anyways besides thoses two and free PlayStation Plus games the only other game i want is the Metal Slug Collection. #SlugLife.

    • hows hawken never played it, all i now its better then titanfall, because its fully mech battles then random mechs dropping from the sky and the rest is just human vs human vs bot.

    • also at least on PS you dont need a subscription to play it, because what ive heard anything with multiplayer needs a subscription even if it says Free2play. while on Playstation they are actually free, which i dont get why xbox doesnt change that which is why i dont play on my 360 with because all the games are free to play after i pay for them.

  • 6 Metal Slugs with trophies and all that stuff? amazing. Samurai Shodown Anthology next, please. Then both Fatal Fury volumes, we didn’t saw the second one over here.

    • Yep, awesome that MS Anthology is being brought over for PS4, but the others would be a real good one.

Also, the second FFA did get brought overseas, though probably in limited supply.

  • The Beast is Back!

    Whoops, sorry. Wrong forum…

  • Saving my $$ for the week 2 sale.. make it massive Sony!

  • Furi looks sooo good!

  • Finally, Romance of the Three Kingdoms is back on PS in English after almost a decade! I’m buying two copies. So pumped!!!

  • Oh man I forgot Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII was coming out this week, better pre-order it tomorrow

  • Excited, for Lumo on VIta. Just a bit too expensive…will wait for it to go on sale.

  • I’m thinking about getting Furi since it is a free game for PS Plus and try out Hawken because it is a free-to-play game.

  • IWT $Per-order [[[attack on Titan]]]

  • Fist two games are already on xbl. First one is ok, second one is meh. How about a free exclusive next time around? ;)

  • When will skyrim be available for preorder in the US its already available on the psn store in Europe

  • I’m looking forward to rocket leauge collectors edition its pretty decent to have a whole new arenas and cars

  • Thank goodness there’s nothing here that really interests me… I’ve still got a lot of SO5 to play and then there’s I Am Setsuna in a couple weeks…

    • @Sehulir I find it ironic that you criticize a post on the PlayStation Blog yet when we do the same you hate on us, claiming that it’s not something that “appeals to us”, and then later praise Sony because they, as you claim, made some people “happy”.

    • @gameman15 Thats called a troll. And I am Setsuna will be trash.

    • …. I didn’t criticize it. I commented there was nothing interesting for me. There’s nothing wrong with saying there’s nothing interesting to you.

You’ll note I didn’t insult Sony, or demand anything out of them, or insist they cater anything to me.

In fact, I even stated that it was a bit of a relief, because I am actually genuinely relieved for a week’s reprieve from all the awesome games coming out.

It is in these facts that the difference between my posts and yours come out. You are constantly hating on them for not personally catering to you. I am merely acknowledging that this week holds nothing for me and stating that I am actually kind of glad of that.

    • @Soulaxion I guess my time playing and enjoying the Japanese version must have been a dream or maybe a game isn’t trash just because you don’t like it.

  • Hopefully they addressed the loading time issue that plagued the original PS2 release of Metal Slug Anthology. If so and the price point is $9.99, count me in.

    • It probably be more or less the same considering porting to PS2 to PS4, but the load times from the PS2 anthology isn’t that bad.

Also, sorry to say, it costs $20, no launch discount, though you do get a PS4 theme with purchase.

  • Holy S…Metal Slug Anthology…hell yeah I’m definitely getting that.Played through all them Metal Slugs on PSP last year to remember old times and I’m really happy to see this on PS4.Guess thats SNK answer to Metal Slug 20th birthday…was expecting Metal Slug 8 but this is more than enough.

    • Wish it was on PS3 though.

    • Unless you had a backwards compatible PS3 that is that can play PS2 disc of MS Anthology (although, technically, IIRC, you can get the PS2 digital classic version for PS3, but its only available from the JP/Asia PS stores), but yeah not only that, its still going strong with MS Attack too.

Either ways, yeah, a main sequel to MS would be a dream.

  • So many good games this week! Happy 4th!

  • TehFineztJokerX

Definitely picking up Rocket League CE to support the devs and I love physical copies over digital. Going to give Hawken a try and I still have yet to play The Banner Saga so definitely picking both up when TBS 2 releases.

  • OMG!! HAWKEN could of been next to the closest thing to Mechwarrior 2!!! They just had to make it multiplayer only?!

  • *waits for bandai to add tenkaichi 3 as a ps2 classic*

  • Wake me up when they decide to release socom 1,2 and 3 campaigns for ps4. Until then meh..

  • The Bad Puppy Trophy for Heart&Slash doesn’t unlock. So no one has been able to platinum the game so far (myself included).

  • What about Dex its supposed to have a july 8th release in the US digitally available in uk but not here any info beyond
