Is anybody out there? Can you hear me? Is this thing on? Oh hello – my name is Cory Davis, Co-Creative Director at a studio you have never heard of: Tangentlemen.
How did we get here? It’s sort of a haze now…
A few years ago I was dragged out of the basement of a Berlin techno club (while battling a brutal Spec Ops: The Line come-down) for a chat with Toby Gard (Creator of Lara Croft and Tomb Raider), Rich Smith (of Call of Duty Modern Warfare) and John Garcia-Shelton (of Medal of Honor and Call of Duty).
Something was discussed about beards, alchemical symbols, The Shining, and a chance to leave AAA development to take risks and make the games that we’ve always wanted to make.
As we talked, a dark cloud filled the room. I felt like I was sinking… from there it was just flashes.
A trip through the desert, an edible herb garden, a liquid Kitty, a shattered door, a dead tortoise, a King’s Head, a nude scanning session. A Garage.
Chop Chop.
Sprays of blood.
Toby as Jack from the Shining – no wait, that was me… Toby was Shelly Duvall?!
Is this making any sense?
It’s all leading to something…
Something.
Are these scenes from the game we are working on, memories of experiences creating it, or something more terrifying altogether?
At least now I realize it wasn’t all a hallucination.
Tangentlemen has grown from a team of weirdos in a garage in Los Angeles into a collaboration with Sony’s External Development team at Santa Monica Studio, and after a frightening journey into the unknown, we are excited to finally pull back the curtain to unveil our first project – Here They Lie.

Here They Lie is a dark psychological horror experience that transports you to a terrifying, surreal world inhabited by strange and malevolent creatures. Unimaginable horrors lurk around every corner, just out of sight, haunting and infecting your mind.
Dare yourself to go deeper down the rabbit hole and confront the meaning of your existence.
With a focus on narrative, and the experience of dread, Here They Lie is not your typical survival horror game.
We can’t wait to take this trip with you and show you what lies hidden deep within this mind-altering journey. Here They Lie will launch Fall 2016 for PlayStation VR and PlayStation 4.
Where are the PS Vita games???
They all suffer a tragic death and are now decomposing in their graves. Unfortunately the PS Vita has been dead for quite some time now.
Vita’s not dead, it just has not forward support by first party game companies in the west. As a system that gets games, it has tons, and has a better stick rate then the PS4 and PS3. Sadly we just don’t get the support that Asia gets for the little system. I love my vita though and buy more games for it then my xbox one or ps3. PS4 beats it out though.
Lol I do love my vita very much as I use mine for mainly remote play. But it’s mainly favored in Japan as it has awesome anime video games if your into that. So far I get imports for it. If your an anime game liver the vita is the way to go lol.
