Paragon Essentials Edition Hits Stores Today

We’ve been working on a special version of our new MOBA, Paragon, called the Essentials Edition, which is available at retailers in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil. Like today. Right now. You can buy the thing.

The Essentials Edition includes everything you need to get started on the battlefields of Agora, including the product launch-exclusive Wasteland Twinblast skin.

We put together this edition so that even if you’ve already bought a Founder’s Pack, we hope you’ll still find this a pretty excellent deal. Plus, we know that some people still love to have their games on a physical disc.

Paragon Essentials Edition includes:

Access to the Beta

  • Get in the game immediately.

6,000 Paragon Coins

  • In-game currency to spend on additional Master Challenges, skins, boosts, and other things that haven’t been announced yet. If you’re already planning to buy coins, this is worth it alone because you get all the other stuff.

Five Hero Master Challenges

  • Each Master Challenge immediately grants a Challenger skin and permanent XP boost, plus unlocks unique rewards as you play, including a taunt and the Master skin.
  • Includes Master Challenges for Twinblast, Sevarog, Iggy & Scorch, GRIM.exe and Riktor.

Five Skins, Including the Product Launch-Exclusive Wasteland Twinblast Skin
You also get …

  • War Chief Grux
  • Energized Dekker
  • Autumn Fire Sparrow
  • Bronze Warden Riktor

Five Rep Boosts (Each Lasts For Three Wins)

  • Rep boosts speed up how quickly you earn Rep, which you can spend on card packs, Master Challenges and more.

The whole Essentials Edition is over $160 in value (based on in-game currency) for only $59.99 ($79.99 Canadian). /announcervoice

I’ll see you on the battlefield, before I run away to the jungle.

GLHF.

  • I had already spent $60 on the game for access when it started on PS4. I had been thinking bout upgrading to the last teir but now im not sure what to do. The last teir is $40 and this disc game verison is $60.

I dont know what to do. The $60 disc give me coins, master challenges and skins i dont have yet, but im thinking the last teir in the game would be better buy, i just wouldnt get any coins or skins.

Ugh….. choices… dont know what to do.

BYW… i love all the new things youve done to the game. All the recent changes have made this game so much better than it was at the start.

Truly thank you for listening to the community. Very appreciated

    • If you have to choose between the two I would choose the upgrade option instead of buying the essential edition. You get close to 30 extra challenger skins and master challenges unlocked with that bundle which is a 300 dollar deal and you won’t have to worry about spending rep or coins to unlock a challenger skin for a long time allowing you to spend that rep on card packs! Also that 40 dollar deal won’t be around forever but you can buy coins any time down the line and also the essential edition. I upgraded and don’t regret it at all trust me it is worth it if you like master challenges of course and getting that extra challenger skin for free everytime a new hero comes out. If you aren’t into that kinda thing then just get the essentials edition.

  • Huh I thought this was supposed to be a free to play game like most MOBA/games with minimal content/quality.

All these ‘packs’… I’ve never seen a more expensive MOBA.

    • It’s as expensive as, say, League of Legends since it’d be like buying a bunch of Riot Points to get a lot of skins.
The Early Acces packs were to get that, Early Acces and some trinkets.

    • It is free to play.. You are paying for early access and a bunch of additional cosmetic content and boots just like any other Moba. This moba is actually cheaper than others with its in game content most mobas average skins at about $8 per skin at the lowest but this game gives it’s lowest tier skins for only $5 a skin. But you know.. Math is hard.

  • I’m not a MOBA player, I just know most of the ones I’ve seen are free to play and I heard this game was supposed to be as well.

I would never even consider buying something like a ‘skin’ regardless of the price.

    • This game is free to play, but it hasn’t officially released just yet, still in early access.

I have no problems paying money to play a game I enjoy that will eventually be free to play. Likewise, if I am playing and enjoying a game this much I like to support the developer for making an amazing experience.

I don’t mind, I will help fund this awesome game so people like you can enjoy it for free. Bring on those tier 3 and 4 skins Epic, I will buy some of them for sure!

    • I agreed with you at one point. Then I realized it’s like buying clothes. Just to look a little different than the norm. Maybe it’s stupid but that’s the beauty of freedom. Do or don’t, it’s your choice.

  • I started with the $20 Founders Pack and quickly realized the game is mad fun. So I was either going to upgrade to the $100 pack or the essentials edition. I decided to go with the essentials edition because of the 6000 coins. I plan on sticking with this game for awhile and looking forward to all the other character releases. I am however even more excited to see some tier 3 and 4 skins!

You guys are doing an amazing job communicating with the community and updating the game. Keep it up!

  • Since paying for early access I have definitely gotten my money’s worth. So I will upgrade and continue to support this game. It’s fun as hell.

  • Is this a regional exclusive? Or will it be released for Europe as well? Already got the Founder’s pack but wouldn’t mind getting this for the coins and skins.

  • I thought this game was supposed to be F2P at some point?

  • I’ve never played MOBA before perhaps starcraft back in the days. I saw this game online and thought I’ll give it a try. I’ve ended up buying the essential edition not knowing that I need to purchase a founder pack in order for me to play it. Noob mistake. Anyhow, from the three that were listed I don’t know which I should get. I thought about the challenge founder pack since the the essential editions comes with alot of stuff already mainly the 5 master challenges plus currency to unluck some challenges in the furure. With the challenger pack I get to access to 13 master challenges and 3 rep post bost (which I’m not too sure what its for the mean time) or should I get the master pack and not worry about future spending on this game since I’m pretty sure Ill get into it.
